I was diagnosed with cancer last year and my whole experience so far has been excellent. All nurses helping me have been very nice, compassionate and caring. And the doctors have been great also, I would definitely recommend Sutter to anyone!

Sutter has outstanding nursing and support staff, working diligently and with kindness in the Pre/Post and Surgery Units. I have been repeatedly impressed by their knowledge, medical skills, thoroughness of information gathering and sensitivity to patient and family. They demonstrate an outstanding capacity to prioritize teamwork within their unit and with the staff of other units serving the patient. These nurses excel in helping the patient understand what’s going on, taking a very accurate history, making sure all questions are explored and satisfactorily answered and guarantee the patient is properly prepared for surgery. Most recently Mary Wilson, Andrea M. Lekander and Liz Flahive provided remarkable care and kindness. Sincere thanks from the Family of Sam Radelfinger.

Had to take my wife to the ER for some stitches. Staff were extremely friendly and kind even at 3 am. The nurses Glen and Kim were amazing. The doctor was also very kind. We were brought back quickly. Overall as good of an experience as possible for needing emergency stitches at 3am!

Had an amazing experience with Sutter for my OBGYN / labor & delivery experience. I moved back to the area and needed to find an OB when I was pregnant and I received amazing care from Dr.Wang and the staff in the office. I was able to book out my appointments in advance and Dr.Wang took the time at each appointment to answer any questions I had. I also called in multiple times with concerns and was able to talk to an advice nurse within a couple of hours who was always so helpful! When it came to my birth, each and every nurse, doctor and staff member we encountered was amazing! They took the time to listen to concerns, explain the process, fill our waters and make us as comfortable as possible, and answer all questions we had as first time parents. I cannot say enough about the excellent care we received!

I had full knee replacement surgery in 1/12/2021 & 2nd full knee replacement on 9/15 this year & the nursing staff at Sutter Regional Hospital, On Mark West Springs Road, Santa Rosa, Ca the nursing staff were are fantastic. I could not do what they do. If it had not been for the entire hospital staff from Nurses, doctors, anesthesiologists etc & house keeping the Covid-19 patients & all patients would have been much worse. The people in management NEED TO DO 1 day WHAT THE medical staff do on a daily basis. I do t think they could do it. Thank you to all the people at Sutter Hospital & to all hospitals & staff. Spent 5 days in the Outpatient Care facility before and after emergency appendix removal. The entire staff, Doctors, nurses, lab techs and service personnel were amazing. Professional and competent you would expect, but they were also caring, patient and friendly. The staff are always busy, but were never too busy to stop and talk for a minute and make sure you had whatever you needed. You often feel lonely and isolated when your in the hospital. Its really nice when the nurses stop by for no reason but to check on you and see if you need anything. I hate hospitals but this was by far the best experience I've had.

I had total knee replacement surgery 3 days ago. The hospital staff was attentive, the room quiet and comfortable. The food was delicious, especially the homemade cookies! I have a outstanding surgeon , Dr.Briant Smith, who has made sure that transitioning to home was easy. Sutter Health’s care has been thorough and comforting.

I wouldn't be alive today without their thorough and caring Cardiology unit. On NYE 2019 I was brought in all the way from the Sutter in Antioch with CHF combined with a deadly case of the flu. I was under their care for about a week. They made it easy to understand what was going on with my heart and how to take care of myself going forward. The nursing staff was very sweet always making sure that I was comfortable and had everything that I needed. And...even though I was on the cardiac diet, the food was delicious. This facility is one that you can trust and know that you'll leave feeling better.

