Shoup Park

Beautiful small park. There's a path to Redwood Grove, so you get 2 parks!
The stream is flowing strong after the rains!
There are a couple of play structures for kids. It's dog friendly. Restrooms, and rec center for events.

Excellent infrastructure for kids with activities like outdoor play in water springs and cycling and climbing
Good shades due to huge redwood trees surrounding .
Benches and areas for picnics with barbecue grills and stroller friendly.
Good toilet facilities as well
Good free parking.

A perfect destination for parents of small kids. There are two play structures with sand for soft landing. The structure inside is for older kids. There is a huge grass oval, perfect for picnics. On the back right of the park is a statue of a veteran, worth reflecting on. If your kids are older, take the across the road to the redwood Grove to see some truly magnificent trees.

Great park for kids! This park is great, took my niece and nephew there (twice in as many days it was so fun). There are two play structures at the park, lots of benches and shade for the younger ones. A small stream is flowing right now due to the recent rains and it completely captivated my nephew. There are restrooms (although we didn't go in), and the park is dog friendly.

Oh my oh my, IT WAS amazing! It is really clean and everyone was friendly. Lots of GREENERY and playgrounds with barbecue places around 6- 7 of them were there! There are statues too! Little kids had so ooo much fun would highly recommend to come!!!!

This park is great! It has two playground areas: one for smaller kids (0-3) and another one for older ones (3-6). The park is mostly in the shade and surrounded by red woods, which is great for hosting birthday parties or a picnic day. The park has toilets and shared grill places. If you are lucky the creek right next to the park will have enough water for the kids to play with. Definitely recommend it for families of all ages.

This is a wonderful place for picnic and just a short walk with children. There are two playgrounds and a sand area for kiddos. Although it's very visited, it's easy to find parking here. A lot of shadow and plenty of benches and spots to enjoy. I loved it!

Love this park so clean. Lots of moms and kids. Great place to walk your dog. Seems like everyone cleans up after themselves and pets. Over all great park.

It's great for picnics and play dates. This park does get crowded even in the middle of the day during weekdays. It's small but very cute and clean.

Loved this park and the awesome statue. The park is super clean with water fountains and bathroom that are open even during the pandemic. The trails are enough to enjoy the redwoods and get your blood flowing.

Shoup Park is a great park in Los Altos. Amenities such as bathrooms are available and seem to be kept clean at all times. Parking is available and plentiful.

It has two playground areas - one for 2-5 year olds and the other for older kids. Both playgrounds are close to each other. In the 2-5 year old playground area - there is a sand pit with two diggers that you can play with as well as as a see-saw. There are many seats around the small children playground as well as picnic table. In the older playground, just around the corner, you have higher and taller slides and monkey bars.

Shoup Park also boasts a creek nearby and is great for water play. So, bring along your rain boots. Seats and picnic tables line around the walkway. Shoup Park also connects to the Redwood Grove just down the block.

Beautiful park among a new growth redwood Grove with a nice creek for kids to play in. A great place for a family outing, party or just a nice walk.

Lovely park with toilets. Areas can be reserved as well for private functions, which we were part of. If you are making a private reservation, it's worth checking if others are doing the same, for parking availability.

We love the two toddler friendly play structures, the creek nearby and the little trail that goes to the redwoods.

Couple of parking areas, if filled you will need to find street parking.

Can walk in to nearby Redwood Grove nature preserve (no parking there however just adjacent to Shoup park)

Been going there since I was young. Great place to picnic with friends and family.

This park is surrounded by redwoods. Has a couple of play areas for kids of different ages . A beautiful stream flows nearby . Has restrooms and a hiking trail nearby. Los Altos downtown is super close . A very nice way to spend mornings and evenings with kids

Great park , with lots of redwoods providing shade, a beautiful grassy area and two options of playgrounds (older and younger kids). It has clean bathrooms and a parking lot.
