It was margarita night and happy hour so let's just say we had the best time. Saw a few dishes to come back and try since it was our first time.... We will be back again and again.

Our favorite Mexican food restaurant in the area! Taco salad with shredded chicken is to die for. Guacamole is always fresh and fantastic! I do wish they had a mild salsa. Parking sucks but I will walk for this food! 🤣 In all fairness I don't think they thought 50+ years ago when they started they would need a parking lot 10 times the size they had.

Food was fresh, prepared well, and the price was great. The menu is extensive with lots of seafood options as well. Their bar was nice and they made an excellent margarita!

We were kinda loud, I noticed. Then I realized it's because it's just like home. Everyone is happy, loving their food, enjoying the company, laughing and having a good time! Every table in the place reflected the same experience.

Friendly service and the food is always delicious. Love the flour and corn mixed chips and spicy salsa. The Verde enchilada sauce is really good and so are the camarones al mojo de ajo.

I was treated like I was the only customer. The woman who served me was wonderful just like the lady who filled my water glass!

Came in on a Friday about a little less than an hour before close. The parking lot was packed and so was the dining room. Lively atmosphere! Would definitely bring the kids to eat here. Ordered take out because we were on our way home. Waiter was friendly and made helpful suggestions, the owner was friendly and made sure that we were getting helped. Food came out quick and was very delicous even after driving 20 minutes home! Can't wait to dine in!

This place is hands down the best Mexican food around. I've coming here for years and have never been disappointed.

Often overlooked are the specials listed. The Halibut is amazing. The camarones are my favorite dish.

Also, margaritas are a must.

Wish I could give 10 stars for this place. My first husband brought me here when we we're dating, way back in the 70's, and it was a home that had been converted to a restaurant. Even back then, the crowds we're loving this place. We'd stand in line that often went out the front door and around the house, but nobody EVER complained while in line. I am now married again, 1st husband passed, and I still have the joy of introducing people to the best food ever, at El Ranchito. Excellence bar none!!! Customer service is top notch. Bravo, and thanks for 43 years of fantastic food.

They serve you soup and salad with some of the meals. The bean soup was so delicious!! My husband and myself loved the salsa.....they served half corn and half flour tortillas for the chips!!! We will definitely be back here!!

Great food, great drinks. I’m VERY particular about Chile Colorado and this place nailed it! Perfection! I drove 130 miles to try it at a friend’s recommendation and it did not disappoint! Will definitely be back for more!

Great margaritas, family owned and very consistent dishes, great seafood on the weekends. Can get really noisy, but I like that!!
