Linda’s Seabreeze is the cutest, perfect diner. I’ve been going here for years, and they impress each time. From orange poppyseed pancakes to incredible pepper hashes. One of my favorite specials was a rosemary sweet corn buckwheat pancake. Incredibly fast service. Way too delicious food. Whenever my family visits, they beg to go to Linda’s. This cafe will always hold a special spot in my heart.

Cash only, but there’s an ATM. Write your name on the list for the weekend rushes.

Loved this little breakfast spot! Great food, excellent staff (everyone was happy and friendly!), and it was quaint inside with good, shaded outdoor seating.
We had 2 omelette’s and the eggs over easy with bacon & home-style potatoes. The cinnamon roll tasted home made, the side of potato’s with sour cream was amazing and good for sharing, and the omelette were perfectly cooked with yummy cheese and fresh avo.
Would definitely go back, even with a wait!

Such a cute local Cafe! They only do cash or check, but do have an atm inside! The wait is probably like 5-15minutes, but worth it. The have a specials for the day! Really sweet, fast and overall kind. Will be visiting soon!

I stayed at an airbnb close to Linda’s and I ate here almost every morning. Their cinnamon rolls are heavenly, coffee is great and they have daily specials which are yummy as well. I especially love the wonderful crew that work here. All good folks! Big Thank you to Lindsay and Matt!!

It's time for another breakfast foods review! 🍳

Parking lot is currently transformed to outdoor seating, so be ready to look for street parking. Luckily, the tables rotate quickly, so you'll only need about 1.5 hours' worth of quarters!

When we arrived, there were about 5-6 parties ahead of us and I want to say we probably waited only 15 minutes. When we were seated, they quickly took our drink orders and moved the specials menu right next to our table for browsing. I appreciated that a lot. 🥺

What we got:
- orange juice (fresh pressed!!)
- sourdough toast
- cinnamon rolls
- turkey avocado omelette
- two eggs with sausage and potatoes
- clam chowder

The clam chowder came with a slice of garlic toast. Oyster crackers will no longer suffice; this is the new standard. It was hearty with lots of chunky veggies.

I've never been to a breakfast place that offers toast, muffins, or FREAKIN CINNAMON ROLLS with their breakfast sets. I think it's pretty obvious what I went with. My eggs and sausage were pretty standard, hard to mess those up. The potatoes were okay, very forgettable. If I could go back in time, I just wouldn't have eaten them. They seemed like boiled potatoes that were cooked on the skillet briefly.

The cinnamon roll was phenomenal. I don't like having nuts(or pecans?) in sweets, but we finished it anyway. It's soft and gooey (but still completely cooked). A smidge of butter is provided to make it extra indulgent. So good!

The orange juice came in a cute cup and was the perfect amount of tartness to cut through the hearty dishes from this meal.

I've been to very little Santa Cruz eateries, but it's clear Linda's cafe is loved by locals and tourists alike.

This place is amazing, staff and kitchen both do a great job. Don’t forget to ask for the specials. If you don’t get up early, you will miss them. It is a very popular place, so be ready to wait. The Tex toasts a just amazing. Parking is difficult but behind the building there are some parking. Also, walking around is not that bad as the terrain is mostly flat.

First, I have to say the “wait staff” were awesome. They were friendly, attentive, and they all worked together as a team (so nice)!
The food was delicious! We were hungry and wanted to try everything, but picked out a few different items. The biscuits and gravy were great 👍👍, the cinnamon roll was delicious (husband ate it, because I am allergic to walnuts), crispy bacon - just like we ordered, and blueberry pancakes 🥞! The Apple sausage and eggs were perfect! This is a great little place (cash only). Looking forward to going back 😋.

Delicious food with a beach like atmosphere, can’t miss at this place. I had their special huevos chipotle, it was killer. I would highly recommend to a friend.

Small little breakfast and lunch diner near Santa Cruz. Staff are very friendly. Must go for the cinnamon rolls muffin. Be sure to bring cash or check as they don't accept credit or debit, but do have an atm on site.

The service is top notch!!
We came on MLK Monday, it was crazy busy at 800. But food came out fast, coffee was never cold, the kindest wait staff.
Had the Eggs Benedict special. The Canadian bacon was thicker than I have ever had. This may be my only meal for the day, very hearty. $16.95 for EB, $3.50 for coffee.

Parking was difficult. Street parking only. They have converted their lot to outdoor seating.

Looking for a delicious home cooked breakfast or lunch in Santa Cruz? Look no further. This is the place to get a generous meal portion, all homemade from scratch and super yummy. Brought my Doodles and we sat outside, they brought them a bowl of water, thank you for that. Definitely coming back. Don't miss this place when visiting Santa Cruz.

We are here visiting for a family wedding and we were in search for breakfast. My nephew is a foodie and searched for our breakfast destination. He decided on Linda's Seabreeze Cafe. We found it and parked curbside. They also have their own parking lot. We arrived was promptly seated. We timed it right because within minutes, there was a line waiting to get it. I suspect that even though they have a good number of tables, this is the spot people seek out. After reading the menu and specials, we ordered. I was ready for a glass of orange juice. The others got coffee. The orange juice was fresh squeezed and delicious and refreshing. The food came quickly and I was ready to dig in. I got the popeye omelet and a blueberry muffin. They offer plenty of choices for side carb like, toast, English muffins. Cinnamon rolls or muffin. All meals came with home fries. I can honestly tell you that this was the best breakfast I have had in a long time. Why? Because by the first look and bite, you know whoever is cooking, cares about your food. My home made corn/blueberry muffin was pleasantly not sweet and scrumptious. I would have given them 10 stars if that was an option. The staff was friendly and worked like a well oiled machine. When in Santa Cruz, you NEED to go here for breakfast. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Excellent breakfast with lots of fresh fruit options on french toast, waffles , and pancakes. Their fresh squeezed orange juice is memorable as was fresh cinnamon roll option. Great servers make this a must stop destination and one I will return to eat.

They are the best! I take all friends and out of towners to Linda's. If they eat fish I always suggest the fish n eggs. And their pancakes!! But you MUST have their cinnamon rolls. Really. You'll dream of them.

This place is amazing. The Greek scramble is so good, juices are fresh and the cinnamon roll is something else!
Also the service is really good, you may have to wait for a table but is totally worth it.

Large servings! Staff was very friendly. There will most likely be a wait time even if on a week day. They only take cash or check but they do have a atm inside. Parking may be difficult so expect to walk a bit. Indoor and outdoor seating with heaters.

Classic, cozy, friendly place for a fantastic breakfast and lots of coffee. The Eggs Benedict was killer, as were the pumpkin pancakes. Get there early, however, if you don't like waiting.

Food was amazing. Service was friendly and prompt. I can see why the reviews were so positive. Definitely a spot worth visiting when in town.
Update: came back for the first time since covid and they did not disappoint. Food was still really tasty, and the service was just as prompt and friendly. Thoroughly impressed.

First time visit. We ate outside and I ordered the special, a sausage omelet with potatoes. My friend had the muffin of the day with her breakfast, banana, which was tasty (I had to try). Delicous food. Large portions. Friendly staff. COVID protocol followed. I will definitely be back to try other specials.
