Mavericks Coffee Company

Stop by here every other Saturday when I am in town. Coffee is great and they roast their own beans in house and you can get bags of coffee. They have a rotating selection of pastries, my kids favorite being the oversized chocolate croissant. Staff is always friendly and there is seating inside and out. It's my favorite spot to get some coffee when I am visiting.

Excellent coffee with excellent service. The decor is sparse and plain. They should learn more into the cowboy theme.

I’ve lived in Visalia nearly my whole life and currently this is the best latte in town. Component has good atmosphere but recently there steamed milk game has been lacking and that’s really the only thing I am paying $6+ dollars for in a coffee, if you can’t get that done then I can just make it myself. I believe Samantha has made the last 3 lattes I have had, all exceeding standards. ❤‍🔥

This is a great little coffee roasting café... the roaster is right in the main area of the cafe and sounded by the tables... the fragrance is awesome!

It takes a little while, but the coffee is the best around.

I got a cold Vietnamese spiced coffee as their espresso machine wasn't working and hot drinks weren't available at that time. To my pleasant surprise the coffee wasn't super sweet and the taste was pretty balanced. The coffee shop could do well with a few board games (they have a decent book collection that I appreciated).

They've gone through a couple of changes of ownership, so the last time I was there it looked a little bare. But, the coffee is always excellent!

I live in Florida and order online. I had an issue with an order not getting delivered. I called and Ryan had a new order out within the hour of my phone call. I really appreciate that. Love this coffee and will happily continue to support this business. Thank you Ryan!

What an experience! Not only is it the best coffee I've ever had, but the people are great!
Saddle Blaster by winter. Mocha Shake by summer. Cappuccino for all other occasions. The foam is phenomenal! If you can catch one of the intimate concerts, treat yourself!

Maverick's Coffee provided me with excellent customer service. My package/coffee got lost in the mail over the holidays. Even though the shipment was confirmed delivered (it got lost in our apartment concierge) they mailed me a new bag via USPS at no charge. I emailed them and reported that I didn't receive the shipment. They were so nice and immediately wrote back that they would send me a replacement. It arrived yesterday. Thank you Ryan!! The coffee is delicious.

I live in San Diego, but my Mother lives just a few blocks away from Mavericks. Now, San Diego has a few micro-roasters to boast about (including one that held the title of national micro-roaster of the year), and I love them.
I like Mavericks better.
First, they brew their coffee in pour-over fashion. Takes a little longer, but so worthwhile. Second, They know how to roast coffee. I brought back a pound of Ethiopian coffee that was one of the best coffees I've ever had, for what a pound of Starbucks would cost you!
Any coffee lover within a 50-mile radius of this store, should be buying their coffee at Mavericks.
Now I just need to find out if they ship coffee to San Diego...

I love the coffee here. The atmosphere is super chill and smells amazing. Clean. Relaxing. Delicious. The prices are good about what you pay anywhere else. What more could you want.

Clean and cute!... I haf a delivery there with instacart, the person behind the counter was great, friendly and welcoming. Next visit will be for a coffee... definitely will be stopping by!.

Wonderful coffee shop so delightful to go too. I loved the delicious welcoming smell of roasted coffee beans as I opened the door. My drink didn’t disappoint me either.

Been coming to Mavericks and buying their coffee since they opened. Love the atmosphere and especially the coffee and the way it is prepared. If you like decaf, then know that Mavericks' decaf is chemical free which is why I give them a 5 star!

I enjoy coming here on a regular basis. The coffee is great! It's hard to find organic coffee. And, if your interested. It's here. The owner's are friendly and the customers are happy. Come and try it!

Heard about this place on New Rock 104.1, so decided to stop by on recent visit to Visalia. Ordered a Americano hot with no cream or sugar and a Cold Brew with no cream or sugar. I normally order one or the other but really wanted to test these guys out. I must say both we're excellent as were very flavorful, and rank with some of the better roasts I have ever had. Needless to say I found my new spot to grab coffee whenever I am in Visalia, glad I signed up for the rewards program.
UPDATE: Have made several return visits and am attempting to make why way through the variety of roasts they offer including Maverick's Blend, Midnight Ride, Sequoia, and Peru. I have yet to be disappointed. Smells especially delicious when the roaster is going. Staff has always been friendly. This place is what a coffee house should be!

Great cup of coffee. The owners have always made you feel welcome. Tried a tequila cold brew today. Wow it was good. Keep pushing the norm and creating something incredible.

Always a pleasure going into this fabulous coffin house. Caring owners and the coffee is outstanding. I come from Tulare almost everyday to get a cup. I only shop the locals now no more corporate places ever!

The owners are really friendly and the coffee is terrific! The atmosphere is just what you would expect for cafe / roasting house. I highly recommend Mavericks and you MUST try their Cold Brew!
