Memo’s Cocina & Tequila Bar

Some of the best Mexican food in Modesto! The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant is on point, very modern. My server Jamie was wonderful, she made sure to take care of all of my needs. She made great suggestions that ended up being phenomenal choices! Chips and sides were brought out within less than a minute of sitting down. Chips and tortillas were fresh and homemade. Will be going back in the future!

Had a terrible day !!! Went here for a drink completely in a down mood very sad. The bar tender samara was amazing she lifted my spirits and made me an old fashion!! The drink was amazing. We talked for a hour at least also the manager came out and he was amazing as well gave me insight on some near by steak houses since I’m new to the area. I love this place!!! Very happy I came here. Also got the sampler platter it was 5 star.

My wife had a surprise birthday party for me. We had 20 people. The food was excellent as always. Everyone got their food hot and at the same time. One of the best server I have ever had. They set us up on the patio so it was intimate but had heaters so it was perfect for all our friends and family.

Our go to restaurant, pricey but good, service is fantastic, food is amazing, cocktails are delicious. The atmosphere feels modern and sleek.

I enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. Great friendly customer service. My fish meal was very tasty. My fish was nice and flaky. The decor of the place was fabulous. Can't wait to go again and enjoy this place.

We love Memo's in Turlock, and the New Modesto location is very nice! Glad it's Not in the Downtown area! Similar Vibe to Turlock. Wait staff was Very Friendly, Food Spot on Delicious!

100% recommended, everything was great, the food was great, it was our first time with friends and I would return with my family, the atmosphere was great, the service was excellent, 10 out of 10.

Fantastic little restaurant. Great date spot or just to get a drink with friends. Beans are top tier and the Guacamole is delicious.

Great place. And if you want a bit of a show ask for the avocado cart. They come out and make guacamole right next to you!

Good drinks & good food set to a nice, snazzy atmosphere. Wait staff are nice and will help you pick out an order if it's your first time and unsure of what to get. Overall a wonderful experience.

The food was amazing! The place is pretty congested inside so we ate outside in the patio. Much better! Great service.

We dined on a Monday evening, seated in a bar area booth. Seating in the main portion of restaurant seemed a bit blah, no window, or anything interesting to look at. The bar seating is much more open, inviting to the atmosphere. Service was great, food was very tasty, lots of traditional dishes w/plenty of choices for every pallette, or dietary lifestyle. Prices are definitely reasonable. They even have a menu section for the kiddos & a separate menu of an extensive list of tequilas & drinks! We'll definitely be back. Memo's is a great choice for a casual meal, event, or simply cocktails & apps. Not your typical Mexican restaurant. A gem indeed. Highly recommend!

Went here for a work lunch. Food was delicious, staff was super friendly and attentive. Would definitely go back next time in Modesto. Would recommend.

Great place to eat. Fajitas were enough for 2 people there was so much. Drinks are a little pricey, but still ok. Service was good- we went right before it got busy for lunch. Only “complaint” is the how they serve chips and salsa- looks weird and isn’t enough- but very modern and matches an upscale type restaurant- just would skip that and serve them regular. Overall will eat here again.

The inside is beautiful! As someone who frequents taco trucks and more homestyle mexican restaurants, please don't go to Memo's thinking you're going to get the same thing here. It's definitely more elevated mexican dining, but still very delicious!
