I give them 5 stars because this is the BEST place to take your injured fury loved one. My chipoo Henry was hit by a car speedy in my neighborhood. I immediately called them frantic, and a calm, sweet voice came on the phone and got me in right away. A nurse came to his aid as soon as I walked in and took him back for treatment immediately. Everyone was so kind and understanding and helped me to calm down. I anxiously waited for an answer, and I was not kept waiting long. Everyone was reassuring and comforting. I HIGHLY recommend Tulare-Kings Veterinarian Emergency!

Everyone has their own personal experiences, however, I am incredibly grateful to Tulare Kings Emergency Veterinary because they saved my 1 year old German Shepherd. She was hit by a car 2 days ago (on a Saturday), and my partner and I rushed her to them. There was a fee of $1,500 in order to stabilize her, however, I would do anything for my dog/baby. They then immediately took her back to stabilize her and save her life. After an hour and a half in the waiting room, they came to tell us that she was doing a little bit better, and that it was recommended that she be kept overnight to prevent her from going into shock. The vet was very compassionate, and took the time to answer all of our questions. When we asked if we could see her for a minute, the Vet arranged for us to be with our dog for several minutes. They took care of her overnight, and we were able to pick her up the next day in the afternoon. All staff were kind and helpful during this stressful time. I am so grateful to them for caring for my baby and saving her life. Also, they were right off the freeway which made it so much easier to get her there quickly. 🙌🏼

Thank you for treating me and my kitty so well. The staff treated everyone as if they were people, not just another crying patient. It is hard when our animals are sick!

I cannot express how grateful my husband and I are for this place and their staff. Our dog was in the middle of labor and some complications so we took her in during the night. The staff was so welcoming, caring and understanding. They made sure we were properly equipped with materials and knowledge before bringing our dog back home to finish her labor. They answered ALL our phone calls with a welcoming tone of voice. They never once complained about us calling what felt like every 2 minutes for an hour and they walked us through steps during the labor process when we were at home. I’ve been to multiple vets and even though this one is an ER and could be expensive they do not care about your money what so ever like other places. They care more about your pet than how much they are going to bill you. What could have turned into a thousand dollar visit at any other place, it was only a couple hundred here. Although I hope no one ever has to take their pet here, if you do end up in an emergency I would definitely recommend this place. Thank you to the staff for being so loving and caring to not only our baby, but to us as well.

I took my kitten here, unfortunately she didn’t make it but the staff was so comforting and took us in the back to have a private moment with her. It was probably one of the hardest day I’ve ever had and the staff told us that they would take care of the bill. I’m very thankful for their act of kindness and will forever remember that morning. Rest in peace Luna. 🤍

Amazing staff, very compassionate and very informative. Traveled from Bakersfield on a Saturday morning because my pug puppy had a foxtail in his ear. After calling the majority of vets in town, Tulare-Kings Veterinary Emergency Services saved the day. They have you wait in your vehicle and call once they are ready for your fur baby. A million thanks to the TKES staff! 👏 Keep up the great work 👍

The staff from the receptionist to the techs and Dr. Peterson were nothing but amazing. I had to bring my cat Khaleesi in as she was lethargic and vomiting. The tech Bianca was amazing and kept me updated. Dr.Peterson provided the best care she could. She passed away but I’m glad that she was given the best help that she could get on her final day.

So I took my brat husky to get checked his paw checked out because it would bleed everytime he stepped down on it. He wasn't acting hurt but just to be safe we took him in. We called in as this is an open all night vet hospital and they told us to bring him in. When we got there they had extra leashes that we could use just in case. They took us right away & places us in a room. We filled out paper work as we waited as well. There was a bit of a wait being that there were other pets before us but well worth it. One of the girls there told us that before they do anything to our pet they will come out and let us know what needs to be done and if we're okay with it then they'll proceed. So finally they took my fur baby in.The Vet Dr. came out after she examined my baby and explained to us what she found and what needed to be done. We gave the go ahead and after some time my baby was out of surgery and coming out of his anesthesia. My baby received 2 stitches on his paw and they also provided antibiotics and pain meds for him to take for 10 days. What I thought was really exceptional was that they told us that we could go back and have the stitches removed at no additional cost. A head cone was also provided which my baby HATED 😱!! This place is very very clean and the staff is very very nice and friendly. The Dr. was really nice as well. I do recommend this vet 100%.

My daughter's cat got into a spare closet and ended up with a fish hook in her belly.

The receptionist and everyone at the facility were wonderful. Awesome experience all around, once the hook was removed of course.

Cannot begin to express the gratitude I have for the staff here. Our kitty needed an emergency surgery on A Saturday, and nothing else was even open... We were scared. Doctor Bobby Huey and his Vet Techs were all so helpful during a time that was scary for us, and generally put our minds at ease with their care and professionalism. Bella and I thank you all so much! Bella is feeling better every day!

I have taken my cat here several times. Once in 2020, 2022, and 2024. Even though the staff was different each time, the treatment was consistent. The staff work hard to get patients seen in a walk-in basis. They were very understaffed when we visited, but we were seen in a timely manner. The team there works hard and we appreciate the time and energy they dedicate for our fur babies!

This message is for Kristy Peterson and all the staff working last Sunday morning. 2/12/23. Unfortunately I had to say good bye to my best friend and companion of 13 years. His name was Ruckus and he was my sweet boy. He was suffering and I knew we couldn't make it through the weekend to see our Vet on Monday. Making the decision and actually driving to the ER was one of the most gut wrenching experiences of my life knowing my best friend would not be coming home with me. Ruckus was seen right away, and I thank God I had someone as compassionate as Kristy. She was so sweet and comforting and understanding of the situation. I was hesitant due to the fact of me not knowing the staff personally. BUT I'm so grateful and I was truly blessed with the wonderful human beings surrounding my Ruckus in his last moments. Kristy was so patient and so kind, she brought him a blanket and gave him so much love. The sweet tech (i'm sorry for not getting her name) brought Ruckus some sweet treats, which he loved. This was not a happy memory, but it was memorable and gave me a lot of peace and comfort due to the compassion and love from all the staff. I applaud the staff , this job is not for the weak, all while having such big hearts. From the receptionist, to the vet tech to Kristy you all are amazing and I wish you could have gotten to know Ruckus he would have loved you all. I cannot thank you enough for the way you treated me and my family. Words cannot express my gratitude. I miss my Ruckus so much, but I find comfort knowing he crossed the rainbow bridge surrounded by love.

Our 16 year old Mini Aussie (Sierra Doggy dog) had been on a steady decline, and we made the hard decision to bring her in on a Friday night. We called ahead and were taken straight back into a room, treated so tenderly by all of the staff & we had our old girl back home and back to the earth in under an hour.

So grateful to the entire staff for making such a hard situation a little easier.

I took my kitten here. Unfortunately, we ended up opting for euthanasia. They were very supportive and gave me lots of information to make my decision. We received excellent, compassionate care here. I was always seen quickly as well. Prices are fair considering the convenience of services provided. I hope no one has to go here but I recommend it if you do.

Wonderful the man who helped out my pit was so nice and literally carried her to the back because she’s scared. Other people would drag my dog by the leash. Love it here and will always choose this place over others.

We have taken our dog here a couple of times. The staff here is very good with him. They treated him quickly and they really care about his well-being. They also forwarded their information to his regular vet, which I really appreciate.
