Mocha Magic Cafe & Bakeshop

I came for the first time yesterday which also happened to be their 5th Birthday as a business. I got a delicious strawberry orange smoothie and this jalapeno bagel with cream cheese that was to die for. The atmosphere was very cutesy, definitely inspired by the coffee shop in friends, but still very original with art all over. The meeting area is this nice little indoor hall just outside the main bakery part. They forgot to actually get me my bagel, so after about 10 minutes of waiting I reminded them and they got it to me very fast. Overall a great experience and I will come back.

Was leaving my hotel across the street, I was gonna go to sprouts to get a sandwich and happened to see this place. I got the grilled roast beef sandwich special for lunch and a dry cappuccino. It was the best cappuccino I’ve had in a long time. Perfect tight bubbled stiff foam. Excellent tasting espresso. The sandwich was excellent, and just the right size. Came with a cookie and a side and was less than $10. That price for these days blew me away. Such a good experience in every way. I look forward to coming back here next time I’m in town!

Super friendly staff that works hard to remember your name. The coffee is strong, The food is always great when you know what you want. When you don't... the daily special can take you out of your comfort zone.

Wonderful spot for custom orders. Just about anything they sell out of their pastry case and cooler is an absolute 10/10. Espresso shots are expertly made which makes for fantastic drinks personally love the cafecito, just a little sweet from the good espresso and the simple combo makes for a nice light morning drink.

The owner is so sweet and positive! I was able to have some decaf French roast for espresso. I also enjoyed my warmed bagel and cafe au lait! The chicken pesto panini was delicious and they even had a cookie decorating station setup.

The baked goods in combo with excellent coffee will have me coming back whenever I'm in downtown Modesto

$10 for a 16oz mocha and a bagel sandwich! There was another half to it before I took the picture. This place is awesome.

Love this place. Delicious. I love the way they decorate for the holidays. Very friendly people here and they always make you feel welcomed.

I bought a neopolitan for my husband and he said it was marvelous! Enjoyed the shopping experience and the Cafe area where my friend and I were able to talk and enjoy a hot drink on a cold day.

My husband and myself have a date almost every Thursday when we miss we try a different day at least once a week If I could afford it! I would come everyday! Love this cute little place the owner has beautiful personality and Lovely cute little presentation! She should setup! More shops in the surrounding area!

Great little shop, they have good pastry and sandwich options. Their coffee is good always, I tried their iced chocolate mocha and my wife had their hot white mocha.

An absolutely lovely little cafe and Bakeshop. It was such a pleasure working with the owner, Maria, and I can attest that the bakery items were baked fresh daily. I would say it’s a true testament if the workers themselves would even eat and drink the food that they serve, and boy were they always good.

First time here, I will definitely be back!
So many beautiful baked goods! I had a delicious coconut cream cupcake with some great coffee. The staff is very pleasant & friendly,too.

This is my favorite place for lunch. The chai tea is my favorite in town. The soups, sandwiches, and pastries are absolutely delicious, and you can not go wrong with either of them. Thank you

Amazing bakery, great sandwiches and always super friendly. So glad I found out about this spot. Today I had the Farmhouse club sandwich (came with a cookie), a delicious coffee, banana nut muffin, bad of Mrs.Vickie’s chips and a cup of vegetarian chili and I was so delighted! It was delicious. And prices are so fair it’s incredible. Love this spot! Going there more often for my lunch

Found this place during my Delivery job and what a gem. The staff was super friendly. The coffee is delicious and I tried the cranberry scone which was amazing, Soft and not dry like Many scones i've tried other places. I will definitely keep this on my list of places to come back to🩷

Atmosphere, service, coffee and baked goodies to delight all the senses. The place is a treasure that you must try. I came by last night (they stayed open late for the Modesto Parade) and I had a large hot cocoa. What a super small business in Modesto. The community is very fortunate to have Mocha Magic & Bakeshop. They have small tables and seating for you also. Thank you. ❤

This place is homey and welcoming. The staff and owners are wonderful. From their breakfast sandwiches to their muffins, is so fresh and tasty!! Free parking in the garage behind it.

The owner/baker is so friendly & inviting. The staff is exceptional & the service is top notch! Great selection of drinks & homemade pastries. If you haven't tried this little quaint hole in the wall, you're truly missing out!
