Wow! We had a wonderful experience at the Coffee Plaza Barbershop. Elise was so great with the kiddos and took their creative ideas for their side shaves and made them a reality. We have been to many other locations in Modesto and this is the first experience where we got exactly what we came for and more. The environment and vibe of the shop is like none other. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment. No regrets and we have finally found our barber. Thank you again Elise!

I just walked in today without an appointment. I got Rob.

First and foremost, I’ve never been able to just “walk-in” to a barber shop and not have to wait or asked if I had an appointment (I didn’t have one) so that was a plus.

Secondly, I told Rob what I wanted and that was that. I personally don’t like a lot of idle chit chat while getting my hair cut. He asked the pertinent questions obviously, but the rest of the time he was just enjoying the soul music playing and doing his thing.

The haircut and beard trim I got was AMAZING, and also not what I expected price wise.

Rob, you’re the GOAT in my book. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I really enjoy going here with my grandson...the staff is professional as well as very nice. This is a great place to get a haircut Hailey, Mike and Elise are the best I will never go anywhere else. The prices of there cuts is extremely affordable.

My wife had taken my kids to this shop and their fades looked so good I had to go check it out for myself. I have bounced around to several shops since leaving the Bay Area and I think I've finally found my new spot. 3 barbers were cutting hair, everyone was friendly and most importantly, I didn't see a bad cut walk out while I was there. Don't sleep on this shop.

One of the best places to cut your hair hands down!! Just went today to get my hair cut again and always wanted to get my hair cut by Elise and i will tell you he got down. We started talking about football etc. this place has a great vibe. I will always come back and I definitely recommend this spot. Price is cheap and they do one of the best fades out there hands down!!!! Thank you

They're very welcoming. I love how the place looks.
They're great at what they do. My barber was great and she made sure my hair is cut even and asked me if it looked good. I can't express how good it is to have a barber make sure you like how you look, instead of just telling you They're done, pay up. I will most defend be coming back here.
Oh they also got mini arcades....I know it's for the kids, but what grown up wouldn't enjoy getting a highscore in pac man while getting a fresh cut.

I get my haircut done by Hayley and she does an excellent job with my hair she knows what I like and always does it with a smile and bubbly personality. I would highly recommend this barber shop because all the barbers Elise, Mike, and Hayley all are superb and keep the atmosphere there at the shop upbeat and welcoming.

Friendly barbers. A bit small but cozy and comfortable. Good tunes. No wait. Good haircut. Very reasonable prices. I just moved to Modesto and have found my go- to place. Elise cut my hair just as I asked.

Highly recommended for kids. They were so good with my son and did such a good job with his hair cut. Family friendly environment and they have such patience for the little ones.

My family and I moved to Modesto over a year ago and I have been all over trying to find a Barber Shop that I liked. I walked into Coffee Plaza Barber one day to get a style cut and Elise, the owner was the one who cut my hair. His attention to detail was top notch! I will definitely not go anywhere else to get my hair cut from now on. Great atmosphere, great people! I HIGHLY recommend the next time you need a haircut to go to Coffee Plaza Barber!!!

Great barbershop new owner really cleaned the place up. Mona, Mike, Holly are all really good barbers. This place is a gel it feels chill and inviting.

Called ahead to make an appointment and they were available and very accommodating. Took my two kids and my husband tagged a long and got himself a nice cut too. Élise is the new owner and barber. He is very kind and gave my son a great hair cut. Very patient and kind. My son doesn’t enjoy hair cuts but after doing so my son was dancing and smiling telling me he was going to explode from happiness. The other 2 cuts were done by Mona. She is very patient and kind too. My little one was fidgeting but she took her time and was very aware of his movements. She did my husbands hair too. Both cuts look great! Definitely will be coming back.

First time taking my twins here and the barber was amazing. My son has autism and he so was patient with him. I’m very grateful I found this great shop. And my sons haircut turned out so cute! His hair was a mess before. I will definitely keep bringing my little man back.
