Green Acres Market

One of the best BBQ spots in Simi Valley! Love this spot! I usually end up going with the Tri Tip Sandwich (the roll is garlic bread) combo that comes with 2 sides and a fountain drink. I got the baked beans and mac & cheese. The meal was absolutely delicious! They have several BBQ sauces here and my favorite is the Whiskey Habanero BBQ. Check this spot out cause it rocks!

This hot pastrami from the outside BBQ is the best pastrami I've had in a long time! I didn't get strings of meat hanging from my lips after I took a bite 😂 I took a bite, the pastrami bit right off, it was tender and delicious 😋 I'd highly recommend this and also the beef brisket sandwich was also tender and good. The BBQ sauce wasn't too sweet but had a nice tangy flavor.

Love this place. The tri top sandwiches are so good. The market is awesome with a huge selection of meats and great fresh produce. They have a great selection of frozen game meats also. The staff is awesome and always friendly and helpful.

If you like BBQ, you will love this place. It's so good that we plan our bicycle rides around this joint. It's clean and has outside seating, and although we've never been inside, I do believe you can get hard-to-find specialty meats inside. Staff is also efficient and friendly.

We enjoy the fresh air outside, and dig the Trip-tip and Brisket sandwiches especially.

Amazing salad!!! Fresh greens and bbq chicken was grilled to perfection not dry but not burnt either. Usually order the tri-tip sandwich also delicious but this salad hit the spot on a hot summer day! I ordered the half salad very filling i had left overs.

The BBQ BEEF! This sandwich is packed full of juicy tender BBQ tri-tip! No grisly bits, all tender prime beef! The char flavor is so delicious, you will crave this sandwich until the next visit! Slather one of the 4 blended sauces, get messy without regard, and enjoy! It doesn't get any better.

From RI and visiting my Son, daughter-in-law and GrandBabies and we look forward to our Green Acres dinner every time we visit Simi Valley CA. First, why go to the restaurant when Green Acres bring the restaurant to you? I ordered a 3 rib Ribeye roast, twice baked potato’s and the best Mac & Cheese ever! Not only are the cut choices among the very best but they cooked the entire meal to absolute PERFECTION!!! I e said it many times and will say it once again “I wish I had a Green Acres near me in RI”!!! All this AND every employee treats you like GOLD! What a professional organization Green Acres is. Finally, to prepare this roast with such perfection would have cost me most of my day but that’s to these guys I had more family time to spend. I hope you NEVER change Green Acres because you’re 1 in a Million!! 👍

I went on a HOT day, and the outside patio had misters to reduce the temp. Highly recommend the BBQ beef sandwich! Inside, the grocery store has extensive fresh specialty meats and blemish-less produce. Really nice displays.

THE best BBQ place that I have been to outside of TX. Everything on the menu is amazing. Just throw a dart at the menu and enjoy whatever dish you land on.

I had the "BBQ Chicken Dinner" comes with potatoe salad, chili beans and one Garlic roll, it's delicious! I made a Big delicious Sandwich, amazing! the personal is so kind, good attention and beautiful place to eat! 🐔🥩🍻

I've been going to green acres since I was a kid. I haven't had their tri tip sandwich in almost a decade. I was excited when I arrived there and there was only one person in line ahead of me! So lucky. I waited a few minutes to take my meal home to eat it. If you want to eat outside, their porch dining is open. I had the tri tip sandwich and some potato salad. It was as good as I remember. Thank you for being a reason to come to Simi Valley!

Awesome BBQ! The line for their outdoor restaurant is right up against the grills so it can be a little smokey on a windy day but it smells amazing. Very good range of food available, as well as being a fully functional market on the inside; with a deli counter and everything. Would definitely recommend!

My go to is the tri tip, love that is sliced thin.
Or the half chicken, either one never disappoints.

Had the chicken salad and chili, it was so good. Has a open grill bbq pit and outdoor seating. Perfect for a beautiful sunny day lunch outside.

I love it. Some people think it’s a bit expensive, but for the quality…it’s just too hard to find! Wish I could shop there daily/weekly with the wife. Not Sue if they have, but they should expand across the nation.
