High quality, locally owned alternative to Whole Foods that showcases local brands and indie products whenever possible. If you join their loyalty program, they send discounts and high value free items. Not just a can of energy drink or some short dated item that isn't moving (like the big S does) but stuff like half a pound of shrimp the size of your finger, a bag of organic coffee, 750 ml California olive oil, or a bag of organic mandarin oranges. Went in for the free coffee and found a bargain on Bob's Red Mill flour on the same aisle.

One of my favorite Supermarkets. Amazing selection. Locally owned. Very friendly staff. My favorite thing to get is a custom sandwich at the deli. Can’t beat it for $9.99!

Great quality produce. A bit expensive but you get what you pay for. Checkout lines are short and self-checkout works well.

When you need organic Fresno peppers, flat iron steak, or other quality natural ingredients, New Leaf is the place to go.

Found many safe for me gluten, dairy, and corn-free products like San-J Tamari, Kashmir curry simmer sauce, and fresh (but expensive) produce. The local wild caught fresh fish was excellent!

Great store with lots of healthy products. Including all organic veggies, a hot food + salad bar and non traditional groceries. Simaler to a Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. Oh and don't forget fresh pizza sold by the box or by the slice🍕.

Beckmann's pies are the best in California and they're sold here :)

Clean and super friendly. Just watch that one cashier. She tried to charge me for 10 avocados instead of one. We had a good laugh or at least I did.

What a nice store! All the staff we encountered were pleasant and helpful. We had sandwiches made at the deli. They were excellent and deli staff were superb. We got dessert (excellent macarons!) at the bakery/coffee counter and the staff member was very helpful. All good.

The sandwiches and food from the hot bar were delicious.

The customer service was great. The customers themselves were rude and snobby to me, my husband and service dog. A customer made a rude comment which made us feel like we didn't belong there. Just a heads up if you're a person of color from the fields.

The West Side New Leaf is the best one of all the chains without question! They have a growing selection of superior food choices, of course many many marvelous local products. They offer more gluten free and more vegan baked goods, and their hot food bar has gotten soooo delish, with more vegetarian options which is a huge plus. This market is gorgeous, warm, with the most friendly staff (can't say the same for the other locations). They offer many fun cooking classes, and they are located in a choice spot, next to the Verve (most chronic coffee in town) , and also a fantastic bakery, beer and wine houses, art galleries etc. Yes of course pricey, but I don't question price for highest quality organic food and drink, do you?
