Sonoma Wine Shop

Stumbled upon this shop today walking around Sonoma to buy a bottle of wine. Walked out hours later after fun laughs and great conversation in a tasting with Ori. The most entertaining and personalized tasting I’ve been to. The wine was great, Ori knew exactly what I would like, cheese and gluten free crackers as well. We purchased a bottle at the end of the night. My sister and I would definitely come back next time we visit. If you’re ever in the area, definitely add this shop with Ori to your itinerary. The tasting experience and wine are both worth their price, you won’t regret it.

First time in Sonoma. My fiancé and I had the best time with Ori! He really knows his stuff and the best personality. So much fun! We walked out with a couple awesome bottles of wine. Thank you!

This place is beyond 5/5. We called Ori the “Sommelier Mentalist”. He pays attention, reads you and hones in directly to your individual tastes. Whether you have 10 minutes or 2 hours, he will get you to where you need to go. We intended to just pop in for a minute and it ended up being the highlight of our day. We had such a fantastic experience, we will recommend Sonoma Wine Shop to anyone traveling to the area. You can’t go wrong here! (Visiting from Alberta, Canada).

Uri (sp?) Was an amazing wine host and wine expert. We ending up joining because of him and the red wines. He was full of personality and made everyone feel welcome to his adventure and wine roots/tree. Hope to experience this tasting again

Aury (I probably the spelling wrong, sorry!) made our day in Sonoma! Make sure you come in with 1h or so for the full experience. He’ll walk you through the wine tasting journey and he’ll tell you about what you like better than you could have done by yourself, and you’ll get many laughs on the way! Just such a fun time and delicious wines.

I happened to walk into this wine store randomly. Ori was very knowledgeable of his wines and was an amazing host. The wines were fantastic also. Signed up for the wine membership. Definitely coming back everytime I come to Sonoma

We were out on a Sanoma wine tasting trip (through another company) when we stumbled into this wonderful shop while on a lunch stop. Bryan was ever so inviting and knowledgeable in regards to his eclectic wine selection we were immediately impressed and blown away by his wine and local expertise. Being from Australia Bryan was not able to sign us up to his wine subscription (shame) but that never stopped him throwing everything behind what ended up being the best wine tasting we had on our tour! Shop was packed full of delicious wine and complimentary cheese and also his beautiful family, added perk was my husband getting cuddles from their newest family member Quinn (hope I spelt the name right)! We will rave about our impromptu wine tasting for years to come and next time we are in town will happily spend the day with Bryan and his family and his wonderful Wine Shop! ♥♥♥♥

La Bodega catered an event I attended this week and the food was absolutely amazing! I'm a meat lover, and I liked their vegan "lamb and beef" kabobs better than any I've had in the US, Turkey, or Greece. Terrific canapes and killer flouerless chocolate cake were also 5 star standouts. Great job chef!

One of the overall best wine tasting experiences I have ever had. We came in on a Saturday afternoon and got to taste from just about every bottle they had open for 14 dollars. The next morning we came back to sign up for their membership and they really took the time to understand our tastes and preferences and let us revisit each of the wines again. We are looking forward to seeing what they have selected for our second shipment. Highly recommend stopping by.

Amazing service… find out what you like without judgement or thousands of dollars!!! The gentleman helping us was so patient and very knowledgeable! Must try even for experienced winos.

I'm not really into wine and let them know it. They were so accommodating and friendly. Asked what I like to eat, cook, serve at gatherings, favorite fruits etc. I ended up buying two bottles of wine for me and one for my nephew and his girlfriend! Not to mention it was only $9/pp to taste 5 different wines. If I'm ever back in Sonoma, I'm stopping here again.

It was amazing. Wine tasting in Sonoma at $9.00 in Sonoma or anywhere in this wine region is the best kept secret. The wines are wonderful. The food was great. At one point we were in the restaurant with a lady from Israel, a man from Syria, a lady from Canada, and us from the US talking together like best friends. Isn't this how the world should be!!!

We were walking to the plaza when we came across this cute place. The wine was great and the cheese plate was the best we've ever had. The reason I'm writing this review is because the service was passionate, personal, and down to earth. Shout out to Johnathan!

Great wine experience Arie is amazing

Sonoma Wine Shop and La Bodega are a gem spot for the Sonoma Plaza. While many know to find boutique wines in the shop and enjoy $5 tastings of small lot wines, even the locals rarely know about Chef Rick Vargas' kitchen that handles strictly vegetarian dishes and upscale cheeses. Tip - go there for lunch, as it is not open for dinner. This is one of the very best wine clubs I know of for the California Wine Country. It is also a most favorite stop for our Gourmet Food & Wine Tour in Sonoma.
