Nadereh Varamini, MD - Stanford Medicine Children's Health

Dr Varamini is the best pediatrician we had for our son. Not only we love her, but also our son loves his visits with her. She’s very knowledgeable, professional, compassionate and has a way to connect with kids. Dr Varamini is very caring and provides holistic check-ups from health and growth to providing tips and educating parents regarding feeding, discipline and even potty training. She’s very respectful of our time and manages her schedule very accurately. We appreciate her and her team of support a lot.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Varamini My kids have seen her since they were babies. They are teenagers now.. We have dealt with everything from minor illnesses to life-threatening illnesses and long term hospitalizations. I had an incident one time where my son was misdiagnosed at good Samaritan Hospital and Dr. Varamini quickly caught the mistake and potentially saved his life by calling the hospital and getting him admitted. I trust her completely and am very grateful to have found her. We have seen Dr. Hays and the nurse practitioners in the office over the years as well and all are great. We love Norma the medical assistant too she’s an angel.

We come to Dr. Varamini from a very bad experience with another provider. She has been caring for my daughter for the past year and we have been at ease since we switched to her care. She is very knowledgeable and have a great bed side manner when it comes to my child. She always answers my questions and concerns with patience. She is very thorough when it comes to my chart messages and always provides me with options to make my child at ease when she is sick. Not to mention the practice is very clean and staff are very friendly. Each exam room is decorated with a theme, which makes the visits more fun for the kids and easier to make them entertained while waiting to be visited.

Dr.Varamini is such a blessing, we are so grateful for having her as my son's pediatrician and our upcoming baby. She is very knowledgeable and thorough during visits. The baby book she put together has great information, her responses to my chart messages are also very prompt and detailed.
She takes time and answers all our questions, I like the way she always thanks parents and grandparents for raising the child, this behavior is very motivational for me and my parents, which I have not seen any where else.

Both of my kids have been patients of Dr. Varamini for many years and I can say she is amazing doctor! She always spend a good amount of time to discuss the problem and paid attention to the details. The staff in the office was polite and helpful with any questions we might have. I would definitely recommend Dr.Varamini!

OMG, those negative reviews are so shocking to me! This must be a mistake! I wish Dr. Varamini was my doctor when I was a child:) I've never met such a caring, knowledgable, and thoughtful doctor as she is. My son graduated from her care as he is over 22 now but my daughter is still a patient of Dr. Varamini. Doctor's diagnosis is always accurate and are made in a timely manner. She spends a lot of time to gather information, discuss any concerns, and answer all the question we have for her. It is always done in a clam manner with plenty of explanations. I am an extremely nervous Mom and Dr. Varamini always finds a way to bring my worries down and this alone means so much to me! Thank you Dr. Varamini for your knowledge, positivity, and an unmatched professionalism in pediatric care!
PS. Norma, Dr. Varamini's nurse, is also an extremely kind person with great bedside manners. Always patients and compassionate. Simply can not recommend them enough!!!

Dr. Varamini has been caring for my 3 kids for 15 years! She is an incredible doctor. She diagnosed my daughter with a thyroid disease by taking urgent action just by feeling an enlarged thyroid during a normal check up. She has always been there for us and I feel like I can express any concern I have, and she will always listen. If you want a doctor who cares deeply for her patients, It’s Dr. Varamini and her support team.

Doctor Veramini and her staff provide the best care.for my son, she thorough and accurate in her diagnosis, she listens to patient concerns and provides recommendations and responses for the best course of action.

Dr. Varamini is an excellent doctor that was always there for my son when we needed help. Very caring, attention to all the details and always follows up after our appointments.

We’ve been visiting Dr Varamini for over a year now usually for my toddler’s normal check ups, but also for same-day urgent visits. She’s been very professional and explains about her diagnosis and provide options if available.

$10 for a signature to get my child's school form signed. I mean...really? Google says that medical records can not be charges more than 50 cents per page, but I just simply needed a signature of the form that I have filled out myself, not even a printed page from them. Cheap and low...

My daughter was a patient of Dr Varamini in 2004-2006. I brought her in for a visit after we discovered she had been cutting herself. To our surprise the doctor told us not to worry that it was a fad that was going around and that my daughter seemed fine.
My daughter continued down a dangerous path till she was properly diagnosed with bipolar disorder, that was 4 years later😩😩
If only Dr Varamini would have correctly diagnosed my daughter or at least referred us to a psychiatrist would have saved my daughter and our family so much pain.

Let me start by saying that she is not a doctor but money making machine as she does not care about her patients at all and only cares about the money. She has forgotten the pledge she took about taking care of the kids. Her treatment is horrible with most of the time the wrong diagnosis. The doctor and her staff are very mean and rude and she is always late. her attitude reminded me of socialist hospitals in India where doctors acted like gods. She also feels very comfortable giving unsolicited advice, which may be OK to some, but with her "attitude", becomes very irritating. We realized this in time and ended our relationship immediately. Will not recommend her at all as she is rude and cares more about her financial benefit than the actual well-being of the children.

Awful patient service! My experience with her was terrible during the year she was seeing my newborn. We always wait a long, and it looks like she doesn't care about other people's time. The last time we visited her when we asked why it took over an hour for her to visit us, she started yelling at us. She said there is no doctor's appointment without waiting; she was yelling and screaming at us about her being right to be late for over half an hour when my son was watching and was scared of her behavior. She is always late and will not spend over 5 minutes with my kids during a check-up. That shows how arrogant she is with her patients and parents. seeing her is neither helpful nor informative. It is always pretty short.
Other than her, everyone in her office is rude and unprofessional like they know there won't be any consequence for being rude to the patients. they, collectively, are rude, short, and dismissive about really anything you're calling for. I actually dread having to call their office knowing that I'll be met with the most sarcastic and rude attitudes. Please take your time to do more research and find a better doctor for your kids.
