Best group fitness gym on the planet, it couldn't get better!
I regret not knowing this earlier, I had to leave it after two months due to my job change to another country.

Great workouts, you don't feel the time, but by the end of it, you will be properly worked out that you feel great hunger and you will sleep like a baby that night.

Effortless but high impact workouts, thanks to the coaching staff and the carefully designed CrossFit format.

Nicest CrossFit gym I’ve ever been to. Very friendly staff and coaches! If you are in the area or just visiting I highly suggest you drop in!

This is a fantastic gym with great coaches and people to workout with! This is a great fit for people of all fitness levels. The coaches are great at scaling workouts to your skill and fitness levels, and they'll help you further develop your skills and fitness as well. I'd recommend the NCFIT as a community for anyone!

NCFIT is my happy place. If you're a beginner looking for consistency. This is your home. Coaches are excellent, focused and give personal attention to your form and motivate you. If you just show up and do the said workout diligently, it's going to be great for you. PS : I never miss a booked class, because I look forward to it.

A very good place for people of all levels
Pros:
1. Trainers are very committed and friendly
2. Workouts are well structured and the trainer demonstrates every workout before you do it. And they also give extra attention to beginners in a class which is nice.
3. There is a class every 30 mins during peak hours.
4. showers , towel service and lockers available for no extra charge
Cons:
Nothing major

I HIGHLY recommend NorCal Crossfit. After a single workout you'll see why. The coaches are knowledgeable and energetic, focusing on proper technique and encouraging everyone. I've visited multiple times and am always welcomed like a permanent member. They embody the community spirit of CrossFit by not hassling visitors for a drop-in fee. You won't be disappointed.

At NCFit, it is my first time doing functional training. The trainers are extremely friendly, total experts in coaching me to learn the movements, and push the entire class to get in a great workout every time. I usually attend the NCX class, which focusses on a 50/50 split, with the first half of the class focussing on strength building, and the second half of the class focussing on metabolic conditioning. I definitely feel it is the best combination of building strength, muscle, and making my overall health better. Within a couple weeks, I was hooked, attending 5 times a week. A big shout out to Coaches Frankie, Emily, and Margaux who are the absolute best. If you're thinking about trying something in the cross fit realm, definitely check this place out!

I have been at ncfit from their old location on El Camino near Baskin Robbins. Khalifa is a great athlete and owns this CrossFit gym. The coaches are simply amazing and supportive and this is where my daughter started CrossFit and now coaches at a CrossFit gym in LA. The coaching staff is always tailoring the exercises according to your needs and ensure a safe environment to workout and bring the best out of you. Highly recommend.

Alex and the crew are excellent. They have great workouts programming, and they scale it down for all types. They're really good coaches and put a lot of effort into making sure everyone is keeping the right form during workouts and no one gets hurt whenever we're dealing with heavy weights. Definitely one of the best CFs in NorCal!

The community itself is also very cheery and encouraging. They organize a lot of get togethers and activities on the weekends.

I joined two months ago, and I've had a great experience. I've had gym memberships and personal trainers before, but NCFit's class format is a lot more fun and it's a heck of a full-body workout. The trainers are, without exception, all friendly, knowledgable, and helpful. The workouts are tough most days, but the trainers are very good about scaling intensity to match your current level. You'll never be asked to do something you simply can't do. After two months going 3 days per week, I am a lot stronger and I just feel better in general. Highly recommended.

I will always be grateful for the NCFIT Mountain View gym. It was a place that saved me during a difficult period of transition in my life and I'm sad to be leaving it due to a job change that takes me out of the area.

The coaches are diverse and each have a unique, positive personality that they contribute to members, while also having strong relationships among themselves. They show they care through their enthusiasm, happiness to see you and watchful eye during complex movements. While the class sizes can get big, they often have 2 coaches on the floor and somehow manage to execute the classes smoothly while paying attention to individual movement quality. The coaches themselves compete in CrossFit, are insanely fit, practice mindfulness and nutrition practices, and themselves do the programmed workouts. They walk the talk and this is really important for members to see in their coaches. They are funny, knowledgeable, approachable, kind, and actively promote community between the members.

The member mix is a good sampling of general people of all levels working out and some athletes who are really impressive - just enough to be inspiring but not intimidating to someone new to CrossFit.

The programming is excellent. It is comprehensive, managing to cover classic CrossFit (benchmark and named workouts), strength, Olympic Weightlifting, aerobic capacity, interval weight training, gymnastics skillwork, recovery/blood flow, functional body building, and some classic body building. One can see that there is a long term design built around benchmark tests that makes logical sense and helps an individual work on progress in an area, rather than just going to do some random workout that crushes you for no reason. For example, a variety of clean and jerk based workouts over the span of weeks, leading up to retesting "Grace". Or a 1 mile test followed by weeks of programming in which running is a component of an interval weight training AMRAP, and an eventual 1 mile retest. Programming around the Open seemed tailored to challenge your engine or maintain your fitness, depending on how you wanted to go about the Open, with active recovery workouts programmed for Thursday and the Open workout programmed as the Friday workout. The programming for the weekend is generally a tough, volume-heavy partner workout, named workout or something you could take at an easier pace, particularly if it follows a more intense, heavy week of training. The programming is thoughtful and intelligent, and I'm considering buying it to do on my own at my next gym.

Also, the warm-ups are a combination of movements tailored to each workout, and are therefore different for every class. This reflects the thoughtful intention behind preparing the body with movement specific warm-ups. This level of attention to detail and intent is really impressive.

The weightlifting coaching is as good as you can get in a group class setting. I have received many helpful observations, cues, and suggestions that have helped me understand how I was moving my body, or given me greater awareness around the mechanics of the snatch / clean and jerk / squat / deadlift.

Lastly, the front desk staff are warm and friendly, taking care of that all important first moment a member walks in the door, and that last moment when you walk out and they say goodbye.

Couldn't ask for a better gym. I started a year ago and have enjoyed steady improvement all year long. Great coaches who teach when you need it, push when you need it and share incredible knowledge. Highly recommended.
