This store is amazing! I brought in a chair that needed a part and I had multiple staff helping me with my issue. They were extremely friendly and had a ton of nice inventory in the store too!

Its bigger on the inside than it is on the outside! Very homely and helpful people running this store--some of the sweetest staff ever!

Their inventory is astounding, great variety of tools and knickknacks here for your project needs.

Henry keeps a huge range of items, and has a great depth of knowledge about how they are used, which he likes to share. Great local resource. Even better since it reorganized

As a local General Contractor the staff are very knowledgeable and has a wide verity of hardware and supplies for most any projects. If they don’t have it, they can try and find it for you.

The staff here is always very helpful and knowledgeable. I use this store almost exclusively for buying tools and supplies for work (facilities manager) when I need to see it physically before buying or am in a pinch where I need it immediately. The have always been accommodating; including special ordering items and tools for me. It's awesome to be able to support a local store like this one and not have to resort to the big box stores.

The owner and the staff are very knowledgeable and always willing to help. Today I needed a metric bolt and nut and wasn't sure of the correct length. The owner sent me off with two lengths and only charged me for one. This is service above and beyond.

No doubt that anytime I can buy what I need from LAH I will avoid the big box home improvement centers and buy local.

This place Rock !! Right in the heart of los Altos,small store but you can find anything you need.the employees are the Best they really look to help you.its just a family feeling love all of them great service thank you guys for you excellent work.

This is the world's best hardware store, with the nicest, most helpful, knowledgeable and patient people working here ever. They always listen to what I need to accomplish and give me lots of great options, ideas or solutions. They never make me feel rushed, even when I'm butchering an explanation of what my problems are. They also carry the greatest high quality products that last and are always highly recommended by other sources. I am so glad I live near this hardware store, but now having discovered it, honestly even if I moved 20 miles away, I'd drive to come here instead of any other place.

Just wanted to give great feedback for this store, as I am in here a few times a week for parts and help with various small jobs. I manage a hotel and these guys have helped us fix every problem from plumbing to electrical with great enthusiasm. They have a ton of staff on site and a huge store of parts tools and products. Keep up the great work!

This is a great tiny hardware store. It's packed to the ceiling, well organized and a very helpful staff. A good alternative to the warehouse stores if you want to get a few things without walking miles. Not too pricey, for Los Altos.

Very efficient guys and fairly priced key cloning service. Also has lots of other things you might need for your do it at home project. Definitely my first choice for any of my hardware needs. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff too.

The staff makes it amazing, but this tiny looking shop from the outside packs a lot in. I've not had a problem finding what I needed and I've been here a lot. I'm always surprised with how they can have such a wide selection!

It helps that they are so close to anyone around Los Altos, you don't have to go all the way to Cupertino or Sunnyvale to get what you need. If they weren't here, I would probably be getting things from Amazon. Thank you folks for making it an awesome experience!

This is an amazing neighborhood hardware store. The people work there are friendly and they are knowledgeable. I’ve brought in parts to replace and they find the replacements in no time at all.

I'm always surprised how much they can pack into this little store. I can often find things in this store that aren't available at the big box stores. And their prices are spot on, so you get the best of both worlds. Their staff is awesome and always asking if they can help. And they have answers, something the big box stores just can't offer.

The workers are always super pleasant and helpful which makes for a great shopping experience every single time!!

Service is outstanding!
Every time I go there, I am asked if I need help finding something. All the staff are friendly and helpful and they always have what I need. It's not the largest store in the world but they seem to have it all.

This neighborhood hardware store is top notch for excellent service and very helpful staff. I’ve been here many times and have never been disappointed. It’s not a massive superstore but they’ve always had what I might be looking for and often go the extra mile to help out as needed - like cutting a board for no charge or assisting with loading the truck. Five stars all the way.

My favorite hardware store in the area. I skip the one in Mountain View and come here. The service and selection is about 5 times better. The staff is super friendly and knowledge. I host went in today and now they have chics for backyard chicken coops. Yard to keep them is an additional charge ;)

Our favorite hardware store due to customer service and breath of high quality inventory. Prices may not always be lowest but over many years we have never a defective or poorly functioning item purchased there as has happened with purchases from other hardware stores. Easy in and out with dedicated parking.
