Deanne and her staff are amazing they have great hospitality amazing customer service and the food is even better a first impression of Sandovals couldn't have gone any better...my husband and I came back about a year later to find out its under new management still great food, service, atmosphere and reasonably priced

The food is amazing, I had my girlfriends leftover burrito back in January and I had been wanting to come back ever since, it’s now May, and I just had my first experience with the restaurant itself, first off, I ordered my food to go and it was ready by the time I got there, but when I got there I noticed they had free sour patch kids in a bowl like it was Halloween, lol that was the best thing I had ever seen at a restaurant! And then there was a guy named Eric that worked there, he was so courteous and accommodating, his energy and customer service was amazing and above par, I feel like he made the overall experience the best, thanks Eric!

Really great fish tacos, yummy chicken enchiladas, my wife loves the Ala cart Chili Rellenos, & soft chicken taco, love the service and the food, thank you

We love to have our chicken soup. They use the best pieces of breast meat, they make it fresh to order every time. It takes a little longer but so worth it.

my husband and I have been going to Sandoval’s for years. It is wonderful. New owners now but still just as good as it always has been.

The food is authentic, savory, and fresh. One of the best Mexican food places in the Bay that has the unique taste of real Mexican food. The service is exceptional. The waitress was courteous, friendly, and helpful. A smile that leaves a lasting impression. Although the interior is a bit small, there is outside comfortable seating to enjoy the wonderful Benicia weather. Definitely a place to return to on a daily basis to enjoy a nice meal alone or with a group.

It’s a little crammed in for space, but the food is great, the chips and salsa and sodas keep topped off, and it’s just excellent service. What more can you ask for?

I had chicken enchiladas dinner and was impressed with the flavor of the first and last bites. Great service and the restaurant was busy, but service was great! Was with my wife and friends and we all will be back soon. ( Hope we get a table after this review 😃)

we walked in and was greeted with big smiles. service was genuine. menu was easy to read and well put together. food was delicious i had the fish taco that included rice and beans, my wife had the combo platter, one of our daughters had tri-tip fajitas, our other daughter had shedded chicken quesadilla and our son had the cheese quesadilla kids platter. soft drinks came in very large cups that we didn't have too ask for refills. over all we all gave casa Sandoval 👍🏼👍🏼up! come visit! you will not want to leave.

My family and I are very pleased as well impressed with this little Benicia restaurant we've found. Inside it's very quaint and authentic looking but even better was the quality of their food. Wonderfully made and delicious. Their staff was always there checking if there was anything you desired or needed. Finally we found a local quality Mexican restaurant. Thank you so much.

Honestly I did not expect much from this little place but I was taken back by the relaxed atmosphere, great service and freakin yuuummmmm fajitas! The server said the chicken fajitas the most popular item on the menu. Fajitas are never my first choice but since they were recommended I got the steak tri tip. They were so so good! My mother got a tostada salad which she said was not great and my bff got a combo plate, she inhaled it so it must have been good. I recommend this little place, order the fajitas cuz they #1!

Just had a huge burrito and it was so great. Beans were cooked perfectly, cheese was warm and melty, and the rice was delicious. Great service too, waitress was very pleasant. Very cool retro looking, air conditioned building. Overall experience was excellent, 10/10. Hopefully I will be coming again in the future! 🙌

Great food in a relaxed atmosphere.

I don't know why this place has low reviews. We've never had a bad meal. It's family owned and operated, and all of our favorite classics are made with love. The shrimp diablo is incredible. The chili verde is tender, hot, and super flavorful. The pork carnitas are delish. Although I haven't had it yet, the burrito looks amazing. The beans and rice are always good. The salsa is nice and spicy. Yes, it costs extra for more chips and salsa right now, but we are living in a pandemic. Make sure you ask for more tortillas as well. When I can go and sit down again, I will. The beers are cold, and the food is hot and fresh.

Great restaurant, love going to local owned businesses and seeing regulars. This is the ki d of place you can tell the same people go to every week and see each other.

Excellent traditional Mexican food and great atmosphere. This place feels like you stepped out of old Town Benicia into a little restaurant in Mexico. It's very well decorated and the food is simply delicious. I had the fajitas (shrimp and chicken)... They were fresh, cooked to perfection. We'll be back!