I was referred to that hospital by my orthopedic Dr. Thomas J. Chang when my mom and I are talking to him about where to go for surgery on my right ankle that I broke at work in December 2018 when she suggested to him that I go to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital. (Hint: I broke my right ankle in 2 places: the tibia and fibia.) I went in there for surgery to get my ankle fixed (with some metal plates, pins and screws). I was out of work for 7 months (December 2018-July 2019). Dr. Chang and his team were great. They put me to sleep before my surgery. The surgery took about 4 hours. I woke up in the recovery room. One of the nurses offered me a stuffed animal (which I accepted and hey, the stuffed animal kept me company on the night I was in the hospital). After my surgery, I was given the options to either go back to my house the same night or stayed at the hospital. I opted to stay the 1 night in the hospital for my welfare (so I don't get wobbly). They even got me some bathroom items (Such as a toilet, and a toothbrush). I would also wake up at least 1 time per hour that night to use the bathroom (via pushing the nurse button on the hospital remote. I was released the next morning after breakfast from the hospital. I went there in January 2019. Would I refer this hospital to my family and friends, for sure I will refer that hospital to them.

I woke up early Tuesday morning with abdominal pain and ended up in Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital’s emergency room. I cannot say enough good things about my experience with this hospital. I ended up being admitted and having surgery to remove my gallbladder. Everyone, from the emergency room nurses and doctor to the technicians who gave me an ultrasound and MRI in the middle of the night to the surgical staff and surgeon who performed the operation - was professional, friendly, and supportive. The hospital is busy but I was communicated with the entire time and knew what to expect. Post surgery, I was given a very nice room, with a comfortable bed where I spent the night. My nurses were AMAZING. Kind, gentle, caring, and funny! This hospital is top notch.

My dad suffered a major heart attack and was airlifted to Sutter Santa Rosa from Lake County. He spent almost two weeks there, mostly in the care of the ICU nurses and interdisciplinary staff. Everyone we encountered was polite, professional, and kind. I cannot say enough good things about EVERY SINGLE ICU NURSE. They were welcoming, thorough and had excellent communication. I cannot thank them enough, and although his stay at the hospital was almost two months ago I still get emotional when I talk about the quality of care he received and how much easier they made such a terrible experience.

Had a hip replacement at SR Sutter Hospital. Everyone one was exceptional. Would recommend highly.
The only negative was the phlebotomist who barged in at 6:00 turned on the brightest lights and said I need to get some blood.
Otherwise, 5’s across the board.

I was brought in by ambulance with septic shock, actively trying to die.I was extremely fortunate that everyone there ,from the ER to ICU immediately recognized how sick I was and took life-saving measures. I am a RN and I recognize great care easily. Everyone, MDs, nurses, housekeepers, kitchen staff were absolutely wonderful, so attentive with me and made sure I got everything I needed to get better.I spent a total of 10 days there and so appreciate this the staff at this hospital for their commitment in caring and healing. I have since recommended 2 other friends to your ER and both were extremely pleased with the very professional care received..

My daughter gave birth at Sutter Hospital 2 days ago. Her delivery Nurse Lily was the most amazing supportive nurse I have ever seen. She made my daughter as well as my entire family feel so comfortable and reassured. She was attentive, informative, compassionate, knowledgeable, and so supportive. We were beyond thankful to have her there with us. Thank you Lily for everything. Dr. Jimenez was incredible. He guided the resident Dr.'s as well as made the entire room feel comfortable and we knew we were in good hands. He taught us all so much and went the extra mile to make this a beautiful family experiance. Thank you Dr. Jimenez and Lily for helping us bring Kekoa into the world! We appreciate you both from the bottom of our hearts.

I spent a little over 8 hrs in ER today.
A very long day....however I have to share what an amazing experience it was.
Nancy and Summer were sincere and caring RN's. Dr. Katherine Sutherland was outstanding with touching base with my specialist out of state and coordinating testing to give me the best care.
I can't thank the whole team here enough for compassionate and outstanding care.
Thank you so much!

Transferred to Sutter Santa Rosa Regional from another smaller hospital because the smaller hospital could not perform a needed procedure. Ended up seven days here, and every day was treated with compassion and competence by just incredible people. This care and compassion came not only from the doctors and nurses, but also from the CNAs, Housekeeping and Case Management. Everyone communicated well, seemed to have my best interests at heart, and did all this under difficult circumstances with the advancing Kincade fire. I am so grateful.
