For the past 20 years, Elias has been serving the beautiful people of Sebastopol delicious, traditional Mexican food 🥑🌮🌯🍻. I had a pit stop in Sebastopol and did a Google Maps search, so many great places in the downtown area but El Tarascos stood out! Today I had the Chile Verde plate 🤤 the pork was so tender and the Chile Verde sauce was perfect! Support this local business, you can order to go too!

I ordered the carne asada plate which offered generous portions of food. In most cases a diner is offered 3 tortillas with their meal. I got 5 which indicates the generous portions. We are outside which enhanced the experience

I skipped breakfast today so treated myself to an early lunch. I haven't been here for a long while. I had forgotten how amazing their food is. Fed my body and soul.

The best (and cheapest) burrito in Sonoma county. I travel 50 minutes to eat here.

Absolutely amazing. Was not expecting to have vegan options but they do! Lived super close for almost two years be fore wandering in and super glad we did! Their tofu is great and their rice is vegan friendly which is hard to find! Staff is super friendly and the prices are not ridiculous at all. We eat there regularly now and are never disappointed.

I really love this place. Small, authentic, delicious Mexican food. Owner is very nice, everyone who works there is wonderful. Plus, the prices are really good! Sebastopol has gotten very expensive to eat out, and this place is top notch for low dollar. They also have delicious tofu as a meal alternative, they really know how to make it right!

The Best food I have ever had at a restaurant! Customer service was also beyond excellent. My hubs and I highly recommend this place!! We had enchiladas and a tostada.

I've enjoyed Tarasco since I was a kid! It's always my go to Mexican restaurant when I'm in town. The portions and whatever special sauces/spices they use in every dish I've had are freaking superb!
Very reasonably priced considering the VERY high quality of the food. The staff are kind, courteous and great with their customer service! 👍👍👍

Elias and his team are always super friendly. The recipes are flavorful, and they will always customize your order. The salsa, especially the red salsa, is delicious!!

El Tarasco continues to have great food with great prices with great consistency. With so many Mexican options in the area it's great to see them continuing to deliver quality food year after year.

Top choice, very tasty. I like to sub black beans for the regular beans (but you do you).

Also love their house red salsa, one of the best I've ever had!

Best Mexican food in town! My favorite is the crispy tacos and my fiance loves their tofu super burritos. We've tried every Mexican restaurant in town but El Tarasco is the best! Quality, good portions and the prices are very reasonable.

Love the food but after 4 orders that have been wrong we won't be back. Too bad. Unforced errors.

Small strip mall taco and burrito place (they have plates as well - I never think to go there for a plate). Tasty food, nicely prepared, and pleasant service. Definitely the best fast burrito in Sebastopol.

After years and years of its being our local Sebastopol go-to place for Mexican food (especially for take-out when we're tired after a hard day's work and just want some of the best Mexican comfort food ever), it's about time we give El Tarasco our five-star thumbs up rating and review. The food is consistent, delicious, authentic, fresh and of generous proportions. We love the staff, too. Go for it and you won't be disappointed!

Yummy for one or the whole family; Eating in or out. Great staff but the cook could use a vacation - he is always there. The waitress is friendly and helpful. The owner is a very nice man.
