Save Mart

Today February 2 2024 noon time.

i was in need of 2 dozen tamales for a party tonight, but that is besides the point here. I called the store front counter lady very polite transfered me to deli. Deli not answer. Went back to front counter another lady it sounded like. I ask if they sold tamales she said in deli let me go check. Then she came back told me some info then pit on hold again then a gentleman answered ask me how many, what kind, and he says yes we have them when do you need them, besides the transferring around and put on hold few times. In the end very satisfying knowing I was taken care of and now my fiancee has to come pick them up. Great work guys thank you for making a crazy situation not so crazy!

This place is the best! Seafood salad for lunch!!! Yummmy. Cookies too. The people are nice and keep the store clean and stocked. Co-worker and i go here often.

The flowers and plants are gorgeous. I was tempted to buy some flowers for my desk. Great job Save Mart!!!

Always a clean store with helpful friendly employees and bargains to be found. The Deli/Bakery has excellent tasty choices fot a no cook night, in a pinch.

I looked at my father-in-law right before leaving for this store and said, "I'm going to the store. Do you need anything?"
"A five pound bag of dollar bills" he said. When I couldn't find this item in the store I asked an employee and this was the only thing on my list they didn't have. They had a great selection of wine, wine coolers, beer, seltzer, cider, liquor, spirits, and mixers. Oh, and they sell other stuff... I'm assuming.

During lunch at Downey I would come down her for chicken tenders and some sodas. Now I come here for any typical grocery shopping. I also got a fun little excitement on the lottery tickets quadrupling the money i put in.

The big one on Oakdale road is a great shopping place, they have local items and a ton of other stuff. It is a great place !

My go-to spot for 10 years. The best meat department of all our grocery stores. Store is clean, produce is fresh, and the staff is friendly.

Store is normally well kept, quite clean and easy to navigate without issue. Sales are easily accessible online to have a list of purchases prepared in advance and they have always had what was needed. Employees I have asked for assistance have been courteous, and very helpful and I have not lacked for assistance if something was placed higher than I am able to reach. Checkout is usually a bit time consuming, but I would anticipate that regardless of the store I am visiting.

I've always loved shopping at SaveMart. Friendly family environment.

Needed help locating some items for instacart and the young lady stopped what she was doing to help me.

Thank you Miss Charlene in the bakery/deli department!! Stopped by to pickup fried chicken order plus a chicken salad spinach wrap my son ordered at the last minute. Being the 4th of July, the department was extremely busy but she was extremely helpful even adding a little extra love to the wrap!! Most definitely stopping here again.

This is the best save Mart in Modesto. I've been going here for over 25 years and they have been consistently great in their service and personnel. Constantly I find great deals with or without coupons, and the employees remind me of stuff that I missed when it comes to a coupon or a deal. This location is in a parking lot with 30 other stores, is very easy to access from four entrances, two on Oakdale road, and two on scenic drive. I believe the products that save Mart uses to carry our unsurpassed in variety and quality locally.

The worker that works there named Karen is so nice and helpful and should get a raise. :)

Great store, they will sharpen your knifes for you. Cut up your veggies, there is a restaurant inside, they have a walk in beer cooler that is impressive. Self check out and regular checkout. The fried chicken they have is not that great but you can't have everything.

Went in to pick up some ice and drinks on our way to our family 4th gathering, the wait wasn't bad for a holiday basically in and out. Cashier... she was cheerful and the store was clean, I've always found Save Mart to have clean stores here in Modesto. I've been a shopper for a good many years now and still enjoy their service

I really enjoy shopping here as the parking is very convenient and easy in - out with traffic. The layout of the store is great with good access to a deli and organic products. Large open isles with a mostly logical arrangement. The cookies/ crackers are in their own little section (which is kinda weird) in the north east corner but lots of brands from which to close. Definitely my grocery store of choice.

Nice little SaveMart. Great produce section, deli, bakery, meat and fish counters. They carry just about everything. Some prices are high, but there are always sales and discounts.
