The Sonoma food, wine and history tour is exactly what you don't know you need! We had a fun day with Abby, despite the rain. Cheese, Mexican food, Margaritas, Olive Oil tasting, Wine tasting with furry friends, fresh baked goodies and chocolate were all delicious and we ended with some shopping and a rainbow! Thanks for a great day!

One of the best tours I’ve ever taken! Our tour guide Abby was amazing and has so much passion for Sonoma which was great to see. We went to 4 great places for food, wine and even a cocktail, which was great change of pace after days of wine tasting. All the restaurants and tasting rooms were very welcoming and provided great service. Abby also shared with us some great Sonoma history as we walked through town. She also provided us personalized recommendations to do after our tour in the area. I could not recommend this tour more!

We had an absolutely amazing time on our food tour. Thanks to Mia for setting up a fun and yummy experience for us. Really enjoyed the history that Mia shared with us and how that history wove in to the fabric of Sonoma and it's food and culture. Highly recommend this tour to anyone!

Had a great day with Mamma Mia exploring the tastes of Sonoma! Mia was an exceptional tour guide who shared her love of the city and its history. We enjoyed cheese, Mexican, oils, sausages, chocolates and wine. New experiences and new friends! Who could ask for anything more?

Great tour! Our guide Abby was insightful of the area’s history and extremely friendly! We went to four different places, each with different food, wine or cocktail offerings. She also talked to us throughout the tour, getting to know us and made personalized recommendations for after tour activities. It was a fair amount of walking, but was very manageable with lots of stops. Highly recommend!

Such a fun time with our guide Abby! The stops were varied and had a nice tie to the history of Sonoma. We absolutely enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend Sonoma Food Tour to anyone who wants to enjoy a stroll in this lovely town, learn about its history and taste amazing food and drinks.

This tour was a blast and blew away my expectations. My wife bought the tour for me for my birthday but tried to back out right before because she did not care to go on a food tour. However, she had a blast too. I learned more about California history than 9 years of grade school, learned about lots of local purveyors of great wine and food and had an overall great time with Mia, our guide.

Highly recommend the Sonoma Food Tour.

Amazing food, wine, and history tour! Abby was so hospitable, and so knowledgeable about Sonoma! She took us to some hidden gems, such as the vella cheese and Highway 12 winery! Really enjoyed our tour and would highly recommend!

While visiting Napa I included a food tour in Sonoma. Sonoma Food Tour was recommended by several bloggers.
Our tour guide, Abby, was exceptional. She was knowledgeable, friendly and interested in our thoughts and experiences. Each location she took our group tour, she knew the history, the owners and their specialty. I especially enjoyed how she tied the present environment with the history of Sonoma.
The tour took us to a cheese shop, Vella Cheese Co. Abby gave us the history of the shop and its owners. She was also very familiar with the cheese we were tasting. The next stop was a Mexican restaurant with a delicious lunch, half of an avocado stuffed with pulled chicken, pico, and black beans. After lunch we went to an olive oil shop for a tasting, Again Abby gave us the history of the shop and introduced us to our hostess. The next stop was a wine tasting, Highway 12 Winery. Abby and the host talked about the community and wines. Our final stop was a chocolate shop. We each got a sample of our choice of a delicious truffle.
I would highly recommend Sonoma Food Tour for anyone visiting the area and I hope you have the opportunity to meet Abby.

Wonderful tour! This was a great way to see and learn about Sonoma!

Downtown Sonoma is a small area, so there is only about a mile of walking, maybe less. Our guides had so much information about the history of the area from the historic buildings to the local shops, farms, wineries and even some insights into the local real estate. Clearly these women love Sonoma and love teaching others about their town.

The food and wine were all fantastic and were selected from only local places to truly give you a taste of the town. There was much more food than I would have guessed, enough for a full lunch, even for my husband. Our guides provided a little map at the end where they highlighted all the places we had visited on the tour (in case you wanted to go back) and even included some suggestions on where to go next.

This was a very well though out tour and a perfect way to spend our afternoon. I would highly recommend!

Caroline provided an excellent experience despite the previous night's bad weather and resulting power outage. We had a lovely walk through Sonoma with plenty of interesting facts, delicious food, and wonderful wine. We even got to experience an olive oil tasting! Such a wonderful day!

I’ve been on food tours in many cities, and this Sonoma food tour was absolutely amazing! Abby was wonderful- engaging, outgoing, and full of knowledge on the local food and history. The amount of food and drink we got to take in was definitely generous, and my whole family left feeling full and satisfied. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the city and the delicious food it has to offer!

We had an amazing time learning about Sonoma and experiencing the vibrant local venders. We were nervous since my partner and I are both novice wine drinkers. Mia was friendly and engaging. Every stop impressed us, and everyone who worked with Mia was kind. We ended up finding some new wine favorites and can't wait for our next trip. We highly encourage everyone to take the Sonoma Food Tour!!!

This was my second time doing this tour with a different group of women and it was just as fabulous as the first! The stops along the way are perfect and all the food and wine we tasted was amazing. Mia does a great job of giving you a nice historical tour while also letting you know where the best places to eat and shop in Sonoma can be found. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to find something unique in Sonoma!

Caroline did such a wonderful job on our tour! My friends and I had such a good time learning about the history of Sonoma and trying some of the local cuisine and wine. The route is well done and we were fortunate enough to hide from the rain that day. Only recommendation would be bring some crackers or bread to try with the olive oils. We were not fans of just doing “oil” shots.

My husband, Mike and I took your food tour on December 22, 2022 with Abby as our guide. We had a great time on the tour and would recommend it to anyone. Abby was very knowledgeable about Sonoma’s history and very easy to talk to. Our first stop was at Vella Cheese. I left with a number of cheeses to share with family at Christmas. La Casa Restaurant’s Avocado Relleno was delicious. On our next trip to Sonoma it will be a definite stop. Who knew there was a correct way to taste Olive oil? We learned that at Figone’s. Fun! We ended up buying a lot of wine at Highway 12 Winery. Last but not least we ended up with chocolate at Wine Country Chocolates. I loved all the places we visited. The tour was one of the highlights of our trip. Thanks, Sonoma Food Tour! Gail

What a great start to our week long vacation in Sonoma/wine country.
My wife and I were the only 2 on the tour and Michelle made it feel like we had booked it that way. She was informative and hit all the spots plus sprinkled in some customized items as we went along and she got to know us. And so very helpful with suggestions for wine, food and hiking suggestions in and around Sonoma and with our other planned activities that week. We hated for this tour to end but appreciated Michelle and Sonoma Food Tour for their time and information.

This food tour is amazing, and if you have 3 hours to spare in Sonoma, I highly suggest it. Abby was very knowledgeable about Sonoma's rich history, very personable to each of us, she knew almost everyone in town, and was really great about keeping us on track and on time (so if you overbook your day, she'll make sure to keep to the 3 hours)! The walk is all flat-ground, and you don't walk very far at all, just around the town. The foods provided on the tour were amazing and they did offer a non-alcoholic beverage at one of the stops to accommodate me, as I booked this trip prior to finding out I was pregnant, and our group was 9 people (my 2 friends and I, and 3 couples) and it was the perfect size. I could not say more good things about this tour. Wear comfortable shoes, sunscreen, a hat, bring bottled water, and be ready for the best guided 3 hours in Sonoma.
