I've never owned a really high quality rain jacket so when I knew I would get a good tax refund this year I decided to splurge. I had been referred to KUIU by a former coworker who was an avid outdoor sportsman and who told me this company made the best rainwear in the industry, better than LL Bean or North Face. I chose a Kutana Gale Force insulated rain jacket as an online purchase. I made the right choice. It fit absolutely perfect and is so warm and comfortable to wear. The proprietary waterproof material is 100% effective at making the rain roll right off. The jacket has a lifetime guarantee but you'll never need to use it. Remember these jackets are designed to keep hunters and fishermen warm and dry for hours. I highly recommend KUIU. Their showroom is in Dixon just off I 80 and well worth the drive.

It's the KUIU showroom. It's a must visit.
All of the employees there were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. To get your hands on the gear is a plus and aside from tradeshows and their travel rig, this the only place you can do that - in fact it's the only place you can try it on, pay for it and walk out the door with it.
Don't get me wrong, their marketing catalogs and website are top notch along with their return policies as this is how I've bought all my KUIU gear over the years. But to step into the showroom was cool.

Kuiu has some awesome cold weather gear, but you’re going to pay for it…even when it’s on sale. But I don’t think I have any cold weather clothes that keep me as warm but weigh almost nothing. Last summer I bought myself and my dad a kenai jacket and unless the temperature drops below freezing it’s all I need with a tshirt. I also have the peloton jacket for mildly cold weather and I just bought but haven’t received the super down ultra during their founders sale. Always buy when on sale and you won’t be disappointed. You’ll also never be able to go back to your old heavy jackets once you get used to these!

Hands down the best hunting gear on the market! My buddy and I will only use KUIU gear on our CO hunts. From the attack pants to the Kutana Gale Force jacket, nothing comes close in quality!

I am very picky about sizing so I decided to make the drive into the showroom and I'm glad I did. The woman there was incredibly helpful and even had set aside a few jackets for me to try on when I had called to see if they had my style in stock.

The quality of their jackets is amazing and although you may have to try on a few sizes/styles to get the fit just right, this will probably become one of the nicest jackets you own - at least mine is. Highly recommend - you get what you pay for. Maybe wait for a sale to strike if you are very price conscious but at full price its still worth the quality.

The showroom is very full and has lots of great stuff (some not found on their website.) Their product gallery is much more impressive in person and glad I left the place when I did or you can easily spend $1k in here, no problem.

Plus huge shoutout to KUIU for actually having inner lining on their shell-like jackets. So many $500 jackets out there are just taped gore-tex shells with no lining. Now I can probably just wear this jacket as a single layer over a T-shirt and be fine 90% of the time.

Their hunting clothes are the best. Really enjoy ordering from them. I highly recommend them for hunting, fishing , and hiking. Their layering system is great.

From Washington state and was passing through the state and stop by on a whim. went i got there they had a park lot sale going on and had some great deal. Don't know how often that happen here but if that a regular thing I would like to know went it happens. It well be worth the 10 hours drive to get those great deals again. As far as the actual showroom just as impressive worth stopping by if you're a KUIU fan and they had a spring cleaning sale going on inside as well.

This is my go to for hunting gear! It’s also a place I need to steer clear because I get myself into trouble. There’s so much good stuff.

The clothing is amazing, I have a full gear of the Verde color, with everything! Jackets, rain gear, bow holder, two hunting packs, gloves, and on and on. It’s light, packable, doesn’t make noise when in the woods.

Kuiu products are pretty awesome. The family has placed 7-8 orders and have never been unhappy. A couple of items were returned due to a sizing issue but the return process is simple. Thanks kuiu.

It was crazy busy when I was in, Black Friday, but clerks took time to help me out and even shipped me a t-shirt that they didn't have the size I needed in the show room for free (shipping and shirt)! Wow! My husband loves Kuiu for his outdoor escapades so I try and get him gifts as well as supporting a local business.

I ordered a 7200 pack from their KUIU World Tour trailer and was met with great service and fitted perfectly. I was told that the pack would be 2 weeks out which at the time I understood. I called them on the following Monday asking if they could possibly send it earlier since I had a backpacking trip coming up. I received a phone call asking if I still needed it ASAP and It was on my doorstep 3 days later..great service and quality.... So good in fact I just ordered a 15 degree bag.

I've been hunting for many years and my rain gear from other companies has always left me a little wet. I wore my new KUIU rain gear during the Houston rain storms a few months back and was completely dry. The zippers under the arm pits helps to cool you down during high activity times. I have nothing but good things to say about the customer service on my four different purchases, and one return for credit. I just placed an order yesterday and the service was excellent!! It can't be just good luck on four different purchases.
None of the products I have purchased have had any defects. The sales person that helped me out at the Dallas Safari club show gave me plenty of time to try on different grades and different sizes of products before I made up my mind. I can't wait to try out my back pack this fall in Alaska.

Awesome show room. Lots to choose from. KUIU maybe one day open a showroom in Utah.

This is TOP quality gear. I know you pay a bit more but this stuff is worth every penny.
I've taken my Alpine pants through some pretty thorny stuff in central Texas and they come out like new every time. They are quiet too. I stalk in them. HIGHLY Recommended!!!
