High Meadow Vista Point

Great walk with a very nice view at the top. My 5 yr old boy made it and as for my little 3 yr old, let's say my legs were feeling it the next day after carrying her. Keep an eye out for 1 way trails to promote social distancing.

Excellent views from this vista point. You need to take the Wild Cat loop trail to come here (the longer one). There are a couple of places you can exit the wild cat loop trail and go back to the entrance but this is a bit longer one and the views are really nice. You can find deers running along with you in the trail! Fun run if its not raining!

this sanctuary is made for walking and running. in winter it is picturesque and it is not hot to go upstairs. at the end of the journey, at the top, you can see the city in all its glory and the mountains in the distance. and the air is so fresh that you don’t want to leave and you freeze from the moment of that happiness that I’m here now and all this belongs to me, even if for a moment ...

Tree lined ridges tower behind the vista point, which provides a beautiful view over Mountain View and SF Bay. Oaks dominate here, though the occasional Eucalyptus dwarfs them in size. Close to car parking and easily accessible the vista is part of an extensive trail network popular for various activities.

Ha, why am I not surprised to be asked for this review? Rancho San Antonio is a wonderful, if crowded gem. And the High Meadow Vista is always a stop on a hike. With a wonderful view and located at a nexus of awesome trails, it's a must-stop pinnacle for every trip.

Great place for trailing with family and friends. Be an early bird to get a parking slot.

Carry water and some cookies for energy.

Please take some rest before attempting slopes if you feel tired.

Really well maintained trail. Has a small petting zoo farm for families to visit and learn about farm animals. It can be crowded but keep going on the trail and crowds fall away.

Beautiful area, many different trails, lots of wildlife including chipmunk, squirrels, rabbits, quail, deer and more!

If you are in for a 10k run with a beginner level elevation, there are really nice tracks for it.
