I have ordered three sets of couches from here and have never had a problem. The best part is you can pick your material and styles. The women in the shop were more than helpful about assisting me in picking out patterns and style of couch. They all have lasted and were delivered usually within two weeks of ordering.

Looking for a well-made, quality sofa has been quite the undertaking. With so many different stores to choose from now, along with everything online, furniture shopping is not what it used to be. Sofa Outlet was a god send. Being budget conscious shoppers, Sofa Outlet was perfect for us. Collette was such huge help. She helped us pick a sofa in the size we needed and fabric to go with my husband’s recliner. Definitely ask for Collette when you go in.

I just got the most amazing grey modern sectional from this place in San Mateo. I needed something right away. My family is coming next week to stay throughout the holiday season and the only thing I have in my house now is a loveseat. I found a floor sample sectional that was almost exactly what I was looking for. The only thing was that we weren’t looking for a sleeper, but it ended up working out that now my parents didn’t have to sleep on our old air mattress.

I came to Sofa Outlet in San Mateo to see if they could design a custom chair for me and was told that they could. They did not design the chair I wanted; they just customized an existing chair. When I went to inquire about the error, I was told that they had given me what I requested and even sent me a picture of the delivered chair, added their own writing “approved” and said that it proved that was what I had ordered. I requested a firm, cushioned back, comfortable arm rests and what I got was wood wrapped in fabric. When I asked, I was told that no cushioning is what makes something firm. I told them that when I buy a firm pillow it doesn’t mean that it has no cushion, it means that the cushion is dense. Their resolution was that I buy a chair three times the price and they would credit me most of the original price towards a new chair. This doesn’t make any sense, why would someone pay twice as much for a replacement hair when you didn’t approve or like the first one.

Dining table ordered and delivered damaged. Replacement came and was damaged again. It's been almost 10 months. Not responding to my request for a refund. Do not shop here!
