Palermo Italian Restaurant

We loved our visit to Palermo’s! The best part is that they have an extensive vegan menu, with vegan pizza and pasta dishes. Even eggplant parm! They have a huge amount of seating, including space for large groups. Great venue for wedding rehearsal or welcome dinner.

Palermo's is a great authentic Italian restaurant, a great place for dinner. The wait staff was courteous with prompt and efficient service. I had lasagna, it was delicious. They have a private parking lot across the street with an attendant. All in all a great place to visit for a great meal.

Excellent pizza!

I was alittle bias at first since I’m from Chicago but I was impressed by the pizza.

The atmosphere was to a T in terms of Italian pizzeria. I’d recommend this place as a date night or even a get together with friends or family because of the atmosphere being so nicely together.

Would come again!

Overall pretty good. The salmon was a generous portion and the pasta was really tasty. The service was plentiful and we were checked in on frequently. Staff seemed to genuinely care if we were satisfied with our experience. Only con is the space is very wide open and there was a loud and discourteous table near us.

Dinner and a hot toddy at Palermo’s restaurant. 20 minutes before closing and they still lit the fire for us and provided the best service, recommendations and ambiance and made us feel so comfortable! We love this place. The owners and waitstaff here are truly amazing! The food fresh and delicious, and it just feels magical! Big thumbs up 👍 💯❗❤

We went there for a large (100+) catered gathering, held in the back "patio," paid in full. The service was reasonably attentive, no hovering. The appetizers were tasty and plenty. The buffet that was served an hour or so post arrival and was a variety of hot foods, which I didn't have as I had my prior fill of the tasty and generous appetizers. The open bar of bottled wine selections successfully provided a convivial atmosphere, a social mixer of sorts for a large group of post funeral attendees. They were successful, both the client and the restaurant. I raise my glass to them!

Super spot. So lucky to have found this gem just around my neighbourhood. It has become our favourite date night or 'I don't feel like cooking' joint. They cook the pizza to perfection, well done and crisp, with a pungent olive oil taste present in the dough; even when reheated the next day! I absolutely love their pesto. The staff is very cordial, and they really sell the 'Sicilian' experience. Attention to details = amazing, they put out mini personal fireplaces by the tables. So cozy. Love it.

I have so many good memories of this place, many birthdays, many family meals and even romantic evenings. The food and drinks are great, the ambience is fantastic, the service is perfect with the staff always very attentive to the customer's needs.

If you want a birthday party, this is also one of the better places I know to celebrate. Enjoy the fireworks! 🙂🎇.

The place has a very cozy interior dining room with limited seating. However during the pandemic the place significantly increased its covered outdoor dining space - which was actually a huge improvement. It became one of the best places to find in San Jose during that unfortunate period. But they have kept that expansion which means there is always plenty of space for having an enjoyable time.

They have a great selection of appetizers, pastas and veals. It is hard to go wrong with any of the selections but I'll always go for one of the Burrata options and the Veal Picatta is delicious. For dessert they have a tasty selection of Italian gelatos. And for those who just want a good Italian pizza, then they have you covered 🙂

Go for the food. Enjoy the rustic and homely atmosphere. And appreciate Luicana's service with a smile. Amazing staff who make you feel welcome.

Found this gem after exploring San Jose with my husband & I am SOO GLAD I did. Once you approach the entrance, you are greeted by the most pleasant, genuine individuals who automatically make you feel comfortable. Walking to our table gave me the perfect chance to admire the warm and esthetic atmosphere; even on a hot day in late May, our dining experience was absolute bliss. And then the food came... & oh my goodness... it was QUICK and IMMACULATE!!! We were checked on by every single staff member, making sure our dining experience exceeded expectations. I cannot stress just how amazing dining here is enough. Can't wait to come back! Thank you so much!!

Palermo is a popular neighborhood gem and a “go to” location for many Silicon Valley residents. They may not know your first name but they remember your smile and treat everyone as a friend. Everything is made fresh daily and the cocktails are yummy.

Went to Palermo Italian Restaurant with my best friend for the first time recently, and it was truly an unforgettable experience! Atmosphere was quaint and cozy, the food… phenomenal! Our server Lucia (hopefully I got spelling right, lovely Brazilian girl) was so attentive and informative, it really made us feel special. I would highly recommend Palermo’s and I will definitely go back whenever I am in San Jose.

Loved this place. My waiter intentionally photo bombed my photo, then took some really great photos. The large combination pizza was amazing. A+ even for an outdoor restaurant.

First time here. Fresh food, great taste, kid friendly. Great customer service, everyone is very kind and attentive. Will stop by again.
We had bruchetta, fettuccine alfredo with chicken, lamb chops with spaghetti and meatballs, and a combination pizza.

The atmosphere is always something I enjoy here. The service is attentive and the food is delicious. I appreciate there being so many pasta options. I feel like a lot of Italian restaurants have maybe 5 or 6 options; they have 28 on the menu currently. I brought my son here for his birthday a couple months ago and we enjoyed the food so much this has become our go to place when we want to have a night out. This place would be nice for a date but is good for families as well as there is a lot of room.

Super clean and pretty. Has a great view, and the service is always really good. The food is good pasta, you can eat alot but not feel heavy and gross. Sauces are very nice and light.

Had a buffet lunch event for a family gathering. Everything was fresh,great taste and hot. Purely authentic that reminded me of the restaurants back east. Drinks were made correctly and great, wholesome conversation with the staff. Prices in line with the bay area. Will visit again.

Our first time at Palermo. A wonderful fantastico experience. Their food is authentic Italian, and so delicious. Taste like mamas homemade cooking. The best part is the service. It was very attentive, fast and super friendly big shout out to DAVIS. He’s the best. Gracie! SALUTE!!
