Sears

Coming back here, i don't know what it was, but it was a surreal, strange feeling. The store being nearly empty was unsettling at first, but the more time I walked through there, the more I listened to the music, and really took in the place, I felt at peace. I don't know what it is about stores like this, but it makes me feel so peaceful. I really can't put my finger on it, but it felt oddly comforting, like I was a child once more, when I would go to department stores like this with my mom. I can't say I didn't tear up a bit as I roamed the floors, just taking everything in, or as I'm writing this review. And after spending the whole day at the mall, walking, exploring, this felt like an appropriate end to the day. Y'know, there's nothing very special about this place, which is what makes it so special to me. And the little watch repair booth on the underground floor....man it not only made me feel warm inside, but also tore me up inside that it wasn't getting more business. Especially the old man who was working the little booth when I was there, he seemed so kind and wholesome, so it hurt to see no one was going there. You best believe if I had a watch I would go here if it broke. The experience was so liminal and surreal (in a good way). There were random empty shelves forming little pens, which little me would've loved to play around in. There was one hallway with wooden doors and stairs at the end, it honestly felt like it had its own story to tell. I felt sad, since when I was there, there were probably only around 30 people in there including the staff, but it took seeing some kids playing around there, on the display beds, playing hide and seek to make my day. I gotta say, it felt strangely peaceful, a big, quiet haven from all the noise and busyness of the mall. I honestly felt like I wanted to curl up in a ball, reminisce about my childhood, and cry. Look what this world has become.....pronouns, people thinking there's more than two genders, war....why can't we go back to the simpler times. I am full blown tears now. Wow, who knew a good venting space would be Google maps. I know not many people will read this, in fact, probably not anyone. And even though that's the case, I'm at least happy I got to get all this out. And if anyone from this Sears is reading this, please give a shout-out to the guy at the watch repair shop. Please...please don't let this store go out of business, I already lost many other stores I have had a personal, childhood connection and memories with...Target...Kmart...Rite-Aid. Please Sears, don't let me lose you too....I can't take that damage. Please, I'm begging you. Honestly, going back after so long, it felt almost like a religious experience. Please don't leave me Sears, I plan to bring my kids here in the future, and show them this beauty of a store, and have them experience the same feeling I felt returning here. Wow...I am full blown sobbing now....I really need to get out more. Well, if you're still reading this, thank you, for listening to me vent. I really appreciate you. And if anyone from Sears is reading, thank you for the memories, please, don't leave me, I love this store. Please Sears, please. I have to go now....godspeed. Edit: I was extremely drunk while writing this

Always a good place to find a value, and decent boys/men's clothing for my 17 yr old autistic son.

Watch and jewelry repair is fantastic, took his treasure trove of clock parts and rebuilt a used motor, resized and painted hands to match our clock, and cleaned it so we have our new/old clock working once again, all for $30. Thank You.

I took two old watches to have their batteries changed. the gentleman that services the watch repair counter has been there for decades. is not only knowledgeable but he's patient kind and knows exactly what to do. He only charges for what he does and their prices are extremely reasonable. if you need simple repairs or maintenance to your watch I recommend this place

Sears Concord, CA is a valuable store that sells quality merchandise at reasonable prices. I took the time to walk the entire store to familiarize myself with everything this store has. I was impressed by the selection of different items and services offered within the store. Everything a home, car, and person would need is sold at Sears. Yes - Sears has had a difficult run fighting the online competition. Yes - Sears has had some inventory issues. And Yes - sometimes you need to wait for a cashier. But even so - Sears remains competitively priced and provides real value to hard working families. I purchased a nice watch, clothes, and kitchen items on my last trip. People should support Sears and avoid monopolistic competitors that sell counterfeit goods. Give this store a chance and support a business that actually provides value to our society.

I love Sears although some of the clothes aren't cute. There aren't a lot of good options for little girls. There is always a great deal when I shop there. I love being able to use my money points on purchases.

I was helped by Kevin in selecting a mattress at this Sears store. He was extremely knowledgeable and very helpful in recommending mattresses. By this time I had been to several mattress stores in the bay area. But Kevin's customer service stood out.

Likewise earlier when I called this Sear's store a different salesperson picked up the phone (Kevin). He was also very helpful in answering my questions.

Based on my interactions with the mattress department personnel, I give 5 stars to this store.

It was a pleasant experience to find, ones again, clothing and brands. That I grew up with! Lee it's one of my favorite brands in the whole wide world! The clerk that helped me at the check out counter, was very pleasant, indeed! I shall continue shopping Sears! Thanks! Humbert Henry Cerra

Just a SHOUT OUT for the watch repair services they have. Winston is the BEST ! He is a master of his craft. He was able to find a way to repair my Guess bracelet wrist watch...I went to other places and could not do anything...He also meticulously cleaned my other watches which I brought for batteries...I don't know how he did it, but the scratches disappeared on my Swatch watch. He is GREAT!!! They charge reasonable..

Do you need clothes for a new career change in these COVID times? Sears has you covered with CRAZY sales right now and helpful sales people. Working in an office, or building the office building, Sears has the right clothes for the job. The clothes are NICE and right now lots of 40, 50, 60, 70 percent off signs. Even 50% off Levi's. Sears is really the greatest department store of all time hands down.

I love Sears. You can find everything here. Prices are in line or better than what you would find online. Great appliance section. Great Bed section. Great tool section. Many other great sections of this store. Give your support to SEARS. The day Jeff Bezos owns everything will be a tragedy for everyone!

Watch Department deserves 5 Stars although unfortunately he's in an out of the way spot in the lower level of this former mainstay department store. I'll try to keep track of where the watchmaker goes after Sears folds it's tent. Too bad it succumbed to a chainsaw management owner.

Love this Sears store! They have EVERYTHING you need! Great prices in great selection. Neat and organized, not clustered or crowded. Very nice Department Store.

I want to say two things. The first is that the store smells like humid for parts and second that I loved the service and friendliness of the cashier Consuelo López.

I can remember shopping at Sears as a child with my Mom 50+ yrs. ago. Their secret was take care of your customers with variety of products that last and
afford. Sears is one of last retail icons with generations of loyal customers that will have brands not found elsewhere.
