Very nice market, I found a lot of things from my country that were hard to find in any other store. If you are from Eastern Europe you kinda feel like at home there. Found a lot of Russian, Polish , Bulgarian, Lithuanian, Ukrainian and even Dutch products, visit there made me happy and a bit home sick. Recommend!

It was ok, did not find what I wanted. Bought this instead!
Another visit- very disappointed. Sour cream - passed expiration date, cottage cheese, obviously was frozen before, Ryazhenka- bot edible at all, very sour, candy Ptich'e moloko probably expired long time ago, were hard instead of soft inside.
On a bright side, Georgian wine was great.

This place is a gem. 🧡 today i went in and bought ajvar, sour cherry tea, sprats, kefir, head cheese, eastern European black bread made entirely from rye flour (no wheat), Finnish rye crackers, sour cabbage, and a bottle of cherry liqueur bitters.

I didn't need anything from the deli, but i have bought cabbage rolls and sliced deli meats from it before. I've never been disappointed here.

They are an excellent Eastern European grocery store. The food is fresh and the prices are reasonable. They are attentive even when you use English only. They have most of the Polish foods we like. Their only weakness is that they don't carry as wide a variety of pastries as we'd like.

Favorite store with Eastern European foods on this side of the Bay. The staff is always so nice. It's small but the selection is just right. I'm always able to find what I'm looking for.

They have by far the best selection of Eastern European foods in the South Bay. Not only Russian, but also Polish; and they declare their support to Ukraine.

Good store with both Russian, Belarussian, and Polish products. There is a good selection of sugary foods and also Black Sea fish.

Always enjoy shopping here. Other reviews are calling this place “Russian” — it’s not. Read the sign! SLAVIC SHOP. They have groceries for all of us Slavic peoples :)

Would love to see more Balkan options. They do have Ajvar, though! 🇭🇷

Very friendly employees. Good assortment of the Russian, Ukrainian and other European food as well as hard-to-find liquors, vines and beer. They have all you need for a home holiday evening.

Had a great experience here during COVID— felt very safe with all staff in masks, dispensing hand sanitizer at the door, and only letting in 5 people at a time. I was worried since it’s a small shop, but they were super helpful and even helped carry out my box of purchases out to my car. The food is an excellent selection of all I miss from home (Poland)— teas, jams, makowiec, polędwica, and the ever-elusive white cheese (many brands of it in fact).

They have lots of European products but I especially love the fact that they have Eastern European wines, a pretty good selection in fact. They sell meats and diary as well. The prices are good, the quality is great.

This place is a godsend if you need traditional Slavic groceries, like sheep cheese or pickles. Or poppy seeds. Will definitely be back. The staff speaks English and Russian (and maybe some other languages), they accept cards but have a minimum amount for card transactions.

Very polite and helpful ladies. They have amazing pirogi with apples and great variety of spices, cottage cheese, sausages etc

Good selection of East European foods. Not a big selection of bread though. But other than that they have everything - beers, spirits, diary, sausages - all like back in Europe.

Great selection of polish, Russian and Europeans products ... awesome chocolate, tea, candies etc. love love love this store :) I drive there from south San Jose for polish ketchup, seasoning, teas and sweets. Great store and owner too :)

Great source for all things Slavic (satisfies Czech food cravings). Profits from all Russia-sourced goods go to Ukrainian relief… a nice touch.

If you are looking for authentic Russian food, this is your place. They have a deli section with cold cut meats, homemade sauerkraut, Russian hard candy and chocolate and much more.

Only just moved in to the San Jose so for me to find lots of polish products and fresh bread and meat was great. Will definitely be doing my shopping there as it makes me feel very homely
