Anchors Fish and Chips and Seafood Grill

Stopped in by chance for lunch, being that their sign caught my attention. I’ve been craving a good fish and chips spot for sometime. I saw that they had good reviews and decided I’d try them out. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The food arrived fairly quickly and fresh which was a huge bonus. I ordered the fish and chips combo plate with a cod fillet, huge jumbo shrimp, fried oysters, and scallops. All the seafood definitely was fresh and cooked right. Definitely will return with family to sample some dinner options when I’m nearby next time.

There were a lot of options on the menu that I did not expect to see here. I could not decide between a lobster roll or the crab fries. I landed on the crab fries and was very happy with this delectable treat. Good fries with a lot of tasty crab meat loaded with cheese and sauce. I definitely want to try the crab roll next. Grab a beer from one of the bars near by to pair nicely with your seafood. Parking was pretty rough her so we ended up parking in a paid lot. That’s downtown for ya.

Service was prompt and friendly. Atmosphere was quiet and laid back.
Clam chowders was delicious and chunky. Cod fish was light, the teriyaki scallops was surprisingly good. The mango lemonade was refreshing and cool. Overall, the meal was satisfying.

Fish and chips is good, but my piece was too much batter, and too few fish inside.

The menu has great selection probably need couple of more visits to figure out their best stuff

I walked in to this cute atmosphere name of restaurant Anchors. There menu looked so good I kinda wanted to order everything lol If you love seafood this is the place to go. I order the Alaskan Cod and the cheesy sour dough bread with crab meat and oh my god just melted in your mouth. Now the fish in chips hands down the best I have tasted by far. Customer service was excellent very clean. I would most definitely recommend this place to anyone and the prices are great and well worth it.. Definitely 5 stars 🤩🤩.

First time going to this place, service was excellent, food was very tasty and nice looking, we were greeted right away and they took our order within 5 minutes, place looks neat, is not big but the patio looks nice! After covid many places closed down and is really hard to find restaurants like this one, we look forward to have dinner again at this restaurant!!!!

Amazing, crispy fish and chips in hefty portions. Extensive menu of other options. Beer and wine available to drink. Friendly and efficient service that is not in your face (that's how I like it). Conveniently located on Meridian Ave.

Food was good. Batter light and flaky. Fish flaky. Fries seasoned. Clam chowder has clams. All in all great flavorful. Price to quantity not comparable.

Ordered on line and picked up within 10 minutes. Food was hot and delicious! The combination Louis was as good and fresh as any restaurant on Fisherman’s Wharf in Monterey. A side dish of vegetables was crisp tender and tasty. But the best of all was the garlic bread. Have I died and gone to heaven! The same for the shrimp pasta. My new favorite seafood restaurant.

Great place in the intersection of willow and meridian. Great fish and chips with an option of halibut fish. Tap beer! Tuna melt with an option of chips, salad or soup.

Food is consistent and seafood fast and casual is not easy to find. Prices are high considering the casual environment. Recommend for a solid chowder and fish and chips.

Delicious and fresh seafood - have had the shrimp rice bowl, fish & chips, salmon rice bowl, fish tacos, oysters Rockefeller, crab cakes, and their amazing cheesy crab bread. Everything I've had has been fresh and tasty.

Update: decided to move to the healthier side of the menu - I had the snapper & hubs had the trout. Both were fresh and well cooked. I had the roasted veg side and he got the tomatoes (which are amazing - little tomatoes marinated with basil & maybe a bit of olive oil) - all very good 🥰

My wife and I stopped by for a quick bite. We ordered Fish and chips, calamari and some Kumamoto oysters. The food was very tasty and whatever batter they use is delicious! Service was great! Very attentive! OH! and they serve beer on tap and wine!

Had the fish & chips, little greasy but very tasty. Fries also have great flavor. Clam chowder is thick, loved it. Kids had mac & cheese and they liked it. Wife had prawns with linguini, she also enjoyed her meal. Service was good, definitely be back for the chowder.

Hot fresh fish is what I had& let me tell you, I could not eat it all and I'm just speaking about the fish only. It came with fries, cole slaw, and the most awesome tarter sauce of which one serving is not enough for such generous sizes of the fish. This place tops all the fish places I've tried so far because of the portion sizes, the tarter sauce, prices& friendly staff. It's restaurant quality in a strip mall. I live in Marin County and I will be returning because it's worth the trip💯👍❤🎏🐟🍤🦐🐙
