Zanotto’s Sunnyvale Market

Let me start by saying that Zanotto's is a wonderful neighborhood market and the butcher shop has the best meats. Their fruits and vegetables are really good too! They also carry some Olson's products as well.

In the past we ordered the Turkey in the bag for Thanksgiving which was really good (better than Dragers) and so were the creamy mashed potatoes and also the traditional sage dressing. The only issue we had was with the turkey gravy.
For Christmas we ordered a 12 lb. Prime rib in a bag with some sides. All I can say is that after my wife cooked it, the Prime rib was very delicious. With the leftovers we had a couple of more meals, French dip sandwiches and Prime rib chili and both were really good. Even after having some of the meat in the freezer, we recently had Prime rib chili again and it was still very good.

Nice clean store near N. Mary and Fremont. Have most importantly Italian flour, double zero. I wanted to make Italian pizza and you need double zero flour. Also have Bel Gioioso Mozzarella cheese, one of the best tasting mozzarella cheeses in America.
Lots of Parking and close to Walgreen's.

Update Oct 31 2022: Italian Panettone is in stock now. I like the lemon cream and Tiramisu, so freaking good. Serve with cold nitro coffee with half & half. 😊

I plan to make seafood paella at home and they have all I need, seafood broth, bomba rice and even fresh scallop, shrimp, clams. Very helpful. Got a variety of cheese and salami too.

Good selection of fruits, produce, and beer&wine. Checkout is efficient and quick. Store is very clean and organized. Prices are slightly higher than Safeway, but worth the shopping experience and fruit&produce quality.

Definitely not your standard supermarket in the sense that while it has the typical sections the selection of products is unique with a lot of emphasis on international brands (Italian and French). The fresh meats and sausage section is definitely of high quality- beats for sure Whole Foods. Bread and cheese selection is also varied and of excellent quality.

I loooooove this place, the selection of imported goods and local goods is fantastic. The meat is fresh and great quality.

So pleased by the catering Patrick was able to do for us for a small memorial service reception. The food was delicious, the prices were very reasonable, and Patrick was a joy to work with. Very highly recommend Zanotto’s catering.

Super friendly local spot with everything you need from a super sized grocery store.

This is one of the best, if not the best grocery stores in the Bay Area. The highlights are their meat, pasta, produce, deli and wine. I live mere blocks from a Safeway and a Lucky's but I'll drive miles out of my way to shop here. If you really like good food this is the place to buy what's necessary to cook it.

Great choice of Italian food, ok prices, sometimes good discounts, e.g 20% off any wine bottle this weekend, and many other regular or occasional ones.

Our go to meat and seafood spot. The meat is fresh and not butchered. The staff is knowledgeable and makes good recommendations.

Still family run, even at this new location. Great meat counter and deli. Veggies are high quality, but with a price to match. Large wine and beer selection. We love their tri-tips. If you go for a marinated one (do!), we think the black one (secret sauce) is the best. They also have a selection of marinated chicken breasts that grill nicely.

Our favorite supermarket. The staff is friendly and always available. Also the selection and thre quality is pretty good. The wine selection and prices are surprisingly good as well. Must visit location.

The employees are absolutely top notch. The produce is super fresh with a good selection. The grocery items are varied and well chosen. Requests to bring items in are taken seriously and followed up on. The meat is fantastic, some of the better steaks I've had came from there. June2020: This locally owned grocery store has been an incredible resource during really devastating times (Spring'20/covid pandemic)... Their customer service is true and heartfelt - to the community as well as the individual shopper. The butcher department has great variety and high quality all through... the deli produces some of the best tasting and freshly prepared picnic supplies (albeit picnicking at home;) and the produce aisle rivals the best farmers markets and grocers/markets. Their shelves, too, have variety and hard to find 'cooks favorites'... and yes, the music playing overhead always makes me happy!
2017- 3 years ago: So happy to have them in our "neck of the woods"... still a bit of a hike for me, ... well worth a detour!! Fresh, gorgeous produce, beautiful fish and meats, and great dairy. Love all their staff - so gracious and helpful.

Been here several times and appreciate it's quality. Not too pricey but still carefully stocked. Nice medium size market with good fruits, veggies. Opposite the crazy Costco shopping trip. Got some good wines on sale just for fun. Parking is easy. Recommend.
