Super friendly staff!! The creamy beige drink is AMAZING! I usually don't order blended drinks at coffee shops because they are usually watered down and too sweet... this was NOT. Strong coffee flavor, absolutely perfect.

Sat outside with a friend. Had lunch and talked. Friend had avocado toast - which looked great! I had Turkish Eggs which were fantastic! Both delicious and beautiful. I'll be back to order them again. Wow wow!

This café is one of my favorite local spots. I adore the atmosphere here and the delightful taste of everything. The mocha with marshmallows is particularly special; it has the power to brighten your day.

Super great service, served with smiles and interest! The creamy beige I highly recommend so perfect! The waffles were perfectly made and tasted amazing!

The food is really better than you expect from a coffee shop. We always have the breakfast burritos, one with bacon and one veggie. They are delicious and solid food. We plan to try some of the other choices but never seem to get to them.

Best breakfast burritos, hands down. Normally potatoes are a tasty way to bulk up a breakfast burrito - in this case they’re the star of the show. You won’t understand what I mean until you get one.

Fantastic coffee. If you’re a coffee nut, don’t be fooled by the fact that they don’t have pour over. Their single origin drip is consistently excellent.

Friendly staff, extra spicy (cinnamon I think) pumpkin spice latte. All the syrups for lattes were vegan. Vegan breakfast burrito was also super good (not pictured but definitely recommended). Cats, clouds, coffee, what’s not to like?

Love the flat whites here. Best I've had in a while. The breakfast burritos were also very delicious. I saw reviews that went both ways on the burritos, which is odd to me... I loved it. They also have some non standard coffee options, like paleo latte (blended coffee, butter, mct oil). Outdoor seating could be improved with some umbrellas and shade options. All the employees were super friendly and helpful.

Unbelievable breakfast burritos here- the fried potatoes are out of this world..

But what really is compelling me to make this 5 star review is this gentleman who leads & provides customer service second to pretty much no one in town.

I’ve always loved Cat & Cloud and this new location is just as great! The coffee is best in Santa Cruz and now the burritos and food is amazing! Had the burrito with avocado and my wife had the avocado toast with egg. So good!

Our only stop on the drive from Marin to Monterey. Two lattes (delicious, get yourself one of the cute travel mugs) and a breakfast burrito (no mayo) and we are set. Smiling service and cute decor part and parcel of the pleasure.

The coffee and atmosphere were great but it was the staff that made it special. Especially, Lauren, who went out of her way to make every customer feel right at home while cranking out drinks behind the espresso machine.

A low-key place to enjoy coffee and espresso drinks. The Cappuccino was strong and great presentation. 👏 Breakfast burrito was huge and the guacamole salsa paired well. Aside from being a little quiet at 7am it seemed to get busy early.

Great spot in a neighborhood full of interesting places.
I enjoyed the coffee but even more the avocado toast, with carrots and paprika.
Right now they don't have dine-in, but you can grab one of the benches outside and enjoy the Santa Cruz sun.
Totally recommended.

The answer is the answer to all your coffee dreams. I am notorious for adding cream and a LOT of sugar to my coffee. The answer is the only coffee I'll drink straight. On top of that the atmosphere of this coffee shop is adorable, with an amazing mural when you first walk, friendly service that gave great recommendations and didn't misgender my partner (a first in Santa Cruz), and very comfortable seating. I can't more highly recommend you make a stop in Cat & Cloud and stay a while.

Our favorite coffee hangout in Santa Cruz. Excellent barista’s, good seating, good food (try the avocado toast with pickled onions).

Absolute wonderful food, the first time I got some food here (the burrito was fantastic), and incredible coffee. I’ll definitely be back again :)) highly recommend this place.

Everything I've gotten here is amazing. Had the flat white, cranberry-orange scone, and breakfast burrito, and all of them were good. Definitely recommend the vegetarian breakfast burrito!
