I enjoyed shopping at this low waste store. They have a good selection of products you can use to lower your carbon footprint. The staff was very helpful, kind, fun, and believe in what the store sells. They have a refillery; bring your own bottle and fill up on cleaners, shampoos, etc. Small store doing big things.

This place is the best way to minimize the amount of plastic you waste. You can get all kinds of products in bulk like laundry detergent, dish soap and lotion, and they also sell bar shampoo, and beauty and skin care products among other things. I didn't even know I could get plastic free floss until I went there!

My #1 favorite shop for all toiletries and home cleaning! The staff is always so sweet and helpful. Last week I accidentally left some items at the counter and Sam, the manager, was kind enough to email me and let me know. I came back and was so happy to find it there where I left it. Also you can’t go wrong with anything in the bulk section! My skin and hair has never been happier since switching to their natural products

Love this shop! Friendly crew, and the shop has a bunch of different things from beauty products to household products. Would highly recommend! Love the area it’s located, and can’t wait for them to open in DT Los Gatos.

Loved this cute zero waste shop! A little pricey, but there were definitely cool finds. I got their cruelty free lipstick and I've been wearing it everyday since :)

Zero Shop staff was great!!! The people working were very nice and easy to talk to. The selection of items for reducing plastic waste was incredible and it looks like they have some more exciting things in the works. It is very exciting to have a great new shop in the village that is doing good things for the community and environment.

Love that I have a store dedicated to zero-waste. There are so many options that it becomes easy to kick plastic to the curve. It is a little expensive but it’s worth it for me.

This company is amazing. I live in Denver, CO and have been looking for good toothpaste tab for a few years now. Ethos is my go to. Their customer service is AMAZING as well. In my last order, I received a smaller amount than ordered and they IMMEDIATELY responded and send me a whole new pack. Couldn't recommend more.

Beautiful store with great products and great service! The recycling bins brought me in the first time - they have bins to recycle things that aren't accepted in the SC County recycling system. The products keep me coming back - they're top quality and prices are on par with other shops online so I shop here to support a great local business. Thanks for being part of our community!

Ethos is a zero-waste shop in Downtown Capitola. It gets a mix of curious tourists and dedicated eco-friendly regulars. We loved it so much the first time as tourists that now we keep coming back and even brought our own jars to refill.

We came with a list, the girl working today noticed and was super encouraging and helpful, she answered any questions we had and helped us navigate the variety of products they carry. The girl did offer to custom order anything they didn't already carry for us too, as my wife is pregnant and they don't have a large baby / mommy section yet (but they're working on it).

This was also our first time bringing our own jars to fill up and using their FillJoy system. I had a blast using it as it's really intuitive. It lived up to its name.

We have visited a few times now and it's always been a fun place to shop, feels good knowing we're being more eco-friendly and zero waste. They have never been pushy about why or preachy, and they simply stand behind the products they carry.

Ethos is my favorite shop in the Santa Cruz area! I have been dreaming of having access to a zero waste store for years, and am so happy that such a wonderful thing has manifested in my community. The Ethos staff are always so welcoming, helpful, and informative! I rely on Ethos for my shampoo bars, laundry detergent, and razor blades : )

My favorite store in Santa Cruz! Ethos has hit the mark for birthday presents, Christmases, baby showers, and thank you gifts. Everything I've bought for myself has been fabulous and functional. The owner and employees trial all the products so they give great advice! Favorite products: shampoo bars, frisbee from recycled fishing nets, block of dish soap, cute whale wax wrap.

The shop is absolutely beautiful, the staff is super friendly, and every thing is curated to perfection. Every time I go, I have to stop myself from buying everything in the store! The focus on local/sustainable goods is also a major plus.

Every product I’ve purchased has been top quality. It’s comforting to know that I don’t have to do all the research on whether an item is sustainably sourced. I can count on the Ethos staff to have done that homework. It’s a lovely place to shop, too.

Welcoming, and knowledgeable staff! It is always a pleasant visit even if I don't always find what I'm looking for. From sunscreen, to toilet cleaning supplies, and cards. They do their best to have the all the essentials.

I was so pleased to find this gem in downtown capitola, selling products that I believe in. Everything is designed to be reusable and refillable. This is the way the future needs to be. I did my part by buying a stack of washable facial cloths. They have all kinds of refillable items like CBD oil, laundry detergent, body lotion and more

After spending the afternoon relaxing on the beach it was time to wander the shops of Capitola, so glad I stumbled across The Zero Shop, a lovely shop full of products so you have zero waste.

There girls were very friendly and helpful.
