We elected to move to the Bay Area during the pandemic - Shannon worked with us tirelessly via face time and in person when we could make it up north, to pick the right house for us. she has the local knowledge we needed to make the right choice. she also referred us to a real estate attorney to help understand the specifics of Proposition 19. Shannon at Harper Properties was essential to the purchase of our house. We lived in Southern California, sold our house, and wanted to buy a new home in the Bay Area asap. We were not able to fly every time a new house went on sale. We bought our house by FaceTiming with Shannon as she walked through the home. We bought the house without a personal visit. This was 2021 and the fourth time we bid on a house. Through her hard work we finally bought a house that we like better than the other three.

After buying the house we needed some upgrades—closets, installation of fans and air conditioning, many miscellaneous upgrades. Arrangement of patching and painting all of the upgrades. There were many more things too numerous to mention.

We came one time before we moved in. She arranged an opportunity to meet a cleaning lady, electrician, plumber, HVAC company, handyman, pool cleaner, etc. Most of the crew we still use.

Shannon was essential to making a stressful situation much easier.

I initially was hesitant about seeking a property manager given my past experience dealing with some bad ones as a tenant. Shannon however has turned my opinion a complete 180. She is responsive, thorough, professional, kind and easy to work with. I'm incredibly glad that I found her to help rent and manage my single family home. When I was about to move out of the house, she came by to arrange everything that needed to be repaired in preparation to rent. She finds the most economical but effective way to do things while making sure the tenants are happy. For example, I needed to install a garage door opener before renting it out - she bought one on amazon, shipped it to the house, and found a garage mechanic who was able to do a great job, all told, for less than I expected. She also put in the leg work to find reliable tenants, and made the process of renting out a house easy and stress-free. Shannon is someone who you should talk to if you are worried about finding tenants and keeping them happy. You can trust her to make the right calls for your property - she treats your place as if it's her own.

Shannon has been absolutely instrumental in our ability to rent out our home. She is an expert in project management and problem solving. We've had many issues with our home from a family of skunks living in the vents, to basement flooding and she has managed it all!
