We live this place!
It is so peaceful! The turkeys are out this morning strutting their stuff, too! We are on a lupin hunt today. They are just starting to bloom. Next week will be great!

Lovely place for nice & easy hiking. I more challenging trail for those who want a fabulous view.

We had an amazing time going on the trails. It was a challenge to choose between looking where I was putting my feet and the amazing views around every bend. For reference, I'm in my 50's and over-weight, but we still did the climb all the way to the top of the mountain. It was an intense workout. I suggest bringing a walking stick and a partner.

A very peaceful place.
Get some fresh air, see the horses.
Sit by the pond with the geese.
Chill out.

Nice easy trails, plenty of wildlife all around the park, the Ranch House is not open regularly due to a shortage of docents.

Great day, great little hike, sweeping views and even a surprise tree swing!

A fun place to come on a walk. There are a variety of trails at different levels, but we like the short loop which has interpretive signs about local ecology and isn't too hilly. The short loop and the lawn near the ranch house are good places for young children as well, especially if they like watching horses. The turnoff from the road and the driveway into the parking lot are a bit treacherous, so be prepared to go off road slightly, especially if you need to pass someone. We were totally fine in our small car though

Great loop trails. They are a little steep, but the views are well worth it and there are plenty of overlooks with benches to rest. The trails are well maintained and the various ecosystems you walk through in such a short time is the real jem of the park

Amazing trail that feels you visited Arizona, Colorado, among other places all within one path. Mainly flat so if you're looking for a challenge probably not for you but if you're into visual beauty it's one of the best hikes I've seen out here

Wonderful hiking trails through hills and meadows, redwoods and oaks and madrone trees. Amazing wildflowers in the spring. There's also a great interpretive museum in the ranch house.

Great place to take the family for a hike. The trials are well maintained and the place offers a variety of trials to meet the needs of all levels of hikers. There is ample parking as well.
If hiking isn't your flavor, the long driveway offers a huge wide open space which I found is perfect for flying drones.
There are a few horses kept in the rear as well. Their living conditions leave a bit to be desired so the animal lover in me usually brings some carrots to feed them. They have always been super chill horses who will let you pet them even without a carrot.
There are almost always deer grazing somewhere in the vicinity, although feeding them is all but impossible (and kinda frowned upon anyways).
By far the best part is the place seems to be a bit of local secret so its never swarming with out-of-towners.
