Dan Foley Park

Been going here for years. Absolutely love this park. You can BBQ go fishing on the Pier. They have a soccer field, a baseball field it's 3 different levels to the park. Has public restrooms. Just overall very good park to take friends and family and have a BBQ or just to enjoy the day

Free admission during the week. There is plenty of spots to relax and chill. There is geese,ducks,and swans. You can fish from a pier. Picnic areas and beaches available.

Peaceful,Quiet with scenic views.Picturesque place.
Great for walking,fishing,hanging out and picnic with family or even a date. A good getaway to breath some fresh air.Plus you can see ducks,swans..love to explore the area.Safe place coz there is a Guard and someone who roam around to check the surroundings.And a big check coz you can see the Six Flags Discovery Kingdom too.

I've been twice this week. As of now it's clean, and beautiful. The pond is across from six flags so it's a cool view. Lots of grass and a nature. You can drop a kayak in and the water is smooth and easy to navigate. Such a nice place to drop the kayak in for an hour. I'm making this my 'spot' lol.

1st time here and I liked this spot. They have tables, grills, bathrooms, playground. We also brought our paddle boat. The area we reserved to have bday party had a nice view. Will definitly be back again!

Haven't been here in awhile. It's great to see that the city cleaned up the place and did some remodeling. My kids have fun here!

I did not know where this park wasn’t had to Google it but I signed my son up for environmental camp here. It was a really great program he had lots of fun with the weekly field trips I didn’t really have any issues with the other students that were an addressed. I love the hours 7 AM to 6 PM Monday through Friday. That was a big help getting to work in Marin county.

Great place for family picnics, family reunions, company picnics or any event that you might be planning. Only drawback is you can't have a DJ. Great place to take the kids to fish or feed the Ducks. Or take your small boat or kayak on the lake.

One of my favorites places in Vallejo. Privately owned park. There is so much space you can BBQ go fishing and play at the park.

Nice picnic area, with a few cement stationary picnic tables. Trees on the west side of the meadow area provide shade & are a great wind break on blustery days. Quiet & peaceful here, not crowded either. I enjoy bringing my dog with me to relax.

Had our family reunion. Although I thought the space was going to be too large for us ..it was perfect for our needs once we added a bar...2 photo booths, DJ and caterer

Quiet and chill during six flags off season

Recently, my son has been leaving his dog with me when he goes to work. On our daily walks, we've been heading to Dan Foley. A friend also reserved a picnic area there on a Saturday for a memorial gathering, so I've spent a lot of time there in the last month.
I've walked all around the park and rediscovered how much beautiful open space it encompasses! GVRD does an amazing job keeping the lawns in good shape, and although it's an uphill battle, they are remarkably successful at keeping the park clean.
There are several picnic areas available to reserve, with picnic tables and grills. The Dan Foley Cultural Center also offers reservable indoor space, and a slew of recreational classes are available there through the GVRD.
Lake Chabot is lovely this year after all the rain!

Nice beautiful and clean park for parties and kids. My kids love this place.

The only thing I didn't like was how the staff rushed me and my family out of the park during closing. Besides that we had a great time cooking, eating, drinking and celebrating my daughter's graduation 🎓

Great place for soccer even during the week. Weekends there is a parking fee. There is also food sold here when there are soccer games.

Love to feed the ducks and the kids love to use their bikes here.
