The Counter

Handicapped friendly, absolutely clean and welcoming ambience. Staff was attentive and efficient. Food was absolutely wonderful. Not only did it look just like it came out of a magazine, but it tasted as great as it looks. Pics no filter. Will be back again. Even packing it was clean.

Louis was great! Burgers are tasty for the right price. Love the atmosphere. Got seated immediately our server Louis explained the menu and he took care of us from beginning to end. Bar drinks were delicious. Will be back! Suggest you stop by and get a real burger not a fast food patty.

First time we visited. Staff was welcoming and very helpful. We wanted for nothing. The burger was amazing and the chili was to die for. The shoestring fries could have been served a little hotter but other than that it is going to be one of my favorites.

For the last 5+ years I enjoyed the occasional trip to the Counter, mostly for two reasons. First, the paddies are always cooked as ordered no matter of medium-rare, medium or well-done. Never had a bad experience. Second, it is just fun to build a burger and try out different combinations. If building your own is not something you enjoy then there might be more cost-efficient alternatives out there.

Great burgers - base price is $13 and you can add on a lot of things, some premiere toppings cost more but other toppings were free. Tried the vegan patty and it was good. Tiramisu shake was nice too if you have a sweet tooth. Great service

Our veggie burger was excellent along with crispy onion rings and fries. The customer service was great, our waiter was very patient and helped us with ordering the burger. The burger toppings were also delicious.

Dining here is always pleasant and delicious. I love their bison burgers, cooked to medium doneness. Their sweet potato fries are the best! And The Counter is always gluten- and allergy-friendly. My friends and I all created our own burgers, and everyone was happy! Service was a little slow at first. No one took our drink order, and we had to order food at the same time. No big deal. We were fine. And to those who complain about the automatic 20% tip... really? That's standard, and helps ensure servers get what they deserve! I'll be back soon!

Came here about a month ago and unfortunately their kitchen was extremely backed up, and we had a movie to catch - so they couldnt get the food out in time. I had already paid on my phone though, and they never actually refunded me. I called a couple times to follow up on the refund; but the manager never actually followed through on it.

BIG shoutout to Lucy though! On the 4th time I called she happened to answer and was extremely helpful and apologetic. She event went out of her way to figure out how to perform the full refund herself and took care of it within an hour of me calling. This lady needs a raise, she alone has fixed the image I had built of this location - thanks again Lucy!

Love love LOVE the burgers at The Counter! And they have the best shoestring fries in the area, hands down. Service is always prompt and friendly, and the seating is comfortable.

Excellent service and the food was fresh,their servers are better than any other restaurants I've been.peyton is the best. Highly recommend it.

Favorite place to grab some “create your own burger”
They have quite some vegetarian/vegan option. The vegan veggie patty is delicious. You can build your burger with bun or on mixed greens. They have the most amazing sauces and toppings option. The bread selection is also great.
The sweet potato fries are delicious and must try.

Always a great experience here. I think it’s great that they charge a 20% service charge that is optional. This allows every employee to get a bonus.

Pleasantly surprised this visit. Burger was well cooked and generous toppings. Fries were pretty good (but the fried onions were better) and I liked the chipotle aioli. Very nice service at this location.

Been here a couple times. Both times I created my own salad, during lunch time. Here’s the product of that. Both were absolutely delicious. My husband tried one of their classic burgers and said it was great. They appeared to have a decent selection of beer too. The restaurant has a cool vibe to it and has awesome roll back garage windows. It’s just a cool spot to grab a burger and a beer. Or in my case a salad and a water.

Can be crowded but totally worth it. Burgers are delicious, they also have a good choice of draft beers. Approx 18/20 $ for burger + fries.

Burgers are awesome. Offer a huge variety of toppings for the "Make your own Burger" Always have had quick and friendly service.

The Impossible Burger was what I came for. Plant-based food never came this close to “just like meat”! Besides, the ability to create your own burger with a splurge of options to choose from made my interesting and rewarding experiment also a great, very satisfying meal.

Long wait at 9pm in a not busy restaurant. Inattentive host didn't offer menus during the wait to clean table, forgot we were a party of 5. Excellent burgers.
2024 lunch update: much improved service. Immediate seating, menus, and well timed return to take orders.
