My son was having surgery and I, his mother, was going through chemo in another state. I selected Ah Sam's because it came in a list of florists in San Mateo. I ordered a bouquet online and after placing the order, I discovered a mistake in my personal note. I called and a very pleasant individual made the correction and the order was sent off to my son's. Later that day, I received a thank you and a photo of the arrangement I had selected. All of this was accomplished easily, professionally, and graciously!! .... these last mentioned qualities are not experienced regularly these days!!

I love the convenience of being able to order online and pickup locally. I was easily able to place an order for prom flowers just a few days before prom. The two items I ordered were exactly as pictured. Ah Sam isn't the closes florist to me by far but will always be my preferred florist!

All the arrangements on Ah Sam's website were noticeably more expensive than those from other floral shops I bought from, but the arrangement I received from Ah Sam's shop was the first one I've purchased in the area that exceeded my expectations in every way. The arrangement was larger, healthier, and more vibrant than I had become accustomed to and a week after being delivered the flowers are still bright and healthy.

I usually request custom arrangements and am always impressed by the excellent results. The florists at Ah Sam are really quite artistic, so I will request certain flowers or colors with a particular theme in mind, and then just let them come up with a design. I've received many resounding thank yous from from discerning and hard-to-please recipients. Expensive but well worth it!

Ah Sam florist has become my “go-to” florist after delivering and creating many beautiful, fresh and creative bouquets for me with terrific customer service and responsiveness….pickup for pre ordered arrangements is also easy and I’ve come to rely on their prompt attention and reliability (which seems to be a rare business attribute these days!). I ordered floral arrangements for my sister's memorial service, but I wanted them to be spectacular & of a free-flowing design. I went to the store to order them & Dottie was the salesperson who helped me. When the flowers were delivered to the mortuary, they
weren't exactly as I had hoped (not enough color), although the design was really fabulous. I phoned Dottie & they sent someone out to add more color to two of the arrangements before the service the following morning, and they ended up being more than I could have hoped for! Received many compliments about the flowers, & the personal service from Ah Sam's made it all the more special! I think Ah Sam's is
the finest florist on the peninsula!
