City Sports Club

I'm in my 70s, and joined City Sports Club. I felt the need for a trainer. I've been working with Thomas and have made good progress with his guidance. He explains the machines, works with building muscle strength and is concerned for my overall improvement. I enjoy the staff at City Sports . The club is clean and well maintained.

I joined in the beginning. I've had ups and downs triggered through family chronic stress. However, I found my focus as it was the staff who helped me to realize a major awakening of truth had me thinking every time stress rised. "Learning to accept what I can't control & start focusing on self" and I actually went on to lose 42 pounds and counting.
It's priceless to care and share.

Great energy in this place. The staff and members help me to feel energized, focused and positive which all helps motivate me in my fitness building. And size reduction, hopefully heh heh.

Cleanliness, when I'm working hard and breathing deep, it's very important. I'm pleased with how clean the gym consistently is, including the women's bathroom, Amen? Yes, I'm grateful.

Used my Active & Fit guest pass to check this place out and I was actually very impressed. The staff is SUPER friendly, huge space for a gym with lots of equipment for everyone to use. Doesn't feel cluttered and the atmosphere is peaceful. 10/10 recommend.

I and my husband have been going to City Sports Club since January of this year. So far, I have been very satisfied with my experience in the gym. They have the latest exercise machines and equipments. Its cleanliness is well-maintained; the staff is very nice and friendly. I would sometimes bring my daughter to the Kids Club, and the staff there is very engaging, patient, and caring. Christian, the gym's personal training director, was very professional and thorough in conducting my personal fitness assessment; and he eventually was able to convince me to sign up for their personal training program. I am also very lucky to have Jeriel, as my personal trainer/fitness coach. He is very encouraging and fun to work with. Jeriel has helped me become stronger and healthier. The City Sports Club community in Vallejo is non-judgmental and supportive. I love going there and I definitely recommend this gym to anyone who wants to reach their fitness and health goals in enjoyable and sustainable ways!

Great! The gym is large and clean Locker room and bathroom are nice and clean.. lots of equipment. People are nice. The staff is nice and helpful. Location great.

Very clean bathrooms, showers, clean pool even after kid's class, great Zumba trainers!

I love this place because it feels like home.

As a current fat person dealing with fat person things, I realized that I needed to go to the gym. So, I went to the gym and got a personal trainer - Coach Thomas D. - and thanks to his hard work and patience, I lost around 27lbs in a span of 3-4 months.

Also, the equipment here is a lot more than some City Sports I'd been to. The restrooms are also cleaner. They have Disney XD and other fun channels compared to the other gyms. But they don't have my favorite bike here, so I guess that's my only grievance.

Weekends are the best days to work out if you're into free weights.

Very nice gym, a bit crowded with younger folks, But what makes this worth while is my trainer THOMAS (COACH)

After being in Law enforcement & Military (10+ yrs) this is the BEST I have been challenged in a while. Thomas is patient with his clients and willing to work with your schedule. Even if you are not having a session he will go out of his way to assist you in your workouts. Positive attitude/Energy throughout the day and genuinely loves what he does.

His collogues are very friendly as well. I couldn't ask for a better trainer than THOMAS. Definitely would recommend him to my friends/family

Excellent gym that offers a very good selection of equipment. I have been working with Thomas D, one of their personal trainers. He’s been extremely helpful and is a great guy.

I am a male in my 60s and have not been to a gym for many years. I had an extremely weak core and very little muscle strength . I joined the gym 3 months ago and my personal trainer is Thomas and he is amazing. He is firm but patient and he takes his training very seriously. Now my core strength is great and my muscles are becoming toned and well defined. Most importantly, having Thomas as a trainer...I am not worried about hurting myself. I recommend this gym highly and their trainer Thomas.

Just such an amazing gym, so much to offer, very clean, lots of variety. Everything u could need in a gym. When im in there I dont feel like im in Vallejo. Truly the best addition to the neighborhood

I go here to swim regularly. The pool sometimes in the midday can be too hot but it is clean. This gym doesn't appear to have a sauna or steam room which sucks but all the equipment is new, the staff is friendly, it's really easy check in and the place is huge

I just joined this new gym in Vallejo and am very happy with the results. I was given a tour a couple weeks ago from their associate LJ Swolls and felt that this is the place to restart my workout routine. Very clean and safe environment with a great choice of cardio and weight training machines. I've lost 5 lbs in the 1st week and will continue to be a member of this gym. Ken Sarna recommends City Sport Gym in Vallejo!

Shout out to the janitor it's the same dude everyday I'm there no matter what time he's always cleaning. It's a nice wide open gym with plenty of equipment.

The only complaint I have is there's only one seated row machine so it's almost impossible to get on it
