I just have to come and say that this pet hospital, the vets and the lovely ladies up front go above and beyond for the well-being of animals. If I could leave 10 stars I would. Thank you and Christina for all of your help. 10/10 would recommend ❤

AMAZING job with my dogs ear crop. They have the best pricing within a 2 hour radius. Doctor did a fantastic job with the shape of the crop, and did exactly what I requested. Plus The staff was extremely kind and accommodating. 100% recommend this office!

I’m not one to leave reviews very often, but I feel like this one is due because of the excellent service that I received. I had originally gone to Stanford pet hospital and received terrible service . My dog Maverick needed emergency surgery and got no help or answers over at Standiford pet hospital . I came to American Pet Hospital the next day and was seen by Dr. Sandhu. The attention , speedy service , and attention to detail was bar none . My dog went in for surgery the same day and is doing great . I am eternally grateful for Dr.Sandhu, vet techs, and his entire team for how great they took care of my dog Maverick. 10/10 recommend !!!

This place is good. They saved my dog......for an affordable price ;). Also the place is sqraky clean and they actually answer your phone calls.

This place got me and my cat Gray-C in within a few hours of calling. We’re new patients but my mother-in-law used to have her dog treated here. My neighbor also brings her German Shepherd to American Pet Hospital. Needless to say they came highly recommended. Their bedside manner is better than any vet I’ve been to in Modesto, hands down. Theresa was super sweet, very knowledgeable and eager to provide comfort while doing an awesome job of caring for my febrile, sick cat. When I called to request a copy of the test results, Liz was kind and helpful. Her efforts re: my request were appreciated since some place I’ve taken my animals to, which shall remain nameless, acted put upon or inconvenienced when asking ANYTHING of them. I’ve got one cat in addition to this one about which I’m posting as well as two dogs and have decided that this place is our new home for all our veterinary needs. Thanks again ladies and Doc, your excellent care of my fur baby is so greatly appreciated.

Very caring, called and they said that they'd see my dog who was in terrible pain. Gave her medication will be going back For another appointment. Will be changing to this vet. Had been going to standiford vet for over thirty years, but since they opened the new facility seems like they don't care about the animals it's all about money and they have a flippant attitude towards caring about my pet.

I’ve been taking my pets to American Pet Hospital for over 20 years and have had a great experience with Dr. Sandhu specifically. He has been flexible with meeting my pet’s needs, has provided resources, and great service. The staff have always been caring and kind. My one complaint, the wait time, which was voiced, was responded to in a professional and invested way.

Overall my experience here was great. The Doctors and the staff seemed very knowledgeable and budgeted well within my needs. I took my pup here to get shots and they immediately told me I could save money with the puppy plan. Girls upfront are very inviting as well!

Camry at the front desk is a delight, and happens to love our dog which makes it so fun. Kim is always helpful and kind too, even though they’re both quite busy. The prices are fair as well, which is a huge benefit, and they take Care Credit. We recommend APH to everyone we know. *** Update *** I did take one of my puppies here at 5 weeks, since she always struggled to grow and had some obvious health issues. I ended up seeing the older vet; I think his name is Dr. Jacobs. He didn't really give her much of an exam and just said she was 'genetically weak' and would always be sick. He took her temp rectally and pushed it in about 2" into a 6" long teeny pug puppy. She cried out and continued to, as he bent the thermometer around to read it while it was still too far inside her. :( When it came out it was bloody, and he brushed off my shock, saying "They don't make those things for babies!" I don't like to give them this report, because I do like the front staff a lot, and Dr. Sandhu has been good to us, but I'd hate for anyone else to have that experience. So, if you go, see Dr. Sandhu. There can also be pretty long wait times - up to an hour.

This staff is very friendly, you can tell they love the job. The vet is knowledge and the animals seem to like him. This vet is clearly not in it for the money. I shopped around and he had the best prices. The meds are adorable and they have no problem calling it into your local pharmacy if you need them to. If you have pets you need to check them out. They are open 24 hours too!!!

The doctors and the staff here are wonderful to our pets and to our family. They have helped both keep them alive and well. And sadly have helped some pass. They are very compassionate and truely care. Id never go to another vet. After 19 years going here they are family. What other vet would stab open late just for your pet? And the prices you cant beat anyplace. All around I can't say enough about this great office.

I seriously LOVE everyone who works at American Pet Hospital.Talk about customer service... they treated my 2 dogs like kings. i walked in and the place was packed. yet they were extremely efficient in getting my dogs treated. i have no reason to go anywhere else....any negative comments on here are probably from people who cant afford it. and believe me.. they were very affordable. thank you so much Dr sandhu!

They have been very reliable, and have been there for my animals when I needed some specialist type care.
They helped me with a surgery on an eye when another Vet was unable to care for my dog. They have done OFAs for me. I've used this office for flight precheck, and puppy health certificates.
This is a great place to get your pets spayed or neutered, vaccines, or to set a broken leg. But also a great place to go when you need advanced care.

I am highly pleased with the service I received with American pet hospital, they cropped my puppy’s ears (he’s an American bully) they came out excellent and I recommend the laser treatment. The staff was very friendly and helpful. 10/10 overall. I highly recommend them for any pet needs !

The staff at this office were amazing. I spoke with 4 different offices in the modesto/jamestown area and I have to say all the others were cold and all about the dollar, not the patients needs. As much joy as animals bring to us i was saddened by the responses I received from the staff. They must have forgotten why they chose this field to work in. Thank you American Pet Hospital for your compassion and service
