We have never been more impressed with a veterinary group than we have with Dr. McConnell and his amazing staff. They have helped us so much with our large Labradoodle (100lbs). As a dog mom, I would be lost without the expertise and experience that both Dr. McConnell and his staff have. Our dog loves to go to the vet (yes, loves it!!) because it means he gets to see his favorite person - the vet! To be able to say that is such a blessing. Dr. McConnell is not only smart, but he’s gentle, attentive, and truly cares about the well-being of your animals. I cannot say enough about how grateful I am that we have found this vet clinic, and I highly recommend them for any of your pets needs. I will always trust them to take the best care of my fur baby.

Amazing Pet Whisperer! Dr Ty has a true gift; so obvious that he is devoted to caring for all pets. Been going to this practice for years with many dogs. My old chihuahua was attacked this afternoon; they saw us right away and were so kind and caring for dog and human. This is an exceptional doctor and staff. Highly recommend!

Ty McConnell is an amazing vet!!! He has been our families vet for over 20 years now and we’ve never had a complaint. Ty has taken great care of our families Cats and Dogs over the years at a very affordable cost. Ty is AWESOME

Thank you McConnell Vet! Ty and his staff are always so friendly, comforting and accommodating. They are gentle and patient with all of my dogs. He takes the time to carefully examine and properly diagnose at every visit. His staff makes sure to promptly remind us of any upcoming appointments, necessary vaccinations and fits us in sometimes even on the same day of calling! We have always felt very cared for here and hope their office is around forever. Ty is extremely experienced and clearly loves what he does. We have been using Ty McConnell, since 2010 at the recommendation of my in-laws, aunts, friends etc, when looking for a Vet that would come to your home.  Dr. McConnell and his staff have been nothing but amazing, since then.  They have been with us through all the ups and low low downs, that pet parents have to go through.  They have gone above in beyond when things have been urgent, Dr. McConnell even met us on Saturday when our beloved cat had to unexpectedly cross the rainbow bridge.  We had an emergency situation come up this past spring and Dr. McConnell and Kelly worked with us to help set up a payment plan for the unexpected cost, always helping and advising us on the fee and costs.  Every time I call, they are always, so cheery and happy, know our "kids" names right off the top of their head.   We cannot recommend Dr. McConnell or his amazing office staff enough.  Thank you for all that you do!  -The Victorino Family

Knowledgeable and compassionate vet. Minimally invasive. Took great care managing chronic health issues with my senior cat up until his passing, and has been so helpful with several unfortunate foxtail incidents over the summer with my dog. Staff is wonderful and very kind. Prices are very reasonable. Would recommend to anyone.

I'm so happy I found McConnell Vet! I finally feel like my doggies (aka my babies, my everything) are under good care. Dr. McConnell and his staff are great with my dogs and me and really make me feel confident my babies will be in good hands. I have had some terrible experiences with other vets in the area and this clinic is a breath of fresh air. And their prices are too! Every bit makes my often 45 min+ drive to/from their clinic worth it. One pup recently had surgery and they have been so amazing through the whole process with me and Max. And I've waiting so long to get their teeth cleaned because of the exxorbanant prices some vets charge and the horror stories. Not any longer! It's so nice to see my doggies pearly whites and fresh smelling breath for once! Thank you Ty and team. ❤

My husband and I started bringing our animals to Dr. McConnell in 2018 when we moved to the SC Mountains. At the time we had three senior dogs and one of them has a VERY complicated medical history. His office was able to offer us the type of care and support our animals needed and still need today. Dr. McConnell is a wise and seasoned doctor with an intelligent and kind staff. He is practical, the billing is always fair, and I trust this practice one hundred percent. They love their patients and were there for us every step of the way when our Standard Poodle passed. We are always grateful for their loving compassion and how hard they work to serve the community. We couldn't imagine going anywhere else!

Best team for our pets. We have been loyal fans of Dr Ty and his staff for years. After trying several other vets in the area my groomer turned us on to McConnell Veterinary Services. Not only do they go above and beyond with their caring service (I'm talking to you, Kelly) but Dr. Ty has diagnosed issues quickly and accurately where other vets failed. They are reasonably priced and avoid excessive tests that seem to be popular with the profit first clinics. Couldn't be happier with the treatment we receive from Ty and his team. Well worth the drive from Aptos. Highly recommend.

I absolutely love McConnell Vet!! They are so compassionate for their patients. I have had nothing but wonderful experiences. Kelly is always so wonderful with answering any little questions I have and is always so kind with my sweet baby Freya. I have recommended McConnell to anyone who asks where to take their fur baby and I will continue to do so.

Dr. McConnell has be my veterinarian for over 30 years. To say the least, we've been through it all with him. Dr. McConnell is intelligent, intuitive, has vast experience and is extremely compassionate; I trust him completely with my animal's care.

McConnell Veterinary Service staff are wonderful, kind and compassionate folks that have always made me (and my dogs) feel welcome and comfortable. Communication is clear and the billing process is easy and flexible. Additionally, the staff takes the time to inform me about rebate programs to help off set the prescription fees. Prescriptions refills are easily and questions for the staff or doctor are address in a timely way. Dr. McConnell, Kelly, Charlyn and Diana are professionals and have always treated me and my pets with dignity and respect. I'm grateful for all that they do.

I can not say enough about the amazing Staff at McConnell Vet! Dr Ty McConnell treats my pets as if they are his own. It is hard to find a hospital that is so responsive and caring. Everyone in the clinic goes above and beyond. I am so thankful for the love and care they give my fur babies 🐶🐶🐱🐱

I wish I could have found Dr. McConnell sooner as I wish all my pets could’ve had the amazing care he gives. Dr. McConnell is not only sweet and kind, but he is also extremely knowledgeable and has years of experience in his field. It’s hard to find someone who cares about your fur babies as much as you do, but Dr. McConnell does. My dog runs into the vet office every time we go and he’s always so excited to see all the wonderful staff as well. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my best friends life!!!!

I could not be more thrilled with Dr. McConnell! I went away to college and brought Skipper with me and while we were away we were seen by another vet. This vet gave my Skipper the incorrect dosage which resulted in him getting extremely sick. I brought him back to Dr. McConnell and showed him the records as to what we had done and he said that the dosage that was given to Skipper was too high. This wasn’t the first time Doctor has saved Skipper-he did again when Skipper got cancer! I found a mass on Skipper and Doctor was able to remove the whole mass including the area around it. He’s the reason why Skipper continues to be Cancer Free! Doctor and his lovely staff have all been there throughout the years providing the upmost care and have just been a joy to call because they’re all upbeat! When my little guys kidneys started to fail, Kelly got emotional just talking to me about it. That’s how much Doctor and his lovely staff LOVE doing this-for them it’s not work it’s a LOVE for the people but more importantly the members of their household that they care about most! I’ve always asked Doctor for his opinion and he has NEVER let me down! All of this and more is the reason why I continue to go back to Doctor and have recommended him to so many of my friends!
It also doesn’t hurt that his prices are reasonable!

I have had many visits with Dr. McConnell and staff. I have always had a great experience they treat me and my pets so kindly. The office and staff really work hard to make it the best experience possible. I am very thankful because it is hard when pets are ill. Even through covid they managed to treat pets never letting us down. Thank you so much.

Dr. McConnell and Team are amazing! The nicest and most professional veterinary care you could ask for. I've been with them for 14 years caring for our two Labrador Retrievers. They listen and provide prompt accurate solutions.
