Elk Park / Modesto Dog Park

This is where we always go for our dog. Theirs not much to it, simply being a wide field, but that's all these pups need to have a good time. Great place to play fetch , run with your dog, or simply let them socialize with all the other animals here. One thing to note is that they are closed Monday and Tuesday in the mornings for maintenance.

My dog always has a great time raging with her pals at the "bark park". People are good about picking up after their dog(s), so it is pretty clean and tidy. Folks are generally friendly to chat with. It is also fun to get to know other people's dog(s).

Great location with good people who care about their dogs. It's a great place for friendship and socializing dogs => they love it and will thank you for it.

Elk park is great! Love the pet owners and the pups! My girl absolutely loved her play time! If you want to socialize, this is the place! It wore my baby out!

Great dog park. Typically pretty clean but watch out for "landmines." Owners are typically attentive. There is a section for small dogs and one for larger dogs. There are benches available. The ground is covered with bark and there are some large shade trees. Bags are provided.

The park is clean and completely fenced in. There is a divider for large dogs, and medium/small dogs. There is a water fountain just inside the entry area. It is set up quite nicely. There is a canal that runs along side the park. Some people like to let their fur babies cool off there on got days or after playing!

Very pleasant park. Best of the 2 that are available for this town. It'd be nice to see a few more across this ever-growing city!

Copper and I always have a wonderful time here. Copper loves playing with all the other dogs there. And the people are always nice.

I absolutely love this dog park! Both my older dog and puppy look forward to going each morning. Love how the small and large dogs are separated..my dogs love to chase the small dogs along the fence. So cute! Overall love this place 😊

Love this place for dogs. Has a fully enclosed entrance with water spouts. Then has 2 more fully gated/fenced areas. One for large dogs, one for small. Has a few benches. Lots of shade. The dogs always seem happy, that's what's important.

Park is separated by small and large dogs. Has available baggies to clean up after dogs,they also have doggie water fountains. The people there are cool and respectful of each other and park maintenance is always up to standards.

I think I reviewed another dog park as this one,but o'well, this park is great. Separate small and large dog areas, water fountain for people and pups! Only issue and it's tiny, is that the small dog area is not lit after dark, so bring a light or even light up dog collar and you're set!

This place is great but sometimes people don't remove their agresive dogs when they should and become defensive when someone makes a comment.

Great place to take your fur babies! Friendly, section for small dogs under 30lbs and section for bigger dogs 30 lbs plus. My dog had fun!

This is a great dog park better than the other one we have here in Modesto there's two sides one for little dogs and one for big dogs. There's a water fountain for the dogs and for people. It's a great place to meet others we met a couple that met there and got married so that was really fun to hear. You never know if you're single get your Pooch and go down to the dog park .

I really like this park people are usually nice and their is space for everyone

I'm new to owning a dog which is tough already but a 16 month old in an apartment just makes for zoomies all day. This place is great for letting her run free and socialize. The 2 park design also means I don't have to worry about someone's teacup poodle getting in the way of 65 lbs of muscle running around. Everyone I've met there has been great so it's always a fun trip to the dog park!

I bring my dog here shes only 14 weeks and she can play in the small dog area. She gets ran over and beat up in the big dog park lol so until she gains another 40lbs she plays with the small doggies. Always clean and people seem friendly :)
