Pacific Pest Management

This review is long overdue. I had a termite problem on my property and called several termite companies for estimates including Pacific Pest Management.

From the start, Inspector Sandy impressed. She was on time and conducted a detailed inspection including the crawl space under the house. Although she personally inspected the crawl space, I appreciated how she used a robot camera to show me problem spots so that I didn't have to enter it myself.

The termite treatment was complicated by two factors. First, the garage had been built next to the property line on two sides so any tenting would have to go over the fence and into the neighbors' yards. Second, I wanted to move into the house as soon as possible but I didn't want to move anything in until the termite treatment was completed.

Sandy's bid was a win win. It was the most reasonable and was able to meet my aggressive timelines. She even went the extra mile by offering to speak with the neighbors to help obtain their permission to go on their properties to install the tenting over the fence.

They’re always professional and respond quickly anytime I book last minute appointments. Fairly priced too. We’ve had issues with rodents in the attic and an ant infestation at one point (I still shiver when I think about that one). Now we have them come every other month to help keep the spiders out. A few do occasionally get in, but it’s much better than before.

Angel was so helpful to me, and was happy to answer several questions that I had over the phone. A genuinely nice person, honest, and an obvious expert in the field!

We found cockroaches in our new rental house the day after moving in. The landlord sent out an exterminator who did very little, so we wanted an independent evaluation. I told Angel that we might not hire them (since the landlord should be paying for the extermination), but he came out to inspect the house anyway and advise us on a course of action, for free.

As a non-expert, it's always hard to know until later whether a service company like this did a good job. But Angel was kind and professional, and his advice squared with what I've read from other sources. I appreciate his help very much.

Angel visited my home to inspect a possible rodent issue. He told me exactly what was going on, and gave me great advice to manage it. Great options and no pressure. He was very professional, responsive, on time, and graciously called me to tell me he was on his way just like he promised. I will call Pacific Pest again if I have any additional issues. I heartily recommend Angel with Pacific Pest. You can't go wrong!

Dan and Pacific Pest Management did a great job on our house. We recommended that my mom us them as well and she was very impressed with the professional and courteous service. We wouldn’t use any other company.

Angel from Pacific Pest Management came by today to check on our wasp nest issue. He was very clear in his communication, arrived promptly and even notified me when he was nearby. He swiftly took care of the issue and gave us tips on what we need to look out for and other options. Really appreciate it! Will go with them again if we have other issues.

Angel was great. He arrived on time, did a thorough inspection of our house and created a good plan at a fair price. I will definitely work with them again!

Our experience with Pacific Pest was apparently so much different than all the other reviewers.

We hired them for rodent (rats specifically) service in the attic of our new home. Angel came to give an estimate for the job. He seemed friendly and knowledgeable so we hired them. Rat removal, setting up traps, sanitization, and replacing insulation in the attic cost $3500. There was no follow up whatsoever after the job was done (but no delay in charging my credit card right after) - I didn't even know if traps were set up, how many, what areas were plugged for access, etc. There were supposed to be two follow up visits to check traps, which were only scheduled because I followed up. The first time I followed up was because of an issue - there remained some soiled insulation and I had to ask them to come back to replace it.

It became a serious hassle trying to schedule the follow up visits. The job was done on 11/17. Prior to that, Angel couldn't even commit to the time the job will start or how long it would take. I contacted them on 11/21 to address the dirty insulation. It was then scheduled for 11/24, 10-12. At 10:30, I received a call from Signature Homes saying that they have to reschedule, 30 minutes after the appointment should have started, which I took time off work to be around for. We rescheduled for 11/30, 10-12. I also took time off that day. 11:30 and still no one shows up. I called Angel, who wasn't even aware of this appointment. He then tried to contact the contractor. Turns out the contractor was involved in a car accident... I was sorry to hear that but why wasn't I informed by the company? Angel then promised that the owner, Steve I believe, would come that day, but couldn't commit to a time... So I basically had to wait all afternoon until he showed up around 3. On 12/27, I had to follow up with Angel regarding the second visit. It was then scheduled for 12/30, 9-11. The contractor didn't show up until 10:45, and only after I asked Angel for ETA at 10:15. By this point, I was very glad to be done with the "service".

During this whole ordeal, I realized that they subcontracted out the rodent work, which is fine if they were on top of managing the service. I hired Pacific Pest for this work, if I needed to coordinate with Signature Homes myself, I would've just hired them.

I waited some time before writing this review but it's obvious I'm still upset. We had a terrible experience, one of the first really bad and stressful ones as new homeowners. Perhaps they're good for other services, just not rodents, but regardless I would not use again or recommend Pacific Pest.
