Oakdale Recreation Area

I like this place alot that's all I can say I spend a lot of time there it's peaceful most the time and the forest rangers a cool too just be out before sunset and have a fishing license on hand cuz the ticket isn't worth the fifty bucks and ten minutes it takes to get one

One of my favorite places! Beautiful all of the time. To all of the people who come and enjoy it, please clean up your trash. You can harm the wildlife that live here. 🙂

Love catching fish. Striper were on point this year and still managed some bass

Great fishing access from both the shore and kayak. I seriously saw a thousand fish last time I was there. I would have had tons if I had a net with me but sadly I was using a rod and that never seems to work for me. It worked for everyone else though.

There are lots of animals nice people and the river is there. To get to the Oakdale rec area ..if you're coming from Oakdale you turn left at River Rd and it's right down the street you turn left and follow that Rd all the way down through the gate...if you're coming from escalon Manteca area you take highway 120 towards Oakdale/Yosemite natl park turn right at River Rd and same directions. If you follow it all the way to the end there's good fishing and a family of river otters IT DOES NOT COST ANYTHING TO GET IN

Great place to relax and fish or boating for smaller boats. Also very nice for walking around and enjoying a nature setting. I dont recommend swimming because of currents and logs and stuff in water. Overall i love oakdale rec and spend alot of time there.

Lots of memories here, a go to must if you're in the area of River and Rodden road(s).

Such an amazing place to go kayaking, very fun as well to swim in!

We always have the best time at this place. Fun in the SUN with the rafts and bring your own barbeque pit.
