Legion Park (aka the pickle Park) is a beautiful Park. 5 mile bike trail. Fishing and river access. There is allot of homeless that congregate in the park and the parking lot. Some times there's allot of garage from people dumping in parking lot and the park. But it is maintain daily from city of Modesto.

Beautiful park! I had a fun hike with my family. The playground is cute also. Nice day in th fresh air was good for our souls. There are homeless in the park,, just be aware of your surroundings like everywhere else.

We enjoyed the great outdoors. There was an area that had caught on fire and was still smoking. That was the only downside of our visit.

This is my favorite place on the planet lately. Park employees have groomed the BBQ areas and keep restrooms clean and well stocked with T. P. The trees are beautiful. I enjoy riding my bike around a horseshoe turn trail that runs along the waters edge. The grey fox let me get so close last time I saw him I could almost count the whiskers on his face. It was amazing.

It's like a mystical Forest with various trails that lead to world's unimaginable some good some bad but in the end it is always up to you to navigate the course you have it is a nice place the trees speak truth and parables calling out to all enjoy your day enjoy today for tomorrow is never promised. Enjoy yourself laugh cry fight forgive me connect second chances third chances forgiveness is what keeps us going... These are the emotions of the trees because you can tell they have been neglected and abused by gluttony in the political sphere you would think that we would really treasure these wonderful parks that we have in America and in California but we don't if the area is bad then people don't care if it's funded. But what we are really doing is enabling a bad situation to become dire and we could have changed the trajectory of the park meaning the loss of so many trees but no one cared everyone was focused on themselves what do we do when we have no more "havens of refuge" such as our beautiful lush tree infused parks. This park is actually called "L'ufficio aka The Office💼 it has many purposes and facilitates Um... Ayuda a mucha gente y ayuda a ganar dinero para la gente😌

This is a 2 mile long wide paved multi-use trail for bikes and walkers. It is part of of a park with some restrooms, picnic tables, and playground facilities available. It is well away from densley populated areas due to the county airport being adjacent. Large Oak, Walnut trees keep this area shaded, pleasant and a haven for wildlife due to the Tuolomme River.

Only 10 minutes off the 99 freeway, it is a great place to walk and enjoy some conversation with a friend, or get a good run in for exercise. On a Monday afternoon from 4-6pm I only saw about 5-7 people on the trail. A quiet area, with plenty of grass and quieter nooks off the trail to relax. No benches though

It is a great place to hike, have a BBQ or just relax along side the river. It is best during the week, but even with crowds on the weekend won't take away the pleasure of the place.
