Environmental Discovery Center of Sonoma County

Awesome spot to spend the afternoon with family or friends. Self guided and really kid friendly. The tide pool is amazing and full of sea creatures!

An awesome feature of spring lake park, with great interactive activities for kids of all ages, located just off the upper parking lot. Full of interpretive exhibits including taxidermied animals and articulated skeletons, a tidepool tank with live marine animals, a fishtank with real steelhead, and an accompanying spawning tank with alevins. Just one more reminder of what an incredible, diverse park this is, and how lucky we are to have the Sonoma regional parks bringing us so many recreational and educational opportunities in one place.

Very nice little discovery center. Kids loved it and we enjoyed it too. Worth the visit. No fees for getting in, only pay for the parking (for the park as well)

Great little Reginal Park Discovery Center. I would say great for kids 2ish to 8. Friendly staff. Not very big can see the whole thing in 20 minutes or so.

Rangers working we’re fantastic and took time to show my kids everything. More hands on exhibits than I would have expected. 10 stars

Super cool tide pool. My six year old son had so much fun with it. Totally worth the drive. A lot of value with the lake and lagoon

great place, hidden gem, been taking our cub and boy scouts there for 4 years, always a great outing, then we hike and explore Annadel and Spring Lake .. Staff at the Environmental Discovery Center is always, top notch, happy, attentive and informative. Great resource.

Great place for kids to learn about our environment.

Great for kids with any interest in wildlife. My daughter loves this place and the staff are very informative and patient with kids.

Awesome little museum with a tide pool right inside Spring Lake Regional Park.

An amazing place for children to explore . A very helpful and knowledgeable staff member was there to answer questions. Well worth a visit.
