The Marketplace

I order online and picked up. My accessibility is limited. They are always quick to deliver my items to my car, and very friendly. The only setback is that even though spaces are provided for pick up customers other patrons park in those spots which can be inconvenient. It's a very busy parking lot.

The workers always go out of their way to help you a d to make sure you hit all you need very happy atmosphere.

We needed kitchen supplies after a long moving day. Safeway surprisingly had everything I needed, and their kitchen items were Buy One, Get one Half Off. Frying pan, stock pot, cooking spatula and ladle, can opener, lemon squeezer, pizza slicer, potato peeler, measuring spoons and cups, oven mits, cupcake tins, colander, mixing bowl, chef's knife and paring knife. Everything I needed!

Hey, you know we only go there for our new go-to lunch spot on our road trips between Truckee and San Anselmo.
Dos Coyotes serves quality food, good portion sizes, reasonable prices and friendly service. Can't ask for more than that. Right?

Most all types of services are in this shopping center. Dos Coyotes is my fav.

Safeway is over and above one of the best stores to shop ... No matter where you go. The employees are awesome and a lot of there work there for a long time.
I travel a lot and I can always count in great service with great prices.
Ok, once in a while... I will meet an employee who might have had a long day...
But once in a while... I do too and then I met an employee who helps make it better.
Be nice to them... They work their b*tt's off.

Great alot shops around

Needs to be stocked aisles were empty

I went to pick up some egg rolls and Peking Pork from the deli. Both delicious. We shop here frequently to get fresh fruits, vegetables, milk and French Bread, always good quality. Our main grocery is a military commissary, but it's at a distance and this our main local grocery. I like the fruit bowls and the mixed veg dip selections which I buy when we see our son's family. When we get back to normal socializing I will buy them for bigger partys. Hopefully soon. Got our vaccines, YEAH!

People in the reviews are confusing Safeway with the actual Marketplace Plaza itself. If you want to review Safeway, do so on the Safeway page. The plaza is a really bright and clean place and a hub for all things essential. I would appreciate them marking the floors as one-way in the parking lot so people would know not to turn into the wrong way. The plaza can get pretty busy during the day and hard to find parking. But since the college students have left during the pandemic and summer times, there's lots of parking. Some stores here come and go frequently but Safeway is here to stay.

Safeway is the go to place if you need groceries. Meat department...bakery...deli..and bank inside. Nummy coffee and great meat prices on certain days of the week. The store is small and busy with long but quick lines.

Cleanliness is a high priority, the staff are helpful and check out is quick, in most cases. There is a good variety of gluten free products.

Have been shopping at Safeway and others there for years...I’ll evaluate others as I return there when I need something from them.

With that being said, my wife and I just returned from Australia after living there for almost 3 years. I only had to pick up a few items from Safeway but my 5 star rating isn’t so much about the items I bought but the people at the store.

I approached the one on the floor and asked about an item I had trouble finding...when they looked up as I approached he said hello and then immediately recognized me and said “it’s been a while since I’ve seen you here, how long has it been?”

The cashier did exactly the same thing but she worded it somewhat differently.

After being away almost 3 years and really only crossing paths at the store, I was surprised that they remembered me.

It was a nice surprise and made my day!

Cows pigs and other farm animals on the roofs as decorations. Has a nice look for a strip mall. Peets coffee Noah's Bagels ,Safeway a Goodwill couple of places to eat. Lots of parking.

Lots of shops there in a circular strip mall style, from several different restaurants - Dos Coyotes, Round Table Pizza,, Oanda Express, Togo's sandwiches,, Peet's coffee, Noah's Bagels, Jamba Juice, and others, and a Leslie's Swimming Pool supplies, Safeway, CVS, an optometrist, Petcoand probably other stores. It is clean and has lots of free parking and a nice atmosphere.
