Crowne Plaza Palo Alto, an IHG Hotel

Staying here for few nights to relax after long day doing tourist activities and so far so good. Breakfast service was exceptional and the guys on the front desk was phenomenal. He was courteous, kind and very accommodating.

Hotel is a little dated and property owners should def renovate it, but overall a great experience. Shout out to Ron in front desk for friendly and superb customer service!

Was here for a conference, nice large rooms. Good food. Professional staff too. Great place for a conference, very large. And location is great,close to everything.

Very impressed and happy with our 5 night stay. Front desk staff, bar staff, housekeeping; everyone was very helpful, sincere and professional. We stay at least 60 nights a year in hotels and this stay was easily in our top five. Only complaint is the shower curtain, needs to be updated or replaced.

Comfy, killer views, great location. No lunch in the restaurant. Pricey but hey, this is Palo Alto folks. Great staff.

I loved it here. Not too far from SFO airport about a 29 min drive. Me and my father stayed in a two bed room queen size. Room was very nicely kept clean. We stayed for three nights. Every time we went somewhere and came back our beds were made nice again. Bathroom was cleaned and towels restored. My favorite part of the room was the ironing board and the iron. What a Godsend. We went to church while there and to a funeral so the ironing board and iron was so nice to have. Staff there is so nice and friendly especially Bethy, she was working the front desk. Checked us in when we caught there. Suggested places to eat and stores near us. Took care of us daily even until we left. Lot of good places to eat near this place. One we went to which was so awesome was LnLs Hawaiin BBQ which stays open until 3am and open every day which was suggested to us by Bethy. I look forward to coming back to this hotel next time we are in town.

For the price point, this is a wonderful hotel. The pool is one of a kind. A great place to host parties and seminars. A true hidden gem. The staff is friendly, the housekeeping is very good. The rooms are what you pay for, there may be drawbacks but again, the price point. The pros outweigh the cons. The presidential suite is a decent price with plenty of space, and a huge jacuzzi. The whirlpool suites are great. You may find some flaws with the pool, but it's decades old and in great shape considering. This is one of the best places to stay in Palo Alto.

Ask and ye shall receive. The staff lives up to the 4 star hotel rating. One can only hope they can maintain this level of service through this pandemic.

This is a hidden gem! We booked from out of state and chose this hotel for the ratings and their professional attention to cleanliness. The front desk staff was so helpful! My boyfriend had to take a college final for an online course and forgot some sheets and a calculator. The front desk helped print what he needs from the business center and let him borrow a calculator for his exam! The room and bathroom were so cute! Only issue was the tv connection quality at night but it was better in the morning. The bed was AMAZING. Everything so clean. Hope we come to town again so we can stay here! Forgot the names of the front desk staff that helped us but we felt like this was a 5 star hotel with how kind and attentive the staff was!

Place is very nice. My room was great and breakfast was nice.

Enjoyed every minute of our stay. The rooms are clean and well decorated. The food was good for breakfast and the staff was EXCEPTIONAL!!! The service is really what puts this hotel over the top. The location is also great, we got to San Francisco and other cities easily.

We really enjoyed this place. Well kept, clean, with a very friendly staff. BETH at the front desk was awesome and Christine in the restaurant went out of her way to give us great service. And the food at the restaurant was both delicious and reasonably priced. At about $150 per night, this hotel is a good value.

Nice place to stay. Our room was nice. Xmas decorations were great. Staff was friendly and helpful. They brought us a microwave to heat up some food along with some extra towel. They also switched our room to one with double beds so we didn't have to use a cot. Hot tub was great but the pool was really cold. I guess it's a good way to start your heart. Breakfast staff was really helpful, food was good, but a little pricey. They served a smorgasbord style breakfast along with stuff from the menu. Restrauant was spacious and clean. Exercise room was nice. We enjoyed the sauna also. Available park was a little scarce. I'd stay again for sure.

Comfortable beds and pillows. If you are lucky, you will get a balcony. Pool area is huge with a nice jacuzzi.

A really nice hotel for a great price! Everything was great. When we found out that the breakfast we paid for only served 2 people, the staff working there said to not worry about it and that they'd take care of it even though the extra breakfast amounted to about $36. A wonderful hotel, highly recommend!

This hotel was very nice. They had a very nice looking restaraunt and patio area. They also had a lounge area where we waited to check in since we arrived early. The room was very clean and spacious. We got the king sized bed and it was very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious. The location was on a major street but actually located far enough from the traffic so we were not bothered by noise at all. Overall the service was great. They also had a self service checkout with drinks, snacks, and some toiletries. I would stay here again.

It's dated yes but budget friendly. There is parking and additional parking in the back . There are rooms that are inside the and rooms that are partially outside but there is stone fencing that if you want to see your car in the parking lot you can do so. Staff is great and if you want high class hotel to match your buying power go for the Four seasons. But if decide to stay at the Crowne Plaza with good people. It's near freeways which cradles between Los Altos, Palo Alto, Stanford, Menlo Park ,Mountain view very fun communities with fun things to do. Just have an open mind and be adventurous lots of different restaurants and fruit stand down the street. I stayed there and also rented the cabana on hot summer days we had a blast.

Cousin had outdoor wedding here. The staff were very professional and nice, always masked indoors and outdoors. The rooms were clean and comfortable, esp the beds. Actually the beds were super comfy. Highly recommend this hotel.

Second time here as the photographer for a graduation event put on by Latino Business Action Network and the host staff are always on point. The food is amazing as well... I haven't had prime rib as good as this in a long time.

I stayed here with many people for a conference. The breakfast was good and had lots of options to choose from. There are many conference rooms available for meetings and the like, with various sized tables available. This is a comfortable cozy hotel with good sized rooms. Appliance rentals were available for those that didn’t get a room with them, and there was a mini store for late night snacks. The seating and spiral staircase are beautiful. The hotel has plenty of space to host events and lots of parking for guests and busses. Part of the hotel is indoors and part of it is outdoors, and there are different style rooms in each. A grand piano in the main foyer provides a wonderful sound and is open to anyone to play. You can hear some lovely notes as people stop by. Overall a good place to stay.

The Crowne Plaza in Palo Alto was a wonderful place to stay. My husband had surgery at Stanford so we chose the hotel based on proximity to the hospital. They offer a discounted rate if you are at Stanford hospital (call ahead and let them know), the restaurant is very good, breakfast buffet is awesome and the room service is excellent. We had a quiet room at the back of the hotel and very comfortable bedding for restful sleep after the hospital stay. The entire staff was friendly and extremely helpful and kind. They even had a wheelchair for our use as it was too far for my husband to walk after being discharged. They are also ideally located for anything you might need - pharmacy, restaurants, etc. I highly recommend them!
