Willow Oaks Park

Lovely neighborhood park for young kids and dogs to roam around. Decent play structures, and a large dog park separated by fences make it safe for families of all sizes and shapes. Tree cover makes it comfortable during the summer months. Overall, it’s a well maintained park.

Parking is a little sparse. It's at the light of Coleman and the driveway to enter is a little narrow if there is another vehicle exiting. This playground is great for my 2 and 5 year old. Not too big where I'm not running around in circles and can still keep a close eye on the other one if they get separated. It is enclosed which benches and a nice walking path around the perimeter. Good shade from lots of trees. To the left, there is a huge grassy field for a lot of doggy owners to meet and their canines to romp around together. Also great for your little one to run loose and kick a soccer ball. It is one of those parks that do not get too crowded which I appreciate. There is no need to worry about a big kid hustling my little one, although there was a boy that pushed my 2 year old girl to the ground trying to get up the ladder and it took some inner strength not to react and say something because the parents were not paying attention so what was the point.

Addendum for the dog park, July 09.2022:. I first want to express that there are not that many good dog park in Menlo Park compared to the surrounding cities. Bummer. This park is basically a lumber yard and there were no dogs when I visited on Sunday at noon. View photos. There is also not a doggie water fountain. This kind women had to fill a jug at a water fountain near the parking lot and carry it back for doggies to stay hydrated.

In regards to the huge grassy field mentioned above. Scratch that! It's been closed off and no doggies allowed. I am guessing they have games going on but it was empty when I was there. Lots of people playing tennis though

We had a great visit to this park today! It was extra special because the last time I visited this park, I was in labor with my younger child, who is now 17 months old!
The park felt safe and clean, and it wasn't overcrowded. There is a nice little hand washing station installed now, which is great! Both of my daughters had fun, and were sad that we couldn't stay longer.

Little neighborhood part with swings and play structures, that are suitable for both toddlers and for elementary school kids. There’s also a dog park near by, a big field where people play soccer. The park’s well shaded with mature trees covering big portion of play area.

This park is amazing!! Has plenty of space for the kids to run around but its gated so they can't run off.. people are very friendly. And there is an area just for dogs to run around. One of the best

I love this park because I can walk to it while also having so many things to over like nice seating areas and even a tennis court. I would define the recommend!

Hello grew up hanging out there as a kid and as an adult still a very nice park basketball hoops a nice playground for the kids a very big soccer field a dog park that's pretty big and there's a gas station close by so summer you get some snacks a lot of food places nearby as well great place for the family or just to yourself

Convenient neighborhood park with tennis courts. Has separate dog park area. Large field for activities with other kids.

nice park, never too full and always other friendly parents. my daughter loves that she can watch the dogs play from the children's playground!

Beautiful park to play for kids. & Play ground for Pets specially dogs.

Dog park was clean, and there were many friendly medium and large dogs. There isn’t a section for small dogs.

Menlo Park's love of trees and greenspace gathered a community sculpture in a small, neatly landscaped park next to a covered bus stop for SamTrans, DB, & the Menlo Park Free Shuttle lines.

Nice park. Good to visit with children. Tennis courts are well maintained here. There are no restrooms in the park.
