Picked up new crank bearings and asked a few questions to help get my son's bike back on its wheels. Matt was extremely helpful and connected us to some missing pieces. We now have a complete, and as soon as we put it back together, functioning bicycle. Fantastic experience. Highly recommended. There is also a very good dirt BMX track in the adjacent public lot!

I can't speak highly enough of Gearhead. I bought an EBike here and, from test drive to maintenance, the owner has been nothing but positive,responsive, and helpful. He let me test a few different bikes before making a purchase and, after I got a blowout from running over a large shard of glass, replaced the inner tube and later the entire wheel. Every step of the way, he was personable, knowledgeable, and fast! If you're in need of a bike or any repairs, I definitely suggest this place!

Support local businesses! Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. Prices are reasonable. Tuned up my brakes recently and did an excellent job while I waited.

This is one of the best bike shops I have ever been to. Ever since I was a kid, the owner has always been a great help. Yesterday, I went in and was curious about the new Ebikes. The owner had no problem with letting me try his out. This guy knows how to run a business! and I will be back with any of mountain bike repairs/questions. Excellent business, I highly recommend!

Support your LBS! They definitely cater to my type of riding so I may be a bit biased but this is definitely my kind of shop and if they dont have something, they will order it for you in a timely manner!
They've built wheels for me (I'm a 230# guy that's tough on equipment), installed forks, built bikes and converted me to tubeless, all with a smile and on time.
Great shop, buy your stuff there cuz you never know when you might have to have a human look at your bike problem.

I don't see any reason to do business with any bicycle shop, unless it is Gearhead in Pacifica. Other shops only care about getting as much money out of you as they can. Gearhead is interested in seeing you have the best bike you can have. If the part isn't in stock, they will get it to you quickly and reasonably priced. The quality of their work and care cannot be equaled by ordinary bike shops. Do yourself a favor and get over to Gearhead when you need a bike or some work on yours.

Just bought a used bike here. It's great and they are helping me with all the minor adjustments, broken chain, seat alightment etc.
I say helping instead of helped because I'm sure I'll be back there for something soon. They are always patient and extremely helpful 😊

Gearhead Bicycles is an aptly named shop specializing in mountain bikes and BMX, though they can and will work on what you got. I have bought two bikes from them and had them service five or six others, only one which was a mountain bike.

Gearhead has now been open long enough they could start sporting an established 2003 sign. Their community commitment is demonstrated by organizing the urchins on the jump track next door eventually to be Pacifica Bike Park near Frontierland, volunteering for the Fogfest bike parking and tasking local "interns".

Staff is highly knowledgeable about the local trails and can advise you on the most efficient way to endanger yourself.

I have been going to Gearhead for a long time. They are always so helpful and knowledgeable. They know what they are doing and have a true passion for bikes. They sell bikes, rent them and repair them. Please check them out
