Fantastic restaurant. I was late for dinner, came just a few minutes before closure. The host was very polite and offered full menu without any restrictions.

I ordered chai, paneer butter masala, chana, tandoori roti, and laccha parantha with a side of rice. Pretty much everything tastes good. Chana and chai were the best.

We came here for our daughter’s birthday with our parents who were visiting from India. The ambience was awesome, service was prompt and courteous. Loved the food, it was really flavorful!

Chicken biryani was delicious, but the achar that came with it was even better. Very tangy and spicy. Must try the Mango lassi (ask for a thick version)

Food - What a wonderful quality meal that was which was pretty to the eyes too. We had the black pepper chicken Tikka Kabob, jaffrani Malai kofta, rumali roti, onion naan & a minty lemonade. Except the drink, everything was perfect. The drink was average & tasted like sugar syrup, would skip it next time. The chicken kabob I would say is the best I have had in the US so far - charred, juicy & tasty! Malai kofta was so rich & creamy, the rumali roti and naan were perfect accompaniments to it.

Ambience - The decor is Soo beautiful. It's modern & elegant. The indoor plants theme is such a different vibe for an Indian restaurant. Definitely I would recommend dressing up for a special dinner and clicking pics.

Service - Was quick, polite & respectful. Nothing to complain about

Alright. So now I have a new favorite Indian restaurant. 5/5. Go for the spicy chutney for that extra kick to your food (only for spicy eaters!). The staff were kind, courteous and wonderful to chat with. We had some amazing Fried Fish and Samoas for appetizers. Went with the classic lamb curry and old style butter chicken. Kheer and Gulab Jamun for dessert. Check out the pics!

I have discovered Saffron a recently and already gone back 3 times. Everything tastes absolutely incredible. It has taken Indian food and brought it to another level. Their butter chicken is to die for. My mind was absolutely blown after trying it, I had to spam my family about it because it was so delicious. I highly recommended the butter chicken, samosas, garlic naan, lamb curry, and honestly everything.

Nice place to dine , music is good and service is good, price is on higher side , but over all it’s good experience, food is not so spicy

Saffron is a very nice Indian restaurant in downtown San Carlos. They have great service and helpful wait staff, excellent decor and very tasty food. Although their menu is light on options & the portion sizes are relatively small, the quality of food is great.

I recently ate at Saffron, and really enjoyed the food. They have excellent north Indian food. Everything was delicious, especially the tandoori starters and the butter chicken.

Nice Indian place in San Carlos. The cheese naan was really good as well as the chole bhature. The chicken and samosas were delicious too. The service was amazing and whatever he recommended was on point. Over all wonderful food experience.

Great food and ambience .. the weakest was the biryani. Every other dish, was great from the appetizers to all the desserts. The mango drinks were great :)

What a pleasant coincidence! I came to San Carlos on a business trip and stumbled upon this magnificent Indian restaurant. The food, service, hospitality, and price is extraordinary. I will be back with my loved ones.

Amazing food, very tasty, nice plating, nice service and nice ambience. Tried out General Tso's Cauliflower, Malai Kofta and Garlic Naan. Asked to make the items spicy and it was made really spicy. Appreciate it very much. All the items were very tasty

Went there to celebrate a friend’s birthday. The place is nice for fine dining and has good interiors. Food was fresh and tasted delicious. They also gave a special dessert to celebrate the birthday.
