All the staff was very friendly and made lots of extra efforts to help my shy dog feel more comfortable. I was VERY impressed with how patient the Veterinarian was with my extremely long backstory and all my concerns. He spent so much extra time listening and addressing all my numerous questions and worries. I did not feel rushed about making decisions. The doctor was very helpful and skilled with explaining my dog’s complicated medical situation so that I have an accurate understanding of all the layers. I lucked out that this wonderful office had next day appointments. I love all the exceptional veterinarians in my area but unfortunately (and understandably) with the vet shortage in Hollister, the appointments are weeks out. I was very worried about my old guy so I made the trek to Scotts Valley to have him seen right away. The large sign out front made the driveway easy to spot. I arrived a bit early, and appreciated the little outdoor nature area with a bench to hang out with my dog and to give him time to relax and use the restroom before heading into the comfortable lobby. There was a very sweet office cat who kept me company when my dog was having tests run in the back. There was also a terrarium that had frogs that were fun to watch while waiting. I don’t know how long the office is offering the yelp special but I was SO grateful to be able to get the 20% off discount that I saw on yelp. They also offer a discount for seniors.

We love this amazing team! I recently took in my cat for neutering. The team did an amazing job with his care. He is doing great and recovering perfectly! Thank you!

This is a good clinic. Make sure you bring cash, check or debit card. They charge a % for credit. Also, ask for senior discount.

Really superb experience and do not over diagnose our pet needs. Honest and quality are Dr Arnold’s best attributes. 5 stars all the way!

Really great people here! We’ve brought all our animals here and they’ve taken good care of them. We had to put our dog down, which is a very sad experience, but they were so compassionate, helpful and empathetic through the process. I will always appreciate their support.

It us honestly hard to encapsulate my experience in words, because not enough words will do. Simply put, this is the greatest vet office I have ever been too. The love and care they show each patient is incredible. To the point where my dog Gibbs LOVES each visit. Gets excited and howls as we enter the parking lot. Truly an incredible place!

Great experience! The staff and Dr. Moreno were very welcoming and helpful. Dr. Moreno is very knowledgeable and clear with her evaluation. I liked her common sense answers and I felt that I wasn't being over charged. I'm grateful for being referred to Valley Oak Vet Clinic...salt of the earth care.

Great veterinary clinic. Staff is super friendly and my dog did not freak out, win win. Doctor Walsh was who I saw and she was very nice and thorough and have good suggestions. We are moving to this clinic from harbor vet since we live in Scotts Valley now.

Dr Moreno and Dr Arnold always go above and beyond with love and care for animals. Extremely knowledgeable and professional. The entire staff at Valley Oak are a pleasure to deal with.

When it came time to send Cody over the Rainbow Bridge, Dr. Moreno provided as smooth a transition as humanly possible. The entire staff followed up with a sympathy card including personal, heartfelt comments.
I believe for them, it isn't just a career, it's a calling.
