As a visitor, I was drawn to the many positive reviews and the cute & clever pun of the name. And from just the outside posters, I immediately felt exquisite autistic joy being in their space - as a neuroqueer slash autistic parent, as an ex goth, and anarchist slash activist the space was tremendously appealing. It also felt like a safe inviting space for the unhoused.

Sprinkled with humor (that I understood and appreciated), a snicker at the stickers, awe at the zines and books to alternatives to the mainstream.

The barista was both patient and kind with my nervous eye-contact avoidance - I asked them for a suggestion, and the coffee they handcrafted tasted AMAZING. I am unable to remember what the drink was but their suggestion was absolutely perfect and on point. Thank you ao much for the amazing drink and this space!

The iced latte I had here was very good. Nice place to check out if you are in downtown Olympia.

I got an iced “Morticia,” it was delicious! Excited to come back and try other flavors. I really like the vibes and the theme. I wish I like hot drinks because then I could get the skull in the foam :,) the drink was a tea latte with clove. It tasted like smoke but in a really interesting and good way. The prices were good and the staff is nice. They’re only doing door service at the time I went there.

Absolutely loved this place. Ambiance was unique, macabre, and welcoming. Lots of well distanced space for working, games, or relaxing. The coffee/tea list is extensive with a ton of original drinks to match any mood or personality. We left our drinks up to our coffee guide and with a few words of guidance we got two amazing drinks that weren't even on the menu but were delicious, multi layered, refreshing, and hit the spot. Highly recommend stopping in to experience.

The staff were very kind and our drinks tasted as good as they looked!
The interior is funky and cute and we felt very safe and comfortable spending time there with our daughter. A lot of crunchy queer goth vibes.
Unlike other places that have stated COVID protection policies, they seemed to actually care about it, and checked our cards which most places don't bother doing.

So many coffee and tea beverage available. If you have a hard time making decisions, just ask the cashier or barista for recommendation. I got a floral coffee drink with rose and orange, and liked it a lot. It was subtly floral, not too sweet, and I can still taste the coffee. They have some interesting tea and milk tea too!

I loved this little cafe, it reminded me of the places I miss from the 1990s in Austin, in a good way. A good selection of random books, and LGBT+ positive vibes.

I used to go here every artswalk with my friend who has since passed and we would always get a grave robber. Today I went in and asked if they still had it and the person working said they had taken it off the menu but they made an acception and made me a grave robber. I know it seemed like a small gesture but it meant the absolute world to me I sat by the lake and it felt like my friend was there with me. This has always been my favorite coffee shop but this experience has been the best coffee shop experience I ever had. Thank you so much

Over 400 different espresso drinks, as well as tea, tea lattes, fizzies, hot cocoas, steamers, and italian sodas, so there is definitely sometjing to fit any palate. Almost every drink is either vegan by default or can be made vegan, they have vegan pastries and bagels daily, and get vegan donuts on the weekend.

A hub of activity for students and activists, with the best stocked coffeeshop library in the South Sound.

The staff is focused on that kind of engaged, personally invested, egalitarian service experience that can make Olympia businesses so rewarding to participate in.

Primarily run by LGBT folks and about half the staff are people of color, and they have signage specifying this as a Safer Space. They have two specially designed Accessibilty Tables. Condoms and tampons freely available from the county. The staff and the shop are heavily engaged in underhoused advocacy projects.

The atmosphere is low-key and relaxed with a skeleton-centric Punky Leftist Gamer Goth aesthetic.

Oh man this was absolutely wonderful I can’t wait to come in here on a cold day to try the hot drinks. I had the Persephone and it was absolutely divine. 100% would recommend to a friend! My friend had a Morticia and her drink was really good too, I’ll have to get one next time I come in

Very Olympia-like atmosphere. Gothic theme with skulls and pretty funny menu names. I personally love it, and the drinks are amazing. The baristas are super chill and manage things really well. This is a good place to study if you don't mind background noise.

We had REALLY good coffee! I got the black morpheus and my sister got the persephone and they both were really well done - perfect shots and milk and the combination of flavors were subtle yet worked great together. I loved the community aspect of the space and that Burial Grounds displays what they stand for - inclusion and connection. Would love to come back and try all the different specialty drinks.

Great late night place to just relax. I brought a book and found a big comfy chair to hang out for a few hours with a couple coffees. No one bugged me, coffee was so yummy (I highly recommend the F*** this S*** a lavendar infused dark chocolate honey drink), I was really surprised to feel that comfy enough outside of my house to actually be able to relax and focus on a book without feeling weird or out of place, bonus that a late night didn't have to be out drinking.

Very unique awesome dark/witchy/gothy little coffee shop. If you are offended by curse words or things like that...this may not be the place for you...The coffee was awesome and the music was great. They cater to vegan and non vegans alike. And they are very inclusive of all people.

Amazing local coffee digs that really knows how to brew. Really clean with a great atmosphere where you can rock out or read a book, I love their mini library. If you haven't been here you need to check it out and support them. The picture was a skull but I had to have my first sip. 😍
