The Twisted Pig Bar and Grill

Went in due to the reviews and had to try out this local spot.
Immediately greeted, and within a few minutes, we had menus, drinks ordered, and assurance that this would be a good spot.
Lunch was served, no issues. Service was great except eventually she got us our waters (but we had our beers, so no worries ).

All in all, we were surprised 😮 with the service, and the food was delicious.

Love this place. Been going for years. Never disappointed with the food and drinks I get from here. Recently, I got the buffalo wings and salad. It made me happy.

My friends got a tri tip dip and one other sandwich, can't remember the name. Sorry! They both enjoyed them. THE TOTS, are on point. I had to take a few from my friend.

There's plenty of beers to pick from and I'm glad they have a stout on tap. The holiday drinks were really good too. We got the mistletoe monitor for round 1 and one of the shooters for round 2. (I think the name had reindeer in it)

First time at this spot. Everything we ordered tasted amazing. Definitely, we are coming back when I'm in the area.

We heard this place was excellent and it proved to be even better! The staff was awesome. We tried a little bit of everything.. the absolute best ribs I've ever had! They fell off the bone and the blueberry BBQ sauce was superb with just a hint of sweet blueberries and a spicy base. The tri-tip sandwich was delicious. The pork belly came with a spicy garlic chili sauce that my friend loved (a bit too spicy for me.) The pulled pork tacos were delicious, with the pulled pork just as tender as the ribs. And yes, absolutely I agree with the review that caused me to order them, the garlic tots are the bomb!

I came here for the first time for brunch with friends and it was pretty good! I tried "The Hangover" and it tasted great.

The food is amazing, the plates looks just like their instagram pictures… the buffet is a little spicy for those who can like spice. The dessert was my favorite, brownie sundae with bacon, AMAZING…

Me and my daughter went to the Twisted Pig great Atmosphere the service was above and beyond waitress Candice check on us consistently our drinks stayed full I post reviews so they make an impact ... The food was fresh and so so good I ordered the tri tip dip only concern was that the Au Jus dip was a little watered down but not enough of an impact to drop my 5 stars to 4 !!! Great place must try shout-out to Candice on EXCELLENT SERVICE !!!

I have been dining here for a few years now, and I have never been disappointed by the food. Small hidden gems like this are so awesome to come across. I would recommend to anyone looking for some great BBQ, or possibly a hamburger that isn’t from a chain restaurant.

We had a great experience here. Dog friendly, kid friendly we were looking for a place to take the family after a walk/hike. Bailey was our waitress and she was so very friendly we especially appreciate her kindness with our autistic son, she gave him her attention and time when he wanted to chat very sweet! She's a gem! Definitely will be back.

Great service, amazing food. What more could you ask for? 😊 P.S. the cheese curds and the mac daddy were to die for! 😋 All was delicious!

Nice dog friendly place. The service here was excellent. Nikki was super helpful, she asked the chef if he could make a sandwich we wanted vegetarian. We forgot our leftovers and she got it out to us. She was so friendly to our dog.

Get the Belly Bombs and thank me later. They are crisp, rendered pork belly strips over a bed of spring greens - but the real hero is the sauce. It’s bright, acidic, a little kick and all the flavor.

Rude customer service! (( UPDATED REVIEW ATTACH TO THE BOTTOM))

I came to this place to order food to go as I have been here before due to a company appreciation party and food was good. Hence the return to the establishment.

I asked to do a to go order and the server rudely told me she couldn’t help me since I am doing a to go order and direct me to try with the bar tender. She ended up taking someone else’s order right in front of me while I waited to place an order with the bar tender. Their food even came out faster than my order with the bar tender.

The bar tender was nice in the beginning but when it came to paying for my bill in which I asked her nicely using my manners to do so. All of a sudden she consider me an inconvenience to her as she stared me down with her eyes. She then leaned forward with her ear towards me in which I took it as to repeat myself because she didn’t catch what I said and so I did. She said that she heard me and needed to wait while she did her job. She had no problem chatting it up with the rest of the guest at the bar talking about how she got a cold drink waiting for her once she got home.

- I could have taken my food and walked off without paying because no one was paying attention.

*The chef was the only nice person working that night and brought my order out to me. Cool dude.

I order the twisted Mac with tri tip which honestly was okay. It could have used a few other condiments to perfect it. Perhaps bacon, green onion, heavy whipping cream.

Awesome tots which were really good.

I also order another side of just Mac and cheese which was suppose to be only $2 but instead was charged another twisted Mac for $12.50

Receipt $63.30 is mine and the second receipt is one I found on the internet for how much they charged for a side of Mac and cheese.

5/16/23 An Updated Five Star Review.

I spoke with one of the owners from Twisted Pig and had a warm and good conversation in regards of a previous review I made.

I placed an order via telephone today with a women who was happy to take my order and repeated it back for accuracy.

I went back to twisted pig and ordered quite a few things for myself and the family that included ( Boarshetta, Awesome Tots, The Dip Tip, The Conquerer Slides)

Twisted Pig did not disappoint when it comes for making an impression on new consumers and returning consumers. The atmosphere upon arrival gave all the vibes of positive social gatherings, openness, and big smiles all across the room.

Boarshetta: very bomb with a toasted bread pull pork topped with a special drizzle sauce that executed it to perfection.

Boss burger: a wild combination with beef, pull pork and bacon with a secret sauce that would make you salivate out of your mouth with each bite. Definitely
a favorite.

I strongly recommend Twisted Pig for those who are hungry, want a positive social environment and plenty of amazing food options to choose from.

Had the best experience!! A nice simple atmosphere. A wide array of delicious menu items. With so much to choose from I had no choice but to make a commitment with my boyfriend; anytime we come back to Modesto (we live in Atwater) this is my destination of choice for food!!
We started with 2 draft beer Batsquatch for me and a DD214 for my boyfriend. Cheese curds to start. No picture we were starving from Christmas shopping. Then ultimately we decided to go for the New Pig's Prized Den (I think🤔🤔). De-effin-licious. I must try if you want a bbq theme with more than you could hope for menu choices.
We will be back for more!!

Love this spot for their unique drinks, homey atmosphere, good music, and delicious eats! Coming on the days that Candace is bartending makes for an absolute treat. There are also lighter fare options which can be a surprise since the name entails 🐖.

Great place to eat, have a drink and some nights listen to some great local talent with music. Our server Molly, went above and beyond the call with our service. It made my birthday weekend that much better. She had the whole place singing Happy Birthday to me ..I will definitely be back ... Check it out, I promise it won't disappoint....

My mom and I absolutely love this place the music the food everything is great im 100% coming back and its inexpensive for such a good amount of really good food our server was Jessica b 11/10.

Celebrated 2nd anniversary at Twisted Pig. Relaxed fun atmosphere. Good food. Did I mention the Bloody Mary? If not, let me mention it!! And big shout out to Griffin. Very attentive and pleasant. Definitely, we will go back.

Friendly place great people and awesome customer service food was delicious and well cooked. I had a the salmon plate just perfect not over cooked And prices are very reasonable must stop by and try it out they also have karaoke night.
